Large A Lion's Discipline (Granado Michael)

Apr 5, 2020

    1. Note: For those who are familiar with The Legend of the Five Rings, otherwise known as L5R, he is styled as one of the characters I created using its RPG mechanics: a bushi, or warrior, from the Lion Clan.
If you think all this is so serious, well, another cat entered the setup and sniffed around before snagging her claw on the makeshift zabuton, taking him down with her. (I caught him on time, no worries.) :P

The other photoshoots in this series:
      Part 1 (previous): Bitter Medicine
      Part 1.5: THIS
Part 2: Names, or Ai Ai Gasa
Part 3 (end): Scarred but Unbroken

    10. Phenomenal! I adore the set pieces, and the doll itself is fantastic! it's so fun to see an L5R character, the game/series has a huge nostalgia factor for me.

Do you mind if I ask what you've taken the pictures with? The quality is so crisp!

    11. Hi! It's great to know there are other L5R enthusiasts in the community. :love All but one of my dolls have L5R RPG counterparts, but not all of them have been photographed as such.

I use a Sony DSC-H400. It's not the fanciest DSLR out there (you're just stuck with the kit lens), but it's good enough for my hobby needs. :)
