I'm happy to introduce my boy ^^ Crow Nightmare Sprite ^^
Soom is very good company, right time, right delivery and wonderful parts.
I'm happy with new tiny size and new skin.



About eyes, I had bought 8mm for him. But I wait he come back from spa. I will test with him. I feel 8mm is better for me because I have 6mm but no flat.

Er, hi everyone! I am Gabe. I currently have a Kremer on layaway, though it will probably not be April or May until I can bring him home. He is going to be my first resin BJD, so I am all excited.

Do you think Soom will ever do one of those free-choice events on the Faeries?

He's here! Eep!! My pretty Metato is home, and he is simply stunning. The wig is amazing, the clothes and jewelry are lovely, and I couldn't be happier. *dances around* I'll get piccies up asap.

 

Finally finished my hybrid fairy. She's a grey Nyer but with the bee sprite wings and legs. I'm not happy with her feet and although I LOVE her face, glitter smudged without me realizing it and I sealed it. Not sure I can wipe it without messing up her whole face so until I feel like fixing it, it's staying. I'm thinking of getting just black glass beads for her eyes... either way, I don't think these will be her permanent eyes.

Also... anyone else absolutely HATE the antenna?! I'm going to have to glue them in but I don't want to yet if I'm just going to have to redo her face. They will not stay in! Grr.

I think about her faceup, because if you want to use with a bee wing, I think a little yellow on her faceup is OK, and her eyes maybe darker and smaller (?)
The antenna is special part of her, why do you hate them
I remember she have a human face without the antenna, you can use this face?

I discover MiniGem boy can wear:
Barbie Ken clothes: Shirt, T-shirt, Pant... Barbie Ken is tall, so that pant can use for this MiniGem Boy.
Soliders 1:6 figure: Shirt, T-shirt, underwear... Pant and jean pant I haven't a chance to wear, but I think that clothes have a little short.

In my image above, that is shirt of Solider 1:6 figure ^^
Very fix and sexy. I will continue to find and buy them in future.
I will give more information for everyone in this topic.

I'm just annoyed about the glitter 'cause it's smudged on her cheek where it isn't supposed to be and looks bad in some lights. I don't think you can see what I'm talking about in the pictures though.

I love the antenna, they just do NOT stay in like they are supposed to. I"m going to have glue them in I suppose. She did have a human face but I sold it since I had no intention of ever using it.

Jerry -Thanks for posting the link to the eye shop, for my tiny dolls I need glass eyes for them and I was having a hard time trying to find some. I hope to get some for my Kremer as well and some different clothes other than his slumber outfit.

You know how you take 400 photos of your doll and not one of them comes out right? Well, today was not one of those days. You only need one! Yay! My Crow's eyes arrived today from Dreaming Tree Studio - 8mm with a slightly smaller iris (AD2) - and I tried them out. They work great and they're very impressive, especially for the price ($4 plus shipping)! Now I just have to decide between these and red ones...and the gift ones (a deep pink - prolly not)... and the 6mm light purple oval paperweight ones (which work great - no gapping). Too many choices!

 

Aren't the DT eyes wonderful? Sleet (Soom Auber) wears a pair of custom zombie metallic ice ones and I just love them. I've also got DT eyes in several of my other dolls. For tiny eyes, DT gives you the widest choices at killer prices.

 

Oh wow, those eyes just gleam. They look great on him!

 

It's been a while since Soom released their last Faery Legend. Don't you think the new one should have been already shown? I hope it will be a new boy >.<

 

I hope they haven't stopped creating new Faery Legends. I quite love them. Think they might ever do one of those choice things with the Faery Legends? I'd love a chance to get Crow from them.

I managed to take a few decent pictures of my new (secondhand) Kremer boy. He has no name yet, nor wigs or clothes... I can't decide what I would like him to look like! But I love him already.

It seems a new faery release is finally up It's a boy so I'm safe. Is it just me or are the photos quite "bad" since there aren't really any were you could see his face properly? o.o For those who are thinking of purchasing it might've been nice to include at least one closer shot of the face...

On another note, lovely faeries in this thread

 

He is adorable, but my Kremer is all I can handle and I don't want to have nightmares if I get another male his size.

 

I don't like him at all so thankfully I'm safe until a new boy is released xD

Yes... I find his face too femenine even for a doll by Soom. And I really don't like those wings xD

I like the look of him, especially his wings. I really like him in the green resin. Fortunately for me, I have no character for him so I'm safe. I was, however, evil and sent a link to him to a friend who's entire crew is based on nature creatures. *muwahahahahahahaha*

 

Ooh, an ent sprite! That would make for great photoshoots in our dwarf willow.

He sort of looks like Topaz IMO.

Are we going to have a run on ents now like the recent run on centaurs? First Leeke has their ent girls, now this. I'm going to be really broke if there's a run on ents.

 

He's really fascinating, but I agree with the thought that his pictures are poor. There are no good detail shots of his face or his faery feet! The feet especially are all in shadow, which is disappointing.

 

Hmmm Crow is such a pretty mold, I wanted to get him but I don't like fantasy colors...why can't they offer all skin types like Iplehouse does?? I wanted him in white skin and seeing these pictures makes me regret not getting him!

I was waiting for a new boy and finally! but again, why not white skin??? or tan....would love to get a tan faery legend doll I like his face but not enough to buy him in normal skin.

 

Oh man.... he'd be so perfect for my Bee queen... darn you SOOM! I hate greeeeeennnnnnn so much... but those wings are so coooolllll... Oh and I'm broke as crap haha. Man, not cool SOOM!

 

I like him, but probably not enough to buy him. The pictures do not show his fairy feet well, and I don't like how much his ears look like antlers. I do like his face and wings though. I own a non fairy Mini Gem and as her posing isn't the best I'm not buying another if I don't love it. I like the normal better than white, but not as much as the sienna tone they made Labas in! I want Labas in his original sienna or Metato in that color. I like Crow in gray more than I thought I would, too. If they made Boehm in normal I would want one, but this new guy isn't doing it for me.

I just had an amazing thought! Soom is one of the sponsors for DollNorth at AnimeNorth (which starts tomorrow!). Would it be beyond awesome if they brought their newest fairy as part of their display? *gasps*

 

I wish Soom would do a Faery Legend FCE. They haven't done one yet. But not until I pay some things off.

 

I am crossing my fingers they will do a Faery Legend FCE sometime, hopefully in the fall or so!

 

Same for me! And if would be great if they let choose different kind of wings for different faeries! >.<

 

I'd be doomed if they did a free choice event... lol

 

Oh man, mix and match wing/foot combinations with all the different heads. And there would have to be two Faery FCE (one boy, one girl) because the boy parts don't fit on the girl bodies. I would be so broke. Happy but broke.

... And now I could really go for a grey Metato. That would look awesome with his wings/feet. Maybe I'll go make a not-subtle suggestion on the Q&A board about doing faery FCEs.

 

Gonna delurk for a second to agree with the wish for a fairy fce especially if they made a female version of the new one o.o;

Yes - a FCE would be amazing especially if there were a range of skin tones available. I really want a male faery, but so far there hasn't been a sculpt/skin combination that really grabbed me

 

I'm personally sad I missed out on Crow, and I would love a chance to get Kremer's full set wig.

 

I agree on the FCE! I'd love to own a little fairy but the sculpts I really like are all older ones~

 

Sharing some spam of my bee sprite... she's sitting on my little dollie cupboard keeping me company while I craft/sew.

 

She is such a cutie! What a good companion to keep you company.
