Hey everybody. I am trying to figure out the wait time for Satoria J dolls. Can you help me please?

 

1 month IF an item is in stock.
If have to be made? 2-9 months.

I placed an order for 2 outfits in March, I'm still waiting I wrote to Jay (Q&A) early last month, she said shipping should, be in July.

 

Yeah believe longest I've waited is 8 months, but I would say a usual wait time is 3 to 6 months. Very much depends on what and how much you order.

 

Those of us who are waiting on dolls & outfits from SJ, did you see they posted a "notice" about delays in production, and new rules for limited outfits?

I just got a tracking # from SJ for the 2 elf outfits (Jade&Isabelle) I ordered March 20th
A week shy of a 5 month wait for, only outfits.

I'll post when I get them and on a doll

I have my midnight blue Stella wearing this elf Jade outfit that just arrived today!
I did a tweak to her headpiece, I replaced that center "pearl drop" with one of the opal stones that was on the chain that goes down the center
of her skirt.

As for the pirates, I got the Captain and Margot, both in Sonoran Beige with face ups, outfits and hand blushing. Oh, and boots ^^ Now I am very excited to get them! Especially the captain

@susieagent99 - Very lovely! I don't know if the 1/4 scale is a bit different or if it's just the lighting, but I also like the sculpt better there!

 

@Loganberry - No elf here yet either. I'm waiting on a Leo.

And I've seen this lovely Isabelle from Patrice, and she is even better than in the SJ photos.

 

This is so exciting! Did you buy the clothes too? I was hoping mine would arrive before my birthday but with so many elves waiting I’m doubtful that will happen.

She came today! I am so impressed with the daphne body! I got her in msd size. Isabelle is stunning. And the pale rose skin colour is my favourite of the pale skin colours.

Does anyone find the daphne body to have much better posing than the aph and mnt?

In other news I'm going to die if this stupid tariff business doesn't get resolved soon! I asked Jay almost a month ago and he was my doll was finished, packed, and ready to go but can't be shipped because of tariff hangups

I'm curious, who in this group is still waiting on Elves? US Tariff introduction obviously delayed things, but I realized in November I'll be in month 9. When I inquired about my order earlier this week they said it would be shipped "sometime" this week. I am hoping it's shipped and Jay's team just hasn't updated the status. If we get into November it'll officially be the longest I've waited for SJ dolls.

Of course, I also ordered one doll but a BUNCH of corset busts and two dresses with the Versaille April '25 drop, I fully expect that to not be delivered till January with their current rate lol.

 

Oof that has me worried about my wait for my Marina body - though I am also currently waiting on DollZone and they took like 9 months or so last time I ordered, and this time I've done it in a special skin so no new doll dopamine for me for a while lol.

Have they been having production issues recently or something that the wait has become so much longer? What was your usual expected wait time for them?

 

I received my Elf from the March order just a couple weeks ago. The delay from when SartoriaJ said it was ready to when the tariff shipping stop was resolved was about a month. I did not have to pay any extras or tariffs.

 

I just placed an order for Leo!! I did not order the limited version, but the halloween promotional photos gave me impression of a character I wanted. He is my first SartoriaJ doll and I am so very excited. I had been savoring their dolls on photos for years now. How long do they typically take to ship after order? Does anyone know? I am not on layaway.

 

@skyealloway yeah this was my 2nd time checking in, I had gotten the same response of my order being ready but of the craziness of the new tariffs putting a pause on US shipments in the beginning of September.

This is my 6th? 7th? Order with SJ and I've never received anything before month 6. Sometimes I wonder if I pissed Jay off at some point

 

@Lady Maeve Heavily depends on whether you ordered outfits and blushing with him, but they're not a fast ship company. I would set your sights on 4 to 6 month wait.

 

That's not bad at all! I only ordered Type A faceup. I couldn't afford outfit at the same time

 

@Lady Maeve I'm a sucker for their outfits, but they're not cheap and definitely add on wait time! Congrats on your boy!

 

@Faerie_Soup I wish I could zap my brain and forget I ordered Marina and Margot until they arrived, I'm just anticipating an extremely long and painful wait there haha.

 

@Wittyilynamed - I just received my Elf Leo...with a couple of Elfie outfits. So yours will probably ship out pronto.

 

I'll have to temper my expectations on wait times because SJ had big ambitions through the year going banger after banger of releases, especially after the Elves event. I had ordered my dolls in January and February respectively of this year when the Doll of the Month concept first launched. After completing my 3-month layaway for both, I received them the following month so the wait had been just 4 months in total for me.

I'm hoping my Ayla will come home to me early next year and my separate clothing orders before.

 

@luluna congrats on your leo! I just got an email that I have a DHL delivery that requires signature being delivered tomorrow, so looks like SJ sent it and just didn't update my order status! Glad to finally get my elf girls and the outfits in hand!

Their new DHL service is actually really amazing of them! I’m not American but I get huge tariffs and my order won’t arrive if not sent with DHL - my shipping was estimated at like $200 for Marina and they’re somehow covering that and the tariffs as if my order were American as well. I don’t know how they’re offering that without impacting their revenue, or if they’re just willing to accept the loss? I do feel a little guilty x(
