Spirit Doll 66cm Girls!

Twigling that's so great that you got your body too! I'm still waiting on my large bust, I hope it ships soon.

 

I was originally looking at the Daffodil head in white, for a Soom Amber body I'm getting in, but the body keeps tugging at my purse stings...

I'm thinking maybe getting the head now, and save up for a Freesia or Lotus before the end of the year?!

 

lol, I want Freesia too! I want to either buy a white skin freesia or just a tan freesia head. but I know I will just be setting myself up if I do the latter because it kills me having just a head ><

 

Btw, I also got a WS small bust for a hybrid, and the white resin has a pinky undertone that does not match my Soom CW or Fairyland BW resin exactly. I think a hybrid could be made, and my observations are not exact as my other WS resins will have yellowed a bit.

 

I know! I've only got one floating head, and he's the one I feel the most sorry for out of all my poorly dressed dolls, so he's the one who gets the most eye and wig changes!

Hmmmmm, you know, I could give him a sex change, get him a Spirit doll female body in normal skin, then get a white Daffodil head for my Amber body!

Oh Spiritdoll! Why did you have to make them so prettyful!

Those are wonderful! Thank you, twigling. The Spirit Doll bodies look like pretty good candidates for the spare Soom heads I have lurking around (Heliette, I'm lookin' at you... ) definitely, from what I'm seeing there. I'd heard people mention that the BW/WS was a good match, but seeing the NS looking good is even more fantastic.

Gah, seeing those pics is tearing my mind apart. I love my Dia, but her body is way too curvy for her character - the Spirit Doll body would be perfect. But imperfect resin/neck size matches bug me...

 

Twigling and dreadfulme - Thanks for the pictures and critique. Very helpful. Do you think her collar bones are too sharp? I just have this personal aversion to overly sharp collar bones like the Souldoll double big girls have. I suppose it's a rather subjective question but would like your opinion anyway.

I really wouldn't know because she shipped straight to my friend to save on shipping. collarbone does look rather sharp though.

 

The collarbones look a bit sharp but I don't mind that so much. The breasts and neck-detail and collar bones remind me of Supia bodies.

I definately will get this body for my floating Volks head, I think it will look great on this body instead of hunting down a SD17 or SD16 body, and price is great too

I would love to see owner pics with the large bust. My Ipsae's dollmore body has been a bit disappointing. So I'm wanting to hybrid her to the spirit body.

I love the fact that there's a large bust (the character is supposed to be busty) and double joints in the knees as well as the arms on the spirit girls.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing the other bust sizes (large and small) as well. I am thinking this body will be ideal for a few things (in addition to the Freesia I am still coveting) and one smaller-busted, and one larger-busted body would be incredibly handy.

Dreafulme--how are the seams on your tan girl and is the resin more to the brown than the orange and is it a lighter rather than a darker tan? It's just so hard to tell. I've been mulling over a tan girl and haven't decided yet, but I think my first tan doll may be one of these girls.

Just curious--how many of you like the smaller bust? Since I'm busty myself and can never get shirts or jackets to fit, I really prefer smaller busted dolls--so much easier to sew for

 

I got the smaller bust, but in a different colour. When I did try it on the body, I found I liked it better. I don't mind big boobs, but for the frame on this one I prefer the smaller size.

For any of the owners of this new body, do you have any ideas on some high-heeled feet that would fit? I'm not overly concerned about resin match, since they'd usually be in shoes, but as an FYI I'm getting the white skin body. Spirit doesn't make heeled feet, do they?

 

They make high heel feet, just check the website.

 

The tan resin is more of a browny color and compared to my DZ lighter tan (the one that was discontinued), it's a fair bit darker. Unfortunately, I haven't had any other tan dolls so I can't give a better description
I saw the Jade they used for the promotional pictures, and places where she was sanded are a bit lighter, but it isn't too bad.

I have some pictures of the different girls save Freesia since her head got sold, but I need to find a way to get the pictures onto my computer. When I do, I'll post them on DOA~

LisaMarie: The tan is a terry cotton brown and is definitely browny in tone - not orange

Catdancer: The medium bust is default with the body. You have to order the large bust separately. They will not sell the large bust with the body as a default either.

Oh, Catdancer, I just got a Dreaming June head yesterday to put on my Feeple body; tried her briefly on the Spirit body, but she is so tiny (!) there wouild need to be some modding of the neck or neckhole for that to work right. I saw a pic of your June/Fin hybrid, btw and it looked great.

I was seriously tempted by the Dollmore large bust girls but I think I prefer the shape of the spirit dolls. One large bust girl would be fun I think. If only just to shock people at a doll meet......

Thats a good friend to know. Can you buy the razor dress Jade is wearing? Ask her is she could make dark tan also.

But I really love her... After playing with her for a bit, I don't know if I can bear to give her away, especially because I am pretty sure my cousin might change her faceup.

Changing the topic; for those who are interested in different skin tones such as a darker tan or grey skin, while Spiritdoll do not have plans for them as of now, it is possible as long as there are enough people interested. Ghost (and apologies for any confusion, by Ghost I am not referring to the one on DOA but the maker of Spiritdoll) said that if you guys can get together a group order of at least 20 dolls with the same skintone, it would be possible. Of course, there would be an extra cost like ordering any doll in tan skin, but I am not sure how much it would be

 

Seeing the body now makes me feel a bit better...ah, Freesia and Daffodil

What are the more adult looking dolls called. Like I saw one male doll said "Elder" next to his link. Does Elder apply to male and female adult or older teen looking female dolls also? Some are so beautiful and sexy with a full glam figure and not a little girl face in makeup. I have a nice 60cm doll with large bust and milky white skin but a little girl face with long lashes and smokey eye makeup. What do I look up or search for to find an older head mold doll in 50-70cm? Freesia's head got sold so she isn't there

She was actually one of my favorites when I saw photos, but then I went to see them in person and both Jade and Daffodil won me over

Wow I really wish that site were more easy to get around. I can find hardly any pictures of these dolls... Which is kinda silly for an object we really need to look at >_< site creators might wanna fix that asap.
Gorgeous doll though, I love the way the ribs show. It's as if the doll is more human. It's not a flaw, it's personality!
