Just now, SJ posted 2 new "smaller dolls" Louis & Vanessa.

 

@JinCIncy She´s very glamorous! Reminds me of the stars of the 50s and 60s ... hair and fur are just perfect for her

 

@susieagent99 yeah I've seen. I'm safe which is a relief and a disappointment . Just waiting to see what Sophia is like. I have no idea what size she is though.

@JinCIncy She really shines. I didn´t like her sculpt on the promo pictures of both (old and new) Vanessas, but yours is truly lovely!

 

Looks like all the Halloween dolls are up now, and a MSD option has been added for all the ones that were just SD before!!! So Leo and Reborn Naomi are an option after all!? Ooh that's dangerous for my wallet!

 

@morganatron I saw that this morning..............it may be really dangerous for my wallet too, as I wasn't completely sold on Louis, but I LOVE Leonard. I really love the reborn Naomi too!

 

Reborn Naomi has such a beautiful faceup! I hope someone gets her!

 

I was really hoping for the Romantic Wednesday dress to be 1/4 size, would have been perfect for a witch character I have in mind. Oh well, saved some money, I guess.

Just wanted to share an old photo of my only SartoriaJ doll, Vittoria, which I still really love!

Also, I really like this Halloween release (well, all SartoriaJ release have gorgeous dolls!!!). I'm not planning to buy anything soon, but if I had to chose, it would definitely be the reborn Naomi. I like their older sculpts.

Yeah, I also think Naomi is gorgeous, and Leo! But I've bought far too many dolls this year, and in fact am trying to sell some, so I'm trying to be more selective and only get ones I really REALLY want - I do love Leo but he's not quite right for the character I have in mind, so oh well. I'll hold out for some future Sartoriaj doll!

 

@lapivoine Your Vittoria is lovely. I really like her sculpt too.

 

Unfortunately, the really beautiful msd dolls from Sartoriaj are not longer available, and I don't like the newer ones as much. I hope that the older sculps will make a comeback.

Who's tempted by the new 46ath body? I certainly am!! I liking Marina in amber beige resin. But i'm apprehensive to order in case something better comes along in part two

 

I love Marina best too, and I love her in amber beige, but I'm leaning towards sonoran beige so I can swap heads if I want to with some of my other girls. I'm guessing part 2 will be centered on the guys since it's all girls in part 1?

 

I love the new body! Marina would be my choice too, but I would go for peach cream. I wonder if there will be also clothes for the big girls.

 

@JinCIncy oh im hoping you're right and it is centred on the guys since I don't collect them .

I wonder if there'll be some hints about what to expect in part 2 when the newsletter comes out.

 

The new body looks very interesting!!! If I had unlimited money, lol, sure!!! As it is, I’ll keep it in mind for future releases, lovely as the new sculpts are, nothing much is tempting me this round. But I do like the look of the new body!!!

EDIT: oh wow the new 46 Ath girl body on it's own is only $147?! Limited 30% off? I might just be tempted after all!!!

 

Bodies is not the strongest point of Sartoriaj, but considering that the athletic bodies are less common for girls and they made nice outfit collection, this is a good sale again.
I have been waiting for winter sales and events to purchase a new doll and sartoriaj started theirs earlier - smart move, if they put one of my fav guys I won't have patience waiting for everyone else's sales Chances are low, but I can hope

 

I love the look of the athletic body. I literally just acquired a mnt body (that I can't open till Christmas) so I'm like shoot!! Maybe I should do like someone else suggested, order in Sonoran Beige again that way I can switch if I wanted.....but which face? I like the faceup on Heather, and Nicole is nice, and Marina is great too (her lips kind of remind me of my Luthien)

Yes @skyealloway the short order period is frustrating, especially when they don't tell you want part 2 is going to be so you can make an informed decision. I wish I knew which sculpts and what product were going to offered in part 2 of the sale so I could decide if I want one or two of the athletic girls.

 

I think if you don´t order from part 1 and then part 2 comes and you realize you would have preferred the part 1 sculpts, Jay would still let you buy them, if you decide quick and ask nicely At least I hope that ...

 

It's hard not knowing what's coming!!! I really love the Sartoriaj bodies, I love the male Ath one and the girls with the corset bust and Mintonette bodies especially - so this is very tempting indeed. I do have a Raccoondoll Smiling Gene head floating around that I could use for a new body, or get yet another Dreaming Laetitia head - or there's the Sartoriaj ones on offer for this round of course, although I'm not sure any of them feel quite right for me... but yeah, we all need to make the decision fast!!! The pressure!!!

 

SartoriaJ announced two new 1/4 dolls in human and dragon form. Mive and Galdren.
The dragon version comes with dragon head with horns, wings, dragon hands, calves and feet. Cannot wait to see what they prepared this time, sounds exciting.
And some people apparently get a little dragon figure as a gift. So cool!

 

Well now I'm partly glad I talked myself out of a athletic girl because what if I need a dragon??

 

I wonder if this will be serious dragons, or more pastel fluffy dragons, like Crumble I am really hoping for some more dramatic face ups, but I guess that won´t fit the seemingly lighthearted theme

 

I’m kind of regretting buying an athletic body for the same reason! What if I need a dragon instead?!

 

I ordered Marina now I'm wondering if I should have held off . Very excited to see the dragons tomorrow!!

 

Tomorrow is just princess Lizzy ... the dragon girl comes next Friday, and the boy the week after ... nearly overlooked that too

 

I cant with these waits. Where does it say that? I seem to miss these vital pieces of information.

It seems the windows for buying are getting smaller and smaller with SJ. I like to take my time and really consider a purchase and not feel rushed. But I guess that's the point, they want people to impulsively buy rather than realise they dont want it.

I hate to use the word stressed because in the great scheme of things this is just dolls but for want of a better word, I'm kinda feeling stressed by SJ. These special sales one after another without time to breathe. What happened to doll of the month?

I want all the pretty dolls and I can't buy them all is want this rant basically sums up to. Anyway, take this mostly as not serious. I love SJ and they pretty much take 100% of my doll money and they seem to have grown in popularity a lot this last year (which im pleased about) so they're definitely getting a lot right.

The dates are in the notice directly below the names of the dolls. The end point is for all December 14th. So at least there won´t be any rush for the first two.
And I feel stressed too. I have other things I want to buy, which are delayed and delayed and delayed, just because I MIGHT like one of the new dolls and want to buy it. Which is of course totally my own fault, I could just say okay, then I don´t buy ANY dolls. Yeah, if that would be so easy ...

Yeah im the same with delaying other purchases to wait to see what SJ has to offer. And I definitely could just buy something else and deal with not getting whatever SJ are offering but I keep not doing that

 

I was hoping for the dramatic dragon as well. I really wanted to see the wings and horns ! I loved what they did with the tarot theme for the SD-sized dolls !!!

I don't know if I'd jump at either of them (SartoriaJ bodies can take *effort* to pose, per my friend's experience) but I'm still terribly curious to see what the anthro dragon dolls look like. The sketch gives a taste, but it's not the same as proper sculpt photos.

Also, because it's driving me nuts: which actor is Galdren sculpted to look like? (Edited to get the dang sculpt name right.)

 

My guess is Jacob Elordi. Ignore the blond wig, the facial features kinda match

My wallet is safe this time, nothing is really for me here. I like Crumble the most out of everyone, congrats to people who got it

 

I thought the dragon versions would be for sale too meanwhile? Maybe they flew away ...
I love Mive´s dress and Galdren´s wig. Oh I miss the times when you could buy the outfits separately!

 

I agree about missing the times when you could buy outfits separately...especially the MSD sizes as they never offer many historical outfits for them.

 

I’m safe this time so far, but we’ll see when the dragons are released! I hope it’s soon!!!

 

Dragon previews are up! They'll be released this Friday!

They look absolutely gorgeous!! Horns, scales, claws, and wings!! I love that they chose cocoa brown resin as the undertone for their purple body blushing. Sadly, Mive doesn't get the same cool arm scales detailing as Galdren.

 

They really look lovely. But they won´t be for me, I think. I don´t like Mive´s and Galdren´s molds, and there would be so much hassle with clothes and wigs. And I guess they will be extremely expensive with face up, body blushing and so on. Will be even worse for the 1/3 dolls ... well, I will be waiting for them, if there will be any

 

I kind of wish they had tails.....
The little teaser snippet of Mives eyes with the faceup looks like there is a lot of sparkle happening. Good for me, I won't be tempted to order with faceup

It's seeming more and more like Mive might need to come home to me.

 

Dragon-Mive is up! She might not be for me, but she is truly beautiful! The skin color, the face up, the overall styling ... there went a lot of work and love into her She really is worthy of a Christmas event

 

I do find it a little bit odd that Galdren gets wings where you would usually expect wings and Mive gets wings above her butt.

 

Its like morrigan and jedah wings from vampire savior I'm really happy with the result and the feet being like high heels is cool. I'm happy with 1/4 because I don't think they need much clothes on

 

Face up and styling is perfect, it's Sartoriaj But I feel like they could have done more to make the doll look like a dragon. She has small horns, wings and feet. But what about a tail? It lacks more dragon features, imho. And maybe, bigger wings? Good example of what I am thinking about is Loong Soul black dragon, he is well done, very dragony.

 

Well dang, after how cool last years winter dolls colors were, I'm a little disappointed that the special color for these is just coco brown. The purple blushing is nice but a purple doll would have appealed to me more..
I'm still not convinced how the wings attach. If it was just magnets, they wouldn't need an opening in the vest/dress back. But there is no mention of a special peg system or anything. The photo of the wings certainly appears to have pegs with magnets.
It's interesting that galdrens dragon face is slightly different than his human....mive appears the same....am I missing a detail on Mive's that makes her two heads different? (besides the forehead horns)

 

@skyealloway You are not missing something on Mive, I think. I cannot see any difference either.
Galdren´s dragon face appeals to me far more than the human one. I just wonder how those wigs will hold on their dragon heads, without additional measures to make them stay.
