Disclaimer: I am just a hobbyist with plenty of experience, not a full time professional. Things may not be absolutely perfect. I will try to the best of my ability, and if you're not satisfied we should be able to work something out.

 

Services Explained (updated 2024)​

Hot glue Sueding - Hot glue is used in the doll joints to provide stability and grip for posing purposes. Body can be mailed in parts or strung. No head is required. I assemble the doll while sueding to make sure the joint integrity is solidified, care is taken to make glue as invisible as possible to the outside joints.

Cleaning - If the doll is dirty and will need extra work, a minimum of $5 will be added to the total. If owner is purchasing a body blushing, cleaning is required.

Seam Sanding - I use 400, 600, 800 and 1500 grit sandpaper. I do my best to keep the resin texture consistent, but in some cases it may become smoother and lighter. As with all seam sanding, some discoloration will happen. Sunken seams are sanded on a case-by-case basis.

Re-stringing - Service best for floppy or kicky dolls. I will tighten, loosen, assemble, or adjust your dolls strings.

NS Bath - Return your NS skinned doll to a peachy/pinky state. If you have a 'sample' of the skin tone you want it restored to, I will attempt to match it. Otherwise please send the headcap of the doll being colored to assist me in showing you the color difference. You MUST know if your doll has been sanded prior. I will not be responsible for discoloration due to undisclosed sanding.

Body Blushing - This is a full body blushing, arms, legs, hands, fingers ect. Please consider that body blushing takes longer then my other services. All blushing is hand done with pastels mixed together to match the skin tone desired. Thighs are the least blushed out of all the parts. Body blushing includes manicures and pedicures with gloss and neutral colors.

Pedicures and Manicures - Doll hands/feet will be fully brushed and owner specified nail colors and details will be done. This service is beyond basic blushing and has extra layers done for details. When purchased in addition to a full body blush, -$10 will be deducted from price.

"Fix My Doll" - It's hard to explain. If you have a problem doll, and don't know what needs to be done to fix it, you can send it to me. I'll assess it, and send you a price quote of what needs done and what I may need to do. If you give me permission, I work based on what we agree on. You will need to pay shipping both ways weather or not I can fix your doll.
I'm able to sculpt or carve joints, but I'm unable to color match anything that is sculpted.

You always get pictures of your finished doll. If there is a problem I will contact you ASAP.

Q&A:

What materials do you use?
Rembrandt Soft Pastels (chalk), Citadel Acrylic Paints, Various Glosses, MSC Flat, PrismaColor water color pencils.

Q: What dolls have you worked on?

Q: What's your average turn around time?
A: Restring/Hot glue suading only takes me 5-7 days depending on when the doll arrives here. Body blushing and seam sanding can take 2-3 weeks. Sometimes things take longer, or are done faster. I do my best to keep in touch.


Q: When do I pay?
A: Upon Completion of your doll. Once it's done and we both agree everything is good, than I'll PM you the total. Shipping generally will be what you paid to ship the doll to me, unless it needs a new box or upgraded (insurance/delivery confirmation/faster).

Q: Do you provide more packing if the packing to you isn't enough?
A: No. I do not take responsibility for damages in transit to or from me. That being said please send your doll with enough packing to keep it safe round trip. I do not repack dolls in my own materials unless I'm at fault for losing the packing material or the box is entirely unusable. I suggest all dolls sent with insurance, as the post office has damaged a few dolls that have come through my shop. **If it is extremely important your doll not have any damage (limited editions etc) what so ever, you may not want to ship your doll. However if you choose to take that risk, let me know and I will to the best of my ability pack the doll as if it were made of glass. But PLEASE send enough packing materials to do this.**

Q: I don't like stiff dolls, can you make it so they're not stiff but they can pose?
A: Yup! Just ask.

Q: What if my doll doesn't need everything I hire you for/what if you tell me my doll doesn't need everything I asked.
A: I'll talk it over with you. I really don't like doing things that aren't needed. If your doll is perfectly fine without wiring, I'll tell you. If he doesn't need restrung-its only sueding he needs. I'll tell you. No additional charges or anything. It's then up to you to decide if you still want that work done.


Q: Does that price for restringing INCLUDE the string, or do I have to pay extra?
A: I've now edited the main area to include this question. But as it's been asked, I'll add it here Yes, the price for restringing does in fact INCLUDE the string.

Q: So, can you still see the seams once sanded?
A: Yes, you can. Some parts will be flat, others can be seen. You can feel them sometimes too, but usually that's for the sunken ones. The raised ones i do my best to smooth out.

Q: Paypal fees?
A: I don't charge them, but I will let you know how much they cost me. If you choose to pay, I really appreciate it. But I don't expect it from any of my customers.

Q: So you do full body blushing?
A: I'm still not 100% comfortable with my ability, but I'll do my best.

Q: Okay so, Faceup's?
A: Case by case basis, but I'm not comfortable offering it regularly.

Q: How many dolls/people have you worked with?
A: I stopped keeping track at 45, apparently. And that was back in 2013, but things have slowed down since then.
