Still waiting for mine to budge from Chicago, I think they were likely on the same plane with yours. Today makes 9 days, but they'll make progress as soon as they can. Everything is so slow. I...wonder if Switch offers a DHL upgrade, I'd be tempted to see if my Concerto boy can be shipped that way.

 

I was going through Switch's weibo and it seems like they are going to release Yido Inferno in Powder Beige. Does anyone know anything about it?

We have update! It has officially arrived at USPS regional facility in Chicago. Expected delivery by tomorrow, but I am skeptical unless it moves out of Chicago today. Sending hope that yours also got processed!

I am also debating on snagging the new Ryuzo head! On a side note, I know they said they would keep the 10% coupon up until the release of the 64 body which is delayed... does anyone happen to know when that will be? I'm trying to snag that coupon too, but holding off until the very last moment ^^;;

 

Actually, I was thinking of getting the coupon too. Has anyone gotten it yet? Do you get the points right away or is there processing time?

 

I believe if you buy it before a certain time of day in KR time, you'll get it right away, but if you get it after that time, it'll process the next day! I think it's in the notes of the coupon!

I was wondering if anyone happens to own both Ryuzo and Ryuzo: Persona that can send some photos of the sculpts? I've seen some good deals for Ryuzo: Persona lately, but now that Ryuzo is out, I really want to know how different they are.

 

i saw some photos from owners, they are pretty similar as eyes of ryuzo is small

i think overlaying the official photos can tell there is a minor change on eyes only

Man, I shouldn't have waited so long to buy the coupon today. Guess I will have to wait until tomorrow for Switch to give me the points. My Gyoha is going to be home some time tomorrow or the day after.

 

Bought my coupon in advance for the monthly release. My Milktea Yozo is finally getting a body!

I've been eying the Breathless hands and as beautiful as they are... I know I'm too lazy to ever change out my boys hands lol.

My Gyoha has finally arrived! Can't wait for the next month to spend all of my money on my lovely Switch boys. I also hope there will be re-releases of wigs in Moonlight and some other colours...

 

i have both Ryuzo and Ryuzo P and the only difference is that Ryuzo P has more sleepy eyes whereas regular Ryuzo has open eyes ^^ Hope that helps.

Ahh, why couldn't Switch release the bodies at the same time as the heads! Now I have to wait three more days to buy Ryuzo! I'm very determined to collect all of Switch's skin colours.

It would be a nice option to be able to add a body to the head order. Thankfully, the resin matches are pretty good for all but Mocha Brown. I have a MB Waseon from 2017 or so and the next year's batch is completely different. Anyhow, I'll be counting down with you since I'm also joining the August order. My points are ready to go!

 

I'm wondering if the new Milktea Rose body will be too different from a 2019 head... That's the only thing holding me back from getting a body for my Soseo from Switch.
As for Mocha dolls, it seems too difficult to find a body so I'm going to just buy a full doll. I saved up just enough money to get someone on a 65 cm body

 

I think you'd most likely be safe... No guarantee of course, but Switch is pretty consistent. I was worried about color matching when I got a RW Seolrok Somnia and he was from the original release. His 2020 body matches just fine!

Also, could anyone tell me about the poseability of the 60cm boy body? I might have already fallen in love, but it would be nice to know what to expect.

And, when ordering direct through Switch, do they write the full parcel value on the outside, for customs? I can juuuust afford a full dolly, but if I have to add taxes on top of that... I'd like to know how much extra I need to save

 

You can always ask them in the comment section of your order to write lower value, so don't worry (even for UPS/ EMS premium).

 

Switch were kind enough to write the lower value even though I didn't ask them to do that. But you can always contact them and ask anyway.

 

Unfortunately the Chicago centre is one of the worst in the whole country. It had a report made on it and everything, so anything that goes through it has the chance to take much longer unfortunately. Or it can speed through like nobody’s business. Their management system is completely broken

I've just ordered Ryuzo on a HD70A body with a pair of Breathless! I've fallen for him in Rosy White because of the SONATINE collaboration face-up, and I will try to do such a clean bright face-up as well.
Now I just have to actually do a face-up for at least one of my Switch boys at home... but the weather won't allow that for some time.

 

Hello, since I'm planning to hybrid an head that's in rosy white, are there some comparison pics of Switch resin with other companies?

switch did that on their own girl's body.
i remember choyo, taerin & yiwon get thier promotion photos on girl's body
maybe use the measurement of switch girl's body for reference to find your hybrid?

I think Doll family H and A make custom colors. At least, I saw the Rosy white color available on Taobao. I asked Alice Collections and you can buy custom colors with them, you just need to put it on the comments section in your order. I'm planning to buy Ryuzo in RW and hybrid him with the DF-A 70 body. Hope it helps!

I heard too that DFH has a color matching service, and that's actually pretty interesting so I'll take it into consideration. The only issue is if the head is gonna fit proportion wise one of their female bodies (the tallest is 62cm, I asked a friend to measure it and that's the true height) so I need to see well how big is the head first.
DFA has a 68cm girl body but... That's too big! I didn't want my girl to be taller than all my boys

 

I actually recently did this. For the Yido head I'm waiting for, I ordered dfh 65cm body matched to switch mocha brown from alice collections. Because they already have the sample it cost the same as ordering their tan option. I guess Ill see how close it is eventually.

 

I got my Huisa head in RW and... It's actually less pale than I expected??? Mind, it is still very pale compared to my other normal pink dolls, but it's not white. I quite like the color actually. If I find a body I can color match when ordering, I guess I'm gonna do that!
I also tried it on every body I own (female 58cm which is obv a huge no, DFA male 62cm wich is still a little small and DFH 68cm which I find too tall.) So yeah 65 range is probably the best fit. Now, I need a female body that's about 65cm and I dunno which to choose

 

I've never seen a doll in RW irl so I'm really curious. Can't wait for my Ryuzo.

hello anyone did a hybrid with switch rosy white skin with dfh white? is it a good match?

 

Doll Family H actually does free resin matching if they happen to have samples of the shade you're trying to match! I actually just contacted ACBJD to ask if DFH had SWITCH's Rosy White and Milktea Rose, they do! The only thing is that depending on what year or sample they have, it might look slightly different. But I think you can also send in samples or if you find a paint card that is the same as the one you want, you can also send that in!

I impulsively decided to purchase a Huisa Direction head from someone who was selling him. I'd like a thinner body for him but most 65cm bodies are more muscular than what I'm thinking of. I thought about DF-H 62cm Ver 5 body but I think I saw someone's opinion that it feels too small? Was wondering if anyone has any hybrids on thinner bodies or bodies under 65cm

 

My concerto yido arrived yesterday. The mocha brown colour is really cool. Hopefully the dfh body I ordered for him is a close match and doesnt take too long wait time, haha.

And I agree, Mocha Brown is amazing. I would really love a doll in this colour, preferrably a Ryuzo, but I also need to finally get my MR Soseo a body I just hope they won't re-release MB Ryuzo for another year at least
