Sorry for the delay, got them late Wednesday night and then work picked up the next day and I didn't get home till it was dark haha.

Honestly ended up taking photos mostly of my Philip and Agnes because most of the elf outfits were intended for them haha. Took some photos of the girls but they are face-up less and will be for awhile, so they're not super interesting to look at right now haha.







I took a chance on the Pale Rose skintone for Flora and I'm going to have to wait till my Marina arrives (they're getting sent to the faceup artist together since I think I'm gonna body swap them) to decide whether I'm fully onboard. I tend to be picky about skintones and anything too light gets the side eye haha.

And your Elf outfits look so wonderful. I got the two in the top photo also but haven't put it all on anyone yet. The fabrics and trims are all so well chosen. So pretty on your crew! They really are all spectacular! Everyone is looking fine and elfish.

 

I broke down and got a dragon Galdren 1/4th boy with face up in peach cream skin. no outfit or wig but I did get the dragon eyes.
*makes a cozy little dragon nest in the corner to wait in.*

 

I forgot to post here when I ordered Ayla back in August, but I've just received a shipping notice for her!

 

My Marie from April shipped a few days ago and cleared customs earlier. No idea what the fees will be on her, kinda nervous. So excited to finally see her though!

 

Aaand my MSD Matthew just shipped! That was unexpected! Maybe he will be my Christmas boy

Wow SJ must really be trying to keep on track, since for SD size dolls with clothes I think they're currently tracking at 8-9-10 months for shipping.

Just got my Vanessa, 6 corset busts, and 2 Versailles outfits today! Unfortunately SJ sent me the Madame du Bary set instead of the Madame du Pompadour set, so I have to let them know on Q&A. Hopefully I'll be able to ship the du bary set back to them on their dime and they'll send me the du pompadour set, but likely will be January.

I love SJ's ideas and ambition, but I hope they pull back a bit this upcoming year in order to catch up.

@Quirked She's lovely! Can't wait to see more of these girls roll in. I imagine I won't be seeing my Marina and Margot till at least March or April next year haha, so ill have to live vicariously.

 

@Wittyilynamed Congrats on receiving your package! You have so much new stuff to play with, I'm envious!

I agree. I would suggest they rotate between old sculpts and new sculpts each month to make it more manageable. Or better yet, mix both old and new in smaller doses especially now that they are offering all available (human) body options off the bat, and both SD and MSD sizes of sculpts at once recently. With their workload lately, I hope this means they're growing their team -- not grinding the current one into exhaustion. It looks to me they need as many tailors as they can get.

@Quirked She's a beauty even with the bare face. I love her sculpt even more now

 

@Wittyilynamed : Thank you! And congrats on your arrival, but bummer on receiving the incorrect outfit. Hopefully SJ will get that resolved (and also ship your Marina and Margot) soon!

@sageyufi : She really is -- she's so cute in person!

I also am looking forward to more dolls rolling in -- I just love seeing how everyone styles their dolls.

 

@sageyufi yeah I think they tried that last year with the monthly dolls and then we hit march and feels like the ambition hit and they left that idea in the dust Still crossing my fingers that SJ will re-release Nadia in cocoa brown.

@Quirked thankfully they sent out the right outfit friday and it should get delivered today! They also said they'd pay me back after I ship it back to Korea, almost wish I could ask them if there was a US customer I could send the outfit too instead, save everyone some shipping costs

I checked in with Jay on the status of my orders. My Ayla, whom I ordered last August with clothes—is estimated to be ready by mid-March, and clothes from September’s Fall Clothing Sale by mid-April.

That’s a 7 months’ wait, bummer…

 

I don't know how true this is or not, but my Marina girl may be on her way home to me soon! I am going to try and record a box opening.

 

I waited 7 months for my doll with clothes. I wish they'd updated the estimated time on their site, then it would feel less disappointing.

 

I am in the same boat, only with Edmund and Margot. Also with the Fall clothing sale - I thought at least that would come sooner! Thanks for posting this, @sageyufi , now I know there will still be some waiting, patience, more waiting and more patience ...

 

SHE'S HERE (22/08/2025 - 06/02/2026)! Her box is massive, but I understand why. The bottom end of her tail is quite a bit larger than I had guessed from the promo images.

Is there a SartoriaJ specific thread that would be better for me to post these pictures to? I struggle to navigate this website, if I am honest lol.

This was my first experience with SJ and whilst I am super happy about her I do find two things odd - she is strung very loosely which makes her flop around like an actual fish (not a fan lol) and I find her neck to be extremely long whilst her shoulders are quite narrow making hybriding a bit harder than anticipated.

I personally prefer the aesthetics of the Supia Heeji head (blonde) than my Golden Era Clara (brunette) - even if the long neck is more noticeable I feel it fits the shoulder dimensions better. Thoughts?

I hope this was helpful for anyone else trying to hybrid or just dying of anticipation for theirs to arrive

 

This happened again! I cannot log in to my SJ account!! Do they reset accounts after non-activity??? I am so frustrated because I ordered Leo already which is linked to my account. Does anyone have same problem?

 

@Faerie_Soup - Oh, nice to see! I agree that the neck seems a little long for those heads, but they're both lovely choices! I'd probably go with Heeji too, though. Congrats!
Box openings with multiple photos are supposed to go in the Box-Opening/Arrival Gallery, but you can also post her in the SJ large doll thread (assuming she's the 1/3rd version).

@Lady Maeve - I don't believe so? I've never had a problem and just logged into my account now. Sorry I can't help.

 

@Faerie_Soup The mermaid body is absolutely gorgeous! So happy to finally see owner pics of this beauty especially with the pale rose resin! I also really like your Supia head on the body--looks like a match made in heaven.

 

@Faerie_Soup love these pictures! Maybe she is loose to prevent breaking in transit? Hopefully getting her to the tension you like won't be too much of a struggle. Congratulations!
