40–49cm Dolls Shoushou Doll Niko

I had this girl on my wishlist from the first day I saw her, and when BJDivas announced she was going to be discontinued, I had to jump on a layaway for her! She arrived safely today after I paid her off early, and I'm thrilled to have her home




Pillow! It seems like more and more newer dolls are coming in the foam cutouts, but the pillows get a lot of use when I carry dolls to meets so it's nice when I get one.


Great packing here, all the extra parts are wrapped up really nicely in that foam stuff, and are also doubling as packing material to keep the main doll stable for shipping too.





The metal CoA is so cute! (Sorry her clear hooves aren't going to show up very well in any of these photos...)

So... I'm in the process of moving and sent all my spare doll clothes to the new location because "Oh I've got a couple extra things for her to wear." Turns out this girl has some booty butt cheeks on her and the dress I held back absolutely did not fit! (I barely got it over her chest, she's much more on the classic "MSD" scaling than all my slim minis.) Thankfully I did find a skirt that I was able to coax over her tush, but even that was a struggle... so glad I didn't start sewing for her yet!


Am I the only one who didn't realize she came with extra hands? This was such a nice little surprise in the package! (And yes, that is the unicorn horn that's only supposed to come with the human body, I made a special request because I wanted a unicorn faun, since I already have a goat faun, and I'm very grateful they were able to honor that request for me )



The two halves of the resin wig, I plan to have some fun painting this!


And the tail, also going to be fun to paint! (I'll likely also make a fiber one at some point, it's so heavy but so cute.)

I've heard that she's going to be rereleased without the wig and the clear parts, and I believe BJDivas ordered extra for stock, plus a lot of people were like me and jumped in before the discontinuation, so there's bound to be some chances for you to get one

She's actually a floof tabby, no extra colors, all extra floof I thought she was going to be a giant Maine Coon when I adopted her, but she's more of a mini instead. (The call and tux were both napping elsewhere, but at least one always joins the box openings!)

 

Nope. She's all brown tabby, she'd need some orange to be a tortie (and add white for cali). It might be the lighting in the last photo that's making her look like she has a little ginger in her; I have red curtains in the room where I did the box opening, so late-day light has a red tint to it.

 

Oh I bet she's adorable! Funny thing, the first photo I saw of Bea, I thought she was a torbie, because the photo wasn't that great and I didn't look at it too closely, and it wasn't until she got into rescue with my housemate and I saw her in person that I realized she was a longhair tabby instead. (And it was a month or so later that I asked what her adoption fee would be!)
