Spirit Doll 66cm Girls!

A doll like Alek Wek would be wonderful! I really like the first photo where she is not smiling, to me she looks dynamic!

The progress pictures look really good btw. I really love the body, it looks very graceful and strong. I love how they're will be a bust option, I cant wait to see what the small bust looks like.

Her hands are wonderful, very detailed and delicate!

Also, the heads are nice, I like the third and last one but I'd like to see more frowning girl dolls or neutral girl molds. I'll probably just have to wait to see what faceups will look like.
But I'll be watching this thread carefully!

 

I love how spiritdoll takes they're dolls to the next level...they look like tiny humans with how detailed they make they're dolls. I love how the girls are slim and have a nice hourglass figure whereas most companies make they're females kind of flat(on the bottom). I'm anxious to see them fully done.

 

She is lovely!! Her hands are so delicate and feminine. And OMG dimples!! I love those little dimples above her butt.

The heads are very beautiful, especially since they are all unique. I especially like the first head. It reminds me a little bit of the Unoa Lusis face. But something about her cute little nose makes her unique.

 

Very, very nice. I would perhaps have liked to see even broader hips and her being not quite so thin, but I do love her beautifully-rounded bum. And the hands are stunning. A real work of art. Well done!

Wow! Her body is awesome! I would really like it if they were to add little more abdominal detail, and make her look a bit more athletic, but feminine. This body is pretty close to the way I draw figures.

Her bum, bust and dimples really remind me of Limhwa bodies.

 

She looks amazing. Very athlectic and detailed. Her breasts and gluts are beautiful. Spirit Dolls are very impressive. I do hope that the final sculpt does not look too thin though. I am excited to see the final result. I am in love with the first head. There is omething about it that reminds me of an adult Unoa girl.

 

wow, they really took the suggestions and went with them. i can see they are trying very hard to sculpt her according to the requests. my only critique is that the legs are so long and thin in comparison to the shapely body, i would prefer them to be more in proportion and muscular. i am liking the heads that are more asian inspired....

and to krystina..... funny you should mention Alek Wek, i am having her head sculpted by the Nobility doll company, i love her face so much.

 

I agree about the legs. I think the length are okay, but they could be a little more filled out with muscle.

 

YOU MUST SPAM HER!!!! are they going to be doing her in tan resin (do they have that option?) I cant wait to see what Nobility doll does with her!

 

Wow, what a talented sculptor you have. She's absolutely gorgeous. The hands are so pretty as well. I'm definitely interested in getting her. Will the busts be available as a separate piece to buy as well, in case you want to swap looks for her? I think she's wonderful. Can't wait until she's available. I love the heads as well, although so far, no 1 appears to be calling to me the most. She's saying 'buy me' already!

 

oh don't worry i will, they have only just started this month so it may be a while, i am getting 2 heads, one in dark tan, and one in white.

 

Wow, I love this girl--she seems so life like. I'd like to see a bit more shapeliness in the thighs to go along with the arms, but really she looks great. I prefer the narrower hips since she has a cute rounded bum. And bust options! I'd love a small busted lanky girl, she could wear some really fun sleek clothes. Head one is my fave and then two and four--four would be so fun to paint--those eyes are really dramatic.

The first image, like others in this thread, made me think of Unoa xD;
I really like the second head it has a nice rounded chin yet still a slim looking face.

Somebody on the Spirit Doll forum should notify them about the pics... they could photoshop some mosaic or something over the 'evil tempty girl parts'.

God, I really LOVE this company. They have such a unique vision and a wonderful style. I adore the almond-eyed girls....so deliciously pouty! Someday I gotta get me one of their dolls... Its just love.

 

I'm glad that st least the hands and heads are up... sad that I couldn't see anything else...

Wow, really lovely, I think all the breast options are great as well. I love the whole look of her. My difficulty will be deciding which face to get.

Well, the gray doll is not really gray at all. here's what was said on forum by company

"Thank you very much for all you comments.

One thing needed to be clarified is that the gray version of the Spirit girl in the top post was not made of gray resin. It was normal resin covered with unsaturated polyester resin putty to make the surface look smooth. The skin tone of the girls will be normal, white and maybe in tanned. However, we do not have gray resin skin tone at the moment.

I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Shortly the rest of the heads with faceup will be updated. "

 

I really like the body except for the rib detailing, I think it's a little harsh and makes her look malnourished. The faceupped face is lovely though.

 

I'm really looking forward to these girls! I love my Spirit Doll boys and think the girls are going to be equally as stunning!

Wow, this is my first time taking a look at the Spirit Doll girls, and I have to say they are gorgeous~ Especially that first model in the black wig. I like them much better than the boys even... Can't wait to see these ladies on the board.

 

They look really nice and I'm eager to see the rest cast and with official faceups!

 

They're due out late June and the pictures look absolutely gorgeous! I honestly think I love all of them hehe

 

I was planning on getting a Roda in October for my birthday, but Spirit Doll Jade looks like the one! XD I've been following their progress on their BBS and I immediately liked the working sculpt they had of (what is now Jade). Cannot wait to see more!

 

I'm really loving what I see of Freesia especially, but I like all of them a great deal. Anyone have any idea of what the pricing on these will be? (I might actually be able to work out my overdose of boys! Woo hoo!)

 

Their faceup artist did such a lovely job with these girls! Ethereal, yet edgy!

They said that they will cost around the same as their boys which are $458

If they are $458 I will have a damn fit Jade is a must have and Fressia, and Lotus heads are on the menu as well. I agree about the Unoa Mocha look. I like the make-up on Jade and everything. Normally woman are cheaper than men aren't they? If so maybe they will be lower than $458.

 

Lotus is such a lovely sculpt too! XD I am so committed to getting Jade that I'm thinking I might be able to swing the money in at the end of the month.

Anyone know what resin matches Spiritdolls is good for? I love the bodies on these girls and I was wondering if they matched Volks.

 

I am crazy for Freesia and Lotuz. Now all I need to see is the other busts on body and know wig/eyes sizes

 

There might be more info in the BJD picture request forum, but you could always ask the company as well.

 

I saw that compared to SD16, Feeple and Dollmore Models, they are similar in size, so maybe some of the clothing will fit. I know they are taller but maybe some shirts and dresses will work.

I need all the info I can get on Jade. I want to start shopping for wigs, eyes, clothes, shoes, etc. I wonder what the release date is. I hope late June means after the 15th when I get paid.
