Aww so pretty. Do you choose human body or centaur? In which color did you take her?

 

According to the Junia - Animal listing under "Extra Options," she comes with a tail (though I can't see it in any of the current photos). I wonder if it is a cute deer tail?

EDIT: I was right - she has a deer tail! I wonder if they will release nude/blank photos of her like they did for Aehael.

 

i second the monique dolls in 6-7 . that's what cailyn/katie wears in fact she fits all of my 6-7 wigs, with the sole exception of leekeworld. i only ever bought one wig from them and it fit so small i accidentally ripped it trying to get it on my girls head :sob i've never been willing to try theirs again after that.

she is so pretty. i see you don't have the horn on her. was i wrong then about the horn ridge on the forhead? or do you just have it covered by the hair? and if it is there would it be possible to sand the forehead smooth do you think?

 

I'm a bit sad that I just barely missed ordering Aehael... It's my own fault though, since I contemplated about whether or not to buy her too long and just when I was about to place my order for a tan girl, I noticed that she was already sold out :/ It was 9pm here, but the listing apparently went automatically sold out when the day changed in Korea time. I did have some doubts about her and I'm still not completely sure if missing her was a good or a bad thing ^^; I do like her sculpt a lot and she'd make such a cute addition to our doll family, but I don't know... MSD size has always been so hard for me.

That being said, I also fell in love with Junia (especially her animal head) and might place an order once they add some blank pictures of the sculpt and a color comparison. I'm not sure if the Milk Cocoa skin is more grey or tan, so I want to see a comparison before deciding A friend has already asked Souldoll and they answered that they're going to add more photos soon.

@Helmi Congrats on getting your Aehael home, she looks so adorable~ That was such a speedy delivery too, seems like Souldoll is quite fast now with making the blank dolls!

 

i did the same thing. it's been a crazy week and for some reason i had the dates mixed up with another le i was looking at and when i went back yesterday to make the final decision she was already sold out she is the first soulkid sculpt that has really grabbed me in a long time and i knew i should have put her on layaway right away. so it's my own fault for dithering

 

I've also missed her, but because I was out of town seeing my father in the hospital. I spent the money I wanted to use for her to go see my dad instead. He had a car accident and broke two vertebrae, one in his neck and one in his lower back and now he is paralyzed. I'm just going to be putting this hobby on hold for now.

 

i'm sorry about your dad, family is definitely more important than dolls

 

@auntbear Yeah I know the feeling... Time zones can be really confusing at times too. From my earlier experience the companies usually close sales pages manually when they come to work the next day after the selling of some doll ends, but I should've realized that this might not be the case with all companies. My fault for leaving it to the last minute ^^; But who knows if they'd do a re-release or something at some point?

@auntbear Thank you. Yeah, I covered the forehead with bangs. I guess you could sand it down I'm not sure. I can take photo of the head.

Hello. I'm just creeping in here to excitedly mention that I might have just ordered a blank animal Junia in milk cocoa skin, with the elf head extra, hoof/tail/horn parts and the extra human legs in milk cocoa.

 

Wow, I asked Souldoll and they still let me order Aehael in sandy brown skin I'm so happy and satisfied with Souldoll's customer service, they're always so friendly and helpful! But yeah, I just placed my Aehael order (human with centaur head)~

Wow congratulations on your Aehael! That is pretty awesome of Souldoll. Aehael has a really gorgeous face, both human and centaur. (and thank you too! I am over the moon right now)

I was debating over if I wanted Aehael after she was released, and I still kind of want her, but I'm happy I waited and got Junia instead. Souldoll is upping their fantasy game these days :O I just hope they won't spit out any other need-to-have dolls this year, I cannot afford this :P

 

@safir - Isn't their customer service great? I was in a similar boat, just missed the deadline for Aehael. But they set up my order and I have two on the way! I'm actually hoping they can replace my Soom Ambers who are... interesting to stand and sooo big. All these fantasy minis make me happy. I'd actually love to get Junia's hoof legs in WS for my incoming girls but that will probably be the popular parts.

@Psycho Sukafu Yeah their customer service is just awesome! Great that you were able to order Aehael too~ My gf has Soom Amber and Aehael reminded us of her, those ears are so cute MSD size is usually not my thing, but Aehael and Junia are really lovely... This could be dangerous to my wallet though if Souldoll keeps this up XD

 

Hmmm, Souldoll's answer to requests for nude full-body photos of Junia was "we don't have the photos and don't plan to get them." Soom very often seems to have this very same issue, too. I find it really baffling - do they no longer have the doll model in their possession? Do they actually ship it off to a pro photography for photos and don't get it back? Because I can't see any reason why they can't just whip out their phones (and I know some smart phones take amazing photos) and snap a photo of the doll.

 

I have a Aehael human on layaway very excited for her! Turning her into a unicorn trapped in a human's body (based on the movie and book The Last Unicorn). I am LOVING Animal Junia too! Have you folks found great seamstresses for custom made souldoll kid clothes???

 

She is so awesome! I'm waiting for my Aehael (with human head)..) it's a pity that Souldoll didn't give her junia's hooves

Personally I'd love to get Junia as well, but as Granado has just released the doll head on the body I wanted it, there went my doll funds. And seeing how I currently don't have a job those won't fill up much in the future.
I hope I can get her last-minute thought.

@Snowy Thank you :3 I'm still in the progress of figuring out what kind of look to give her - she was totally a purchase made because of the gorgeous sculpt and I don't have any character for her yet... I've started looking at different wig and eye options and try to think of a name, everything is still quite blurry but I'm sure I'll figure out something

The Christmas season is definitely dangerous time for our funds since the doll companies come up with many new dolls and awesome events >.< There's still plenty of time to order Junia, so hopefully you can get her last minute!

Once again Souldoll is going to murder my wallet. Any idea if Souldoll can/will gender swap their dolls? I really like one of the girls because she would work really well for a male character. It looks like the necks are different sizes so I wonder if I might be out of luck.

 

I know this is kinda off topic, but seeing as you are souldoll owners.
I was wondering where you would find vito sized(52 cm)clothes . Ive had my poor lester for some years now and he has yet to have a full outfit. ive heard alicecollections may do special sizes but Im not 100% helps?

 

Ugh~ Is anyone thinking of ordering human Junia? I would love to just get the extra parts (hoof legs + horns) in WS but can't post a split since they are deemed 'bonus' items.

 

@Reinameron Thank you! Congrats for getting her. I have the human head and I was thinking to get the body for her. It would have been interesting to have hoofs as legs on aehael.

And congrats everyone getting Souldoll dolls! And getting aehael even after event ended.

@safir: Yeah, I can understand that. It's the Souldoll-effect in my case ^^° I think Souldoll makes some of the prettiest / most handsome molds in the MSD size that are out there. Recently they are trying VERY HARD to proof that. I also adore the fantasy parts they've created so far.

Curious to see if they'll add a toll or two later in the event. There is still the tarot series to consider...
But maybe they'll switch off between that one and the fairy tale one? There was a tarot doll in summer after all and last winter there was Berial :3

I also still hope for Junia. I'm trying to get some doll funds through some sales in and off the hobby. We'll see if she and I are meant to be. If I get her, it will most likely be the animal one in white skin and the elf head. -^^- *has plans*

 

My Soulkids aren't at home, but I'll ask my friend to check this for you. I have a boy and a girl on the nl bodies.

 

I don't know if I am allowed to mention this here, but I am hosting a NS Junia Animal.ver split since I really want the elf head in NS, along with a small bust piece in NS, but I don't need the rest of it. (Damn you souldoll, not letting us order the head on it's own!)

 

@Clorista: I once asked them if a change is possible and they replied positive - unless of course it's a limited doll. E.g. you wouldn't be allowed to get Junia as a boy from Souldoll. You'd have to either buy Junia as she is and then order her a boy body or get the head in a split and put it on a boy body.
If it's a regular - like Shaun or Hunoi or Elden or Asen or anyone like that there shouldn't be a trouble. Just ask them via Q&A and how you should order to get them like that :3

 

My first thought when seeing souldoll was "no way! I am never getting one!"
And then I fell in love with them short efter.

I first thought Shaun was nice but now I like Joelle D better! Might get him one day

A few days ago ordered Bonnie with special makeup. But I'm still wondering - how do they do custom makeup? Is it good, does it always looks exactly like you asked? And if you have any pics of their non-basic makeup - I'd be glad to see.
I know Souldoll always do their best with makeup, but since I've never had an experience of ordering firm's custom makeup, just wanna make sure that usually everything's cool. ^^

Hi everyone! After 2 years away from the hobby I'm finally getting the passion back thanks to Junia! She's going to be my first MSD. I'm pretty excited to have so much inspiration and motivation and I can't wait to have her.

I asked Souldoll if I could buy the heel feet as the option is not available on the animal version page and they said that they are not available in milk cocoa. I don't want to annoy them but why are they offering the heel option on the human page without clarifying that it's not available in milk cocoa then?

Edit : I'll try to clarify with them, maybe I didn't understood correctly because I find this weird.

 

that does seem odd, i went and looked at the page too, and can't find anywhere that says the heel feet aren't available in milk cocoa (not that i was planning to get that skin color, but still odd...)

 

I got a reply. 2 actually! They explained that the human and animal versions are made in differeny factory and it's why the animal version don't have the same options but then they sent me another message saying that they reconsidered and are now offering the heel feet for the animal version too.

I'm very happy, as it's a unique color I really wanted them if I prefer my Junia with human legs.

Thank you @auntbear yeah they have an amazing customer service! It's my second order with them and I won't be surprised if they become my favorite company as I love their aesthetic and friendly services.

Have they ever re-released old limited edition in the past? I'm kinda disappointed that I missed Aehael, and Death Devonia.

@manabusama looks like there's not a lot of Yarn owners who post pictures on the web, even on flickr there's not a lot of pictures. It's a really beautiful sculpt though!

 

He's on my wish list (for now) because of an anime series (Dramatical Murder) that I have become pretty crazy about! I haven't made up my mind yet if Yarn could make a good Aoba character or not. But for now he's the only sculpt I have found that could work.

 

@manabusama I never watched the anime but I really like the game. That's a pretty cool project. I'd like to see a cute Clear in bjd form! ^^ Yarn might actually work pretty well for a Aoba, his lips are fuller though but sometimes the right faceup can do miracle.

 

I think I'd be to shy to play the game I mean, it's that kinda game isn't it ? I've just watched the anime so far and googled for some pictures.

But the game, can you get it in english or japanese only?

I know many like Clear. It'd be cool to see him as a BJD. I like him too 1st Noiz then 2nd Aoba then 3rd Clear. And 4th would be Mink.

Noiz is my favorite! I like the Noiz x Aoba pairing very much Noiz will be the first one I'll get. And I'm thinking about going for the Joelle and Joelle .D sculpt. Noiz and Aoba is on my wishlist for 2016.

I'm not aiming for the anime styled type characters. I want mine to look more realistic.

 

Noiz was my favorite until I did Clear story. I can't wait to see your Noiz and Aoba. I hope you will show them to us! ^^ I looove Joelle D. sculpt and keep searching a way to create a character for him in my story but it's always too forced so it's not a good idea.

I already have plans for my Junia and I want to get Maa.Ba in the future. I really love these Souldoll with different facial expression.

 

My 2016 bjd plans have changed a bit because of Joelle .D and Yarn. But I still need to order my KDF An first. He's been pushed aside far too many times now

I won't be commissioning anyone for the original costumes. Maybe in the future, but not the first thing I'll do. I'd like to order and mix up something of my own but still suits their characters.

But I will ask SoulDoll to make them face-ups in the SoulDoll style, but that still looks like them.

Maa.Ba Is pretty cool I like it that SoulDoll are not shy to make dolls with different facial expressions. Many companies only dare to be on the safe side and sculpt only what they are used to. I see too many dolls with open eyes and hardly any smile!

I also have a girl on my wish list. A Yeon-Bee. And Vito Lester. I've liked SoulDoll a long time. I just have not had any reason to order anything before now!

 

I love the junia head with elf ears. Will see if i can get it for a decent price second hand.. i only saw one for 150.. for a gift this is really high. Especially when the normal head are sold for 100 on the page. But this is only my opinion i think

 

After looked at Souldoll's webpage again I'm feeling certain that Junia is going to be my first doll from them.
Her animal version is perfect to round out my msd elementals. I'm glad they have such a good layaway program and that she's available for so long cause the holidays have me strapped right now. The only thing I wish is that her animal head didn't have a different mouth but she's still gorgeous and I love the ears.

 

I am totally getting a Joelle D at some point. I really didn't like Soul dolls before. But now I have ordered one Soul Doll Vito and I really want a Joelle D at one point. I really love seeing all your owner pictures! So nice.

And now that Soul Doll is coming out with more new fantasy dolls they are more popular I think

 

@Mariluvmakoto It's true that fantasy dolls seems to be really popular! I don't even know if Souldoll is considered a "popular" company? When I think about popular company I always think about Volks, Soom and Luts. But I'm sure that if they continue to release such gorgeous fantasy doll, they are going to be my favorite! ^^

I'm so happy to see interest in Junia. I really think she is a gorgeous doll. She reawakened my interest in the hobby, so for me she is pretty special. I hope to see her in all the different colors here from lots of different people. ^^

Souldoll fan too they have such amazing sculpts! I've recently fell in love with Jiu. I adored Flett previously, but unfortunately started liking her less after seeing more owner pics (a bit devastating).
Not sure if it was asked before, but does anyone know if maybe souldoll will give in the future the option of tan skin for the regular dolls? I can't stop thinking how stunning Jiu would look like that!

I've been watching Souldoll for so long, but I love many of their sculpts (cause i love mature minis) but I can't decide on which I like the most!!!
I've had a tan Souldoll Gana (her sculpt is so unique!) on my wishlist for the longest time, but it didn't seem like they would give the option for tan skin anytime soon (also my plans changed)

I've been eyeing the female N.L body and I was wondering what people thought of it? Poseability,etc. Also it seems like its taller than 43cm (listed on the site) from the comparison photos I've seen. Is this true??

 

I haven't gotten my Aehael yet, so I can't tell you anything from personal experience, but I can share with you a body review on YouTube that sold me on the body. I hope it helps!

 

Ah that helps a ton! Her reviews are the best! I am quite sold on the body, but I have yet to take the plunge because I am still quite attached to the body of my current girl. (this may be an excuse to get an entire new doll hehe) Can't wait to see your Aehael! Please do share pics!

Oooh, interesting!~ I guess maybe they changed her name at some point... Or maybe the human version is Aehael and the Centaur is Rahael, and they just forgot to change the name on the headback of the human version?

Also, I took a peek at your Flickr photos and I've gotta ask: Are the magnets that attach the horn to the head very strong and secure?

 

I think it's secure ((than Luts unicon . But the tail is too heavy, it's need carefully .
