@Reinameron - Your Zak is wonderful. What body are you using for him?

 

Thank you for planning to do this, I'm very interested to see the comparison. Personally I love love love the body. The curves are killer and the arm shape is gentle with a nice flow. But none of the heads are taking my interest yet so wondering about hybrids.

She is pretty, but has no appeal for me. My wallet is grateful ^^

 

Oooh I love her! The outfit in particular is super cool.

 

Yu is lovely - I'm getting major Mulan vibes off her - but I'm really trying to avoid getting any more sd sized dolls if I can help it (and the faceup doesn't really fit the character I was thinking of shelling her as anyway), so I'm probably going to wait on this one and see if they release her and Zakary in mini somewhere down the line.

 

@Reinameron - Your Zakary is superb. Curious - What body are you using for him?

Thanks also for the link to the new hand sculpts, which look great.

I think Yu is exquisite, and I love the costumes, sword, and wig too. All in all, a very appealing new doll and concept.

 

Oh wow, I really like Yu and her outfit a lot! Wow, I may have to see if I can work this one out. I like the holding hands better, they do not look quite so 'spidery'.

 

I bought her Asian outfit and binyeo already. No whole doll money now. I had to buy a laptop this week.

 

I really like Yu! I’m trying not to buy any dolls right now though. But boy is she gorgeous!

 

That´s a beautiful face up. I wish the artist had made that much effort when painting my Yvonne MSD head :/

Does anyone know the end of the sale period for the current Zakary head? I can't find it anywhere.

Thought I was safe from Yu because I didn't like her initial faceup, so of course they released type B and C makeup that I'm absolutely in love with...

 

I know. The latest faceup is gorgeous and very Korean style. Sigh. Still not the direction I'm going with body shape though.

 

You'd think I'd know it by now, being in the hobby so long, but I was surprised by how different Yu looks with the alternative make-ups. The B type is really appealing to me. I'm excited to see some owner pics if anyone decides to get her.

The heads are up now! I got the one I wanted!

I think it should have Feb 11th when using GMT. They were up 24 hours earlier. There re only five that have been sold so far.

I...might have just panic-ordered a blank Yvonne head. Because it was only $100. And how often do Sartoria/Iplehouse-style heads come up for sale?

Hopefully she works for the big buff sd lady character I've been planning for.

 

I saw that too (it was a fantastic deal!)I think it was cheaper due to the reddish color, but I think with enough blushing to lighten it, it could work!

 

I mean, I was planning on putting her on the Impldoll 64 muscle body, so I probably would have had to blush her anyway. Or get Impl to color match it, but I think I'd rather just blush.

 

I've been looking to get Yvonne for a while now! I'm so glad they did this sale, I really wanted her as a head

I posted on the layaway board with an order a few days ago .
I see a reply under my post but it looks like it is for someone else, ie I clicked on it and it says wrong private post password.
I emailed them with no reply, perhaps it goes to spam lol
I hope it all works out as I am looking fwd to my first head from them

 

They respond well in Instagram. You might also post another message on their site.

 

@Sianserais she beautiful! Are you happy with her? What faceup did you get? Is that the new tan colour? The dress is fabulous (darn...missed out on that one...). Can't wait to get mine!!!!!

@Bluenocs - I think I answered at least some of that in the box-opening, but it's the faceup from the MSD-sized "bounty-hunter" version of Yvonne, and it is the new version of amber-beige, yes. I can't say I'm in love with the body, but I think it will be fine once I can get around to sueding it, and maybe tightening the main cord a bit? We'll see. I hope you'll be pleased with yours!

@Ashemanu - Thank you! The new girl is supposed to be in the new amber-beige. The decapitated head is in the old amber-beige that somehow turned out to be too pink to match IH. I don't know if an in-between hue is what they intended, but it's a very nice color anyway!

@Sianserais I went and peeked at your box opening. Yes, thank you for answering my questions twice! Right now the biggest thing I'm concerned about is the size of that box. Oh my. Not sure where I'm going to put that....

I have the pink Marie Antoinette gown to put Yvonne in. I bought it thinking I would be putting my original Yvonne head on an IH body. I'm really hoping it'll fit the new body. As much as I like the idea of a curvy girl, in hand is always different than internet pictures.

Do you think that wig (Zak is wearing) would have enough stretch to fit a EID head?

It fits but the sides are high although it kisses the tops of the ears and the wig will mostly cover the sides. I sent you a convo.
