Note: This photoshoot can be called the conclusion to a small arc of Legend of the Five Rings (L5R) tabletop RPG-based series I've made. Beginning with the introduction of Adhara/Bayushi Kaguya's injury in "Bitter Medicine", and a bit of RnR in "Names", now you see her with the scars from said injury. It's also my first foray into temp glue scarring. Setup by Yela Gatchalian-David, on Flickr Thanks so much for looking, and if you've followed this mini arc for so long, I salute you! The two hands sticking out have me in tears. XD Kinda looks like someone waving their hands up and down going 'ooooooh scaryyyy' A beautiful conclusion though~ And those scars, they look awesome!
Darn this whole series is so cool!! Love your creativity with the set up - what is that wood panel thing? Are they actual door panels?
@LonelyArtist I found the view from the side pretty hilarious too, hence I had to take a picture! @Lolitia Thank you very much! @willowspell The panels are actually just cardboard, made to look like wood (I have almost zero woodworking skills or tools). I'm documenting the progress of their making in this project journal. COVID-19 lockdowns meant I couldn't replenish my varnish supply yet, hence only one screen has the origami backing attached.
@AntarelNefertili Wow thank you for making a thread on this!! and yeah covid got me stuck too, and this came in really handy cause I just ordered a bunch of craft materials and cardboard XD was looking to make stuff and this is great inspiration! Thank you for sharing
@Sianserais Her scars were actually just white glue, tinted with powdered chalk pastels. The "base" started off as very close to the doll's skin color, but I progressively added darker flesh pigment as I built up the texture.
