Probably not all that dramatic, but I'm rather proud of the way Ansell looks now. Since coming into this hobby as a total newb last year, I can at least say I've learned how to enhance a face up and body blush.

Out of my three Carter has undergone the most change...he was my first doll so excuse the bad pictures with some of these I have been going through my own transformation too my learning to use lighting and the macro setting!!

My poor Ama Cha went through quiet a bit to get to where she is now.

1st: she's a boy i had vampire chiwoo at one point. he was my favorite doll just a little to big, so itried to make a mini version of him. saddly i just couldn't get it to work.
2nd: changed gender to girl. i was just having fun with color at this point
3rd: the perfect wig, not so perfect eyes/clothes *shudder* what was i thinking...
4th: today, my brightly colored yet still dead looking punk lolita girl. she had red eyes for a between 3 and 4, but that didn't last to long.

 

Adonis has had some serious evolution. It was only expected considering Adonis is a character I made up when I was 12 years old in my very immature yaoi hur hur stage. Everything was boy's love and cute little ukes and that's just what Adonis was xD

First Adonis was a Dollzone WS Megi with the default face-up, red eyes, a very bad white wig and a thing for kimono:


Then he got a new beautiful albino pouty face-up done by Buff, a new wig, love for girly clothes and boys:


Another face-up session with Buff and he was perfection as the male version of my Adonis:


But then I started to think he'd be better off as a girl. I'd matured beyond the yaoi stage and was starting to see the story Adonis hailed from as tasteless, bland and just an excuse for boys to date so Adonis got a complete revamp. I was liking the idea of he being a she pretending to be a he so I looked for a female doll with a boyish shape.

First attempt at female Adonis was a MNF Woosoo with face-up done by me:


She was cute but just too cute, not at all what I had in mind for a more mature Adonis as a female. So the Woosoo became a different character. I had a conversation with a friend when I did the change about how if Zaoll Luv had a smaller eye shape she'd be perfect. Maybe I'd get one and make her Dreaming and lo and behold not more than two days later Dreaming Luv was released. I of course right away started putting together money to get her.

Now here is Adonis in her I am certain final version that definitely represents the fifteen year old tomboy girl I was trying to represent:

Unfortunately I haven't really done much to my dolls as far as modding and face-ups go (Milo's a huge exception though). Most of my evolution is in the photography and styling. x:

When I first got her I didn't want her default because my grandmother was buying her and I would have felt terrible to cost her so much. She looked soo creepy without one though >.>



Then my friend Taylor offered to do a faceup on her, mind you, she had never done one before and I agreed, It looked fine for her first time but began to chip like hell and started looking blotchy.

Then I decided to do my own. Worst mistake of my life, The MSC bubbled and popped all over and upon removing, she was scratched up to all hell.



She was then sent to my lord and savior, Asainemuri. She not only removed the rest of the terrible MSC, but gave her a new beautiful faceup and fixed her up :3, she still has a few scratches but they are rather unnoticeable. The eyes you see in this pic were a mistake, I got them from Hobby Lobby near where I live, they were meant for a realistic doll and were 18mm, WAAAAY too big for my MSD, even if she has huge eyes.

Anyway, that is a brief evolution of my ashers.

This is the family edition xD These two have gone through a lot of changes over the time I've had them. From face-ups, to fashion to entirely different dolls and recently I changed their family name. So here goes father and daughter Scali. The picture below is how they originally met each other, Julius a CP Dreaming El with a terribly trashy face-up done by me and Adonis a Dollzone Megi (male on their first meeting) with an adorably sweet face-up by Buff.




While I adored the Megi I started to get more mature in my stories for these characters and decided it'd be best if Adonis was a girl. So I purchased a MNF Woosoo and created a cute little tomboy Adonis.


While she was adorable she was just too adorable. Looked more like she was ten than then fifteen through eighteen she goes through in her story. So the Woosoo was put aside and eventually sold. I had a discussion with a friend about if Zaoll Luv only had smaller eyes she'd be perfect for Adonis. A Dreaming Luv would be amazing. I even considering modding a regular Luv. And behold the next day a Dreaming Luv was released. Of course I bought her. So now Adonis is in her proper form. She'll be getting a new face-up soon though as I've decided to scrap the albino idea and want a bit of a plain Jane thing for her.



Now onto her daddy. The CP Dreaming EL was a completely impulse buy. I liked his impish looks, his mischievous little grin and his girly little body. Seemed perfect for Julius the sometimes cross dresser sometimes smart dressing business man. So like the photo up top shows he started off as a dark haired rent boy, no other words for that look. I decided I might prefer him blond and sent him off to ChiyoMiwa who gave him a lovely face-up and so the pretty boy diva was born.



Problem was he felt too anime for me. He didn't really fit in with the rest of my doll family as they all had features leaning more towards realism and far smaller heads. I'm really anal about that. Considering he was supposed to be paired with a Souldoll Killian I went ahead and looked for another doll for him. I purchased a Dollmore Thinking Kara Klum after going on and letting the EL go with much no don't do it from friends xD The Kara Klum didn't please me when I first opened the box. His shoulders were too broad so he spent time as Cyrus Camden, Adonis' boyfriend.



That wasn't working either. Cyrus is supposed to look mean not depressed. So a couple of days ago I sat for hours trying to get his face-up right and when it came to the end he ended up looking snarky, pretty and somewhat sad so the Kara Klum turned into who he was originally supposed to be, Julius Ilian Scali.



They've come a long way. Once I finish repainting Adonis a new set of father daughter photos will be taken.

When Sixtine arrived, she had a lovely makeup that I didn't want to change, but I played so much with her that she got shiny spots and a small chip on her lid, so I decided to make her a freckled redhead (I love freckled redheads!!!)

the second one was alright but I was still not happy so I sent him to Kai to get a faceup.

My doll Poison (08 Breakaway Vamp) has gone through the most changes of any of my dolls, including a name change, personality change, species change... I think I have him just about content now, though, and don't have any pictures of his most recent incarnation. Promise to add it once I do, tho...
