Shoushou Doll Waiting Room!

From what i understand the shipment they got was just Nikos? But i could be wrong. I will say i've seen a few people on instagram posting their new nikos these passed few days but i have not seen new posts with the boys so i'm really unsure

I will of course take so many pictures! I may even do an actual box opening video on insta (my handle is coolcatsodalite over there) but it depends on how many spoons i have that day.

@vicemage i got the open eye smiling face with the beast body. Her little hooves really got me lol

 

The hooves are super adorable! I can't wait to see yours (I also got the beast body, couldn't resist the hooves!)

 

I can confirm that it's only been the Nikos who have been shipped. BJDiva's VIP page has mentioned working with ShouShou for changing the way the boys are shipped as it was expensive and vulnerable to damage (they did a test run (edit: for the arc boys)).

 

I ordered shoushou’s Rabbit Doudou 40 cm girl back in March ^^ I was told the wait for her should be around 6 months but I’m expecting delays.
Nonetheless, I’m very excited! She’ll be my first ‘anime’ sculpt doll ^^

 

I got an email this morning that my Niko is in at BJDivas! She only has two payments left and I'm working overtime this week, I think I'm going to go ahead and pay her off so she can come home.

 

I got the same email this morning! I have the same number of payments left, too, so I'm going for the early payoff too

At long last, she made it home! 16 months almost to the day. Her name is Nutmeg!

I did not expect her head to be so massive! The wig i had set aside didn't fit so for now she has her resin one

 

Nutmeg is so adorable! Love her dress. I didn't realize that her feet have heels on them.

I asked about the boys while I was replying to BJDivas about my Niko's layaway and they told me the boys have been shipped as well, it's just that everything is coming in very slowly.

 

Thank you! I love the little heels. And i think they help a bit with balance. She's pretty tight and a bit kicky but once she's balanced she stands like a champ.

I got the regularly-scheduled invoice for mine, but I haven't gotten the invoice for the full payoff + shipping yet.

 

I got that a couple days ago and emailed just to check what to do with it; they told me to ignore it and they'd cancel it when they sent the totaled invoice. This morning I got emails from PayPal for both the cancelled one and the final one. They're still super understaffed, so I'd guess you'll get yours soon

Yay! I got mine, too! Lol, I forgot that when doing layaway with BJDivas, they update every invoice with the tracking number. That was a flood of emails making sure I knew she was on her way

She's out for delivery a day early! Which is super lucky, because normally I'm out all day on Fridays and the delivery date was Saturday, but I switched to being out Saturday this week and was trying to figure out what to do about the delivery.

My girl should be home tomorrow- she's at the local distribution center so only one more stop before she gets on the delivery truck!

Called it! I got a message from one of my housemates that they'd brought my box in while I was between two stops for my afternoon errands. I finally got to unbox her after putting stuff away and taking a quick shower (it is SO. HOT.), so here she is!

Her clothes are a little sad for now, since I'm moving and already sent my bin of clothes to the new place... though I'm not sure even there I have much that would fit her, she is CHONK compared to all my slim minis. Really glad I didn't start sewing anything ahead of time!

 

Ah, with the new holiday it looks like my girl is no longer being delivered today. Tracking says tomorrow but I'm surprised given tomorrow is Sunday. We'll see?

Edit: Well, tracking may have told me it would be tomorrow, but when I came home from work she was there waiting for me! She's so cute!

 

I ordered my niko in august. Does anyone who ordered her during that time got her ?

 

I ordered through BJDivas at the start of August; I know they had a large influx of orders due to the announced discontinuation so it took some time to get everything ready, and I know BJDivas got a huge shipment in that they're possibly still going through. (I don't know if you ordered via them, Taobao, or an agent, and I don't know how sales through other avenues are progressing.)

 

Yes, very recently. For what it's worth, mine's normal skin with beast legs. She's worth the wait, so hang in there!

Still waiting for my boy from July, but I have a feeling it'll still be a while. (and my Arc Doll Zilang for that matter... 13 months and counting...)

 

This is good to know. My roommate and I also ordered ours in August and I'm getting antsy waiting XD

 

I ordered just the head via BJDivas. I have never wait this long just for a head without a faceup .

 

I know as of four days ago, they were still receiving shipments from Shoushou. I heard they (Shoushou, that is) got a bit swamped with the orders, as well as having issues arranging shipping. Apparently it's not actually all that easy for an individual to ship internationally from China, and they need to use transport companies, which do things like opening every inner box and repacking everything. Some dolls do just take a long time to show up, but yours will come!

 

I ordered July 9th and still haven't received anything despite orders that were both paid for and ordered later than mine arriving with their US owners. It's officially 12 months now since I placed this order and I must say I will never order with BJDivas again. This experience has been so upsetting and terrible. People who ordered later than me and paid later than me are getting their dolls delivered and I don't even have a shipping notice.

 

Fwiw, my July Shoushou order is still in limbo somewhere too. We know from communications on facebook that Shoushou sent all of the dolls to BJDivas, but they haven't all arrived to BJDivas yet. My August order contained no extra heads or limbs, so it isn't like they sent me something that should have gone to you (I looked back in the thread and saw you have her with all the heads/parts) because you ordered first- they simply are sending out what they have in-hand. It's very frustrating, I'd rather have had my July order first, but it comes down to external factors like shipping companies and even what's in the next box to be opened and inspected.

Hopefully she'll be home to you soon and her cute face makes it all worthwhile

My niko head just shipped from BJDivas

 

If it soothes anyone, I also have not gotten anything yet from BJDivas about the Gouhuai head I've ordered. But, It's totally transport's problem than BJDivas's or ShouShou. I mean between having to ship out all those ArcDolls, Nikos, etc. I could only imagine the problems with transport carriers. I'm still beyond excited for him thought, as he's going to shell a character.

My Niko has been stuck in Chicago for 2 months now.. The tracking is just repeating the same statuses over and over the last 2 months. I messaged bjdivas about 5 days ago to ask if they can check with the postal service and maybe start an investigation, but I have yet to hear back from them. I know they're very busy but I hope they'll reply soon because I'm really getting nervous.. She's nowhere near getting close to me

 

Well...I was apparently a bit pre-mature. My tracking has now said "label created, usps awaiting item" for 10 days now...

 

Mine just updated to say it's left Chicago after almost... 20 something days so I can only hope USPS is actually handing it over to Canada Post and I'll see her soon.

She's in Canada Post's data base now so maybe it's good news and she'll be in my hands soon.

 

My Niko arrived!! She came with a card instead of the metal plate others have gotten? She's so cute I can't wait to get her sent off for her face up, also thinking of going with white and gold instead of the pink...

The new order period for niko on bjdivas just started... I am thinking about putting one on layaway. Though i wish i caught the last ordering period cuz she's only comes as human or fawn... An parts are split. But human body comes with new heel feet/shoes. (For 340... While the fawn body comes with tail instead of the extra feet/shoes. But is $30 more for having fawn legs...)

Im having a hard time choosing human or fawn cuz i kinda want both lol.

 

AAAA I didn't realize that the order had reopened!! I just submitted my order for a tan faun and a ws faun body. I had to submit a layaway so I'm hoping that the tan nikos don't run out before they get back to me

I also took over someone’s full Goumeng and Gouhuai head order a few months ago. I’m really excited for those two. I’ve already bought clothes, I just hope they fit.

My poor Niko's wig was too small and I haven't yet found a suitable replacement in the right size (heads up, she wears SD size wigs- 8-9"). She has some clothes on the way though

It's been... about 13 months waiting on my Goudan at this point? He's had stuff waiting for him for a while Hopefully it fits.

 

I’m a little worried about Shoushou dolls turn around wait now I’ve been seeing a lot of people not getting their dolls in a timely matter. I ordered a Rabbit 40cm doll 6 months ago and was told it would be a 6 month wait. Hopefully she’s finished in the near coming months ^^’

 

I think just as much of an issue as being finished is shipping. I know from talking to BJDivas that the big boys have been on their way to them, but... obviously, none of us here have gotten ours yet, so they must still be being held up somewhere. Oversees shipping is a hot mess

 

It's been almost a year since I order Gou Huai.

I heard parts of Asia has closed some shipping ports due to the virus.

 

My head I ordered last July is finally in transit in the states. USPS also seems to be having issues (package was lost for a bit and is now moving behind schedule) in addition to the overseas shipping.

I've joined the wait for Niko with BJDivas on 8/9!

I'm curious to see how long the wait time for this ordering period will be since they've cut down some of her resin features (no wig, no clear resin parts) to help with production times.

 

I'm also still waiting on my Shoushou heads from BJDivas, I think the order is from around last July? Hoping to see them before the holidays. BJDivas has reassured me that they are on the way, but that it will take some more time.

Also, for those interested in niko still, I saw that Clover Singing has them available for order as long as it's placed before 9/30.

 

I checked my order status on clover singing and it said my Todoudou had shipped on the 14th October
I never got a shipping notice, but the package was 'accepted' by Yanwen post only today, according the tracking so perhaps I will get a notice soon. I ordered her on March 14 ^^

 

My I-stock Niko just shipped from BJDivas! I'm actually using this ones body for another artist head and will be selling off the B face.
Or I might keep it for more expressions with my other Niko I have on the way XD

 

I paid the shipping invoice for my Goudan this morning! It's been 15 months... he has all his stuff ready and waiting for him, and I can't wait for that tracking number

A couple fun facts about her, if anyone was wondering: She is much shorter than MDD! But the normal resin color matches DD flesh really well. She came with bunny ears, a tail, and three pairs of hands. Her hands have an easy changing system that I really appreciate. Also her little toes have a space between so she can wear sandals
