@barrytrotter, your Koonie S is a gorgeous Christmas vision and so is her little companion. What a lovely Holiday photo! And thanks for that stunning comparison photo too...my, they look so different! It really surprised me.

Thank you! I'm glad I asked for different make-up styles for them, because now my KoonieS squad has more diversity, which seems to better justify for my continuous collection of them.




Anyway as I said earlier I wanted to do a proper picture of all my KoonieS and now I have one on the last day of 2016, see you in 2017!

p.s. Sorry for the bad lighting and messy background, I was in a rush. Moreover I only learned of the misplaced ribbon on my sleeping KoonieS when adjusting the photos, since I'm hardly a perfectionist I couldn't care less to retake the photo, but if that bothers you I'm sorry for being so random :P

 

So, between Dollism over 2 years ago, a friend getting two and knowing they were going to put them on hiatus I had been going over getting a Dotty Muse. I hadn't done it before the end of the year though but decided to randomly check today. Somehow Dotty Muse was still available and after my order went through her status went to "available soon" like all the others. So I either managed to get the last one or managed to hit a glitch.

Turns out she was just the last one! I heard back from Peaks Woods and the layaway has been started. They must have had one physically in stock.

*edit: my brain overrode the real spelling because I picture -ie as the name and -y as a euphemism

Hi, everyone! Does anyone know where I can buy s-hooks small enough for the hands? I purchased a Peak's Woods FOB, and one of her hand s-hooks broke. Appreciate any insight/advice. Thank you!

@Cydril - thank you so much!! I've purchased some what I think are small s-hooks, but they usually always end up too big. Would like to not make that mistake again!

Hi, I have a wonderful LadyBee coming my way - but it seems it will still take some time till she arrives. I would love to buy her clothes in advance - but I need a specfic measurement to get the clothes customized for my girl: the inseam. It would be great if someone could measure it (crotch to ankle).

@Feelisa - I've got 19 1/2 cm for the inseam if you want the pants or skirt to go to the ankle joint line, 20 cm if you want it to go a bit longer. :-)

@faireva her first outfit will be casual, I am ordering her a pair of leggings with a nice fox print from ietsiepetesy on etsy. Reason being that she is going to have an encounter with a fox that will change her life - so there is a "casual" Coco wearing that pants and a "transformed" Coco (I hope I can make that outfit on my own from tulle and with swarovsky stones, but I am not sure) - thank you for your interest

 

@Feelisa - Fun idea! Seems like she meets a very fashionable fox. I look forward to the photos you post when her look is complete. :-)

 

and back again - still waiting for my Lady Bee - but now I am looking for shoes that would fit her heel legs - I know the Code Noir fit but it doesn't go with her style - what other brands might fit? I compared inner length and her feet length but I am still a bit unsure - Luts has a nice pair of pumps, but I am not sure if the fit... where do you buy shoes for your girls?

@Feelisa - I don't have many shoes for my FoB girl, but I know that CodeNoir and DollHeart fit well. I would assume Sadol MSD size would fit nicely too, since PW has them as a clothing option on their website. I checked length of foot between Luts KDF and PW FoB and KDF is 5.7 cm and FoB is 5.8 cm, so Luts brand might be tight? But I'm not sure, they could still squeeze in there perhaps. Since Luts is having a sale on clothing & doing an Easter event where you can earn a $15 coupon, it might be a good time to try them out if you've found a pair you like.

Thank you, I think I will give the LUTS shoes a try - they look perfect - worst case I give them away or get a Kid Delf at one point (the Romantic Kiwi sculpt is cute).
Still a bit unsure about the face up - i hope i'll manage XD.

 

I have (FINALLY) ordered a PeaksWoods doll! I've been looking at their dolls for about a year now, but the time was never right/they weren't regularly producing the basic dolls when I looked.
I have a Dotty Muse on layaway and now the waiting game begins....

 

Oh congratulations! I currently have a Dotty Muse on layaway as well. What skin color did you choose, and are you getting her with a face-up or blank? Regardless, you certainly won't be disappointed. I have a Romantic Mia (Dulcinea) and a Romantic Lady Bee (Delphina) and they're fabulous dolls!

 

Thank you~~ I chose Normal skin with the face-up. Since she is my first PeaksWoods doll, I wanted to see what the company face-up would look like in person.
Haha...I was THIS CLOSE to ordering a Lady Bee as well ^^ , but maybe next time.
I am so looking forward to getting Dotty Muse once I clear all my layaway payments.

 

You're certainly going to love the gorgeous face-up PeaksWoods does! Here are my Romantic Mia (Dulcinea) and Romantic Lady Bee (Delphina). They're both in lavender pink skin, with company face-ups. The Dotty Muse I'll be getting is going to be named Desdemona and will complete my trio of fairy sisters. She'll be in green skin.

 

@PoeticSoul - Dulcinea and Delphina look so beautiful! Can't wait to see Desdemona together with them when she arrives!

 

Hey, I think I got it figured out now! OK, here is a pic of my KoonieS! And my Lavender pink Koonie, Mia and Lady Bee should be coming any time now, too. Can't wait for them to get here! They are going to be done up as fairies with that LP skin tone. Anyway, here's Koonie in NS. Oh, and she is wearing an Ell outfit.

I thought Id pop in to show a pic of my Dotty Muse - still in face up bandages as I havent decided what Im doing with her so she has gone straight back in the box

 

@Ishtar, wow! Your vampire Dotty Muse is magnificient! Her face-up is amazing and her eyes are gorgeous! Now I'm even more excited for mine to arrive...she'll have green skin and green oscar eyes. I still have quite a wait for my Dotty Muse because I just paid her layaway off a couple of months ago, but your girl really made my heart skip a beat. Congrats on her arrival!

 

I'm so excited for the Christmas event. I love my FOC's so much I've been waiting for this opportunity and 15% discount is a bonus. Now I just have to wait for 15 December...

 

The 15% off is so rad! I've been waiting for a Romantic Dotty Muse too. This will be my first mini PW doll. Peak's Woods is one of my all time favorite companies. They are so nice to work with, the long layaway option is so generous, the face-ups are the best I've ever seen, and the dolls are all soooo gorgeous.

Speaking of, @PoeticSoul, your two girls are just stunning! And @Ishtar, your Dotty Muse is also very beautiful, I love the teeth!!!

I hope this thread picks up again, I'd love to see more PW FOBs!

 

The Christmas event is right around the corner! I'm excited to see the new FOB releases, especially Lottie with her cute pout.

I submitted my picture for the relay today and this photo was my runner up choice. Here's my KoonieS, Concetta, in all of her lavender glory.

 

She is gorgeous . Love how sweet she looks in contrast to the vampire teeth.

I'm very excitedly waiting for the FOB Lottie myself since I love my wakeup one so much

 

@EmmiImee So much anticipation for the unique and sparkling Lottie, her sculpt is really OOAK.
Concetta is a sweet vampire most of the time.. except when she's hangry!

 

I can officially join the FoB squad! Thanks to time zones I was able to order my Little Lottie today I got her in Pink Punch, with faceup, and with fullset everything except wig and eyes. I would have liked the black wig available but I can make one just the same when she’s home, and lord knows I have too many eyes already
I’d understand if I’m in for another 6 month long haul, but I can hope she’ll be home earlier! I want to take some comparisons of my Wake Up Lottie and her Little self!

 

@Cuteasadoll Ohhh! Congratulations on her! I'm sure you will just adore her. I have an FoC Lottie & love her to bits. It's amazing to me how these little FoB sculpts match their bigger counterparts so exactly. KyungMin Lee's skill continues to impress me.

It's too bad they aren't able to open the other doll sculpts at this point but I hope it gives them a chance to catch up with orders.

 

Is anyone going for the moonlight grey resin? I think I am going to wait for an event with different fantasy colors but I'm really curious to see that grey styled in different ways.

And she's ordered! Sort of by accident because my wonderful cat hit the pay now button on paypal, but I guess he made the decision for me. I just got a basic Little Lottie, normal skin w/ faceup. First doll I've ordered directly through Peakswoods, so I'm kind of excited.

 

Congrats! That cat knows what’s best I hope we don’t have any delays on our Lottie’s!

 

Honestly I'm expecting between 3 and 4 months. The last doll I ordered from them took 7 (March-October), but I also ordered through Fabric and Friends, so...I guess we'll see how it goes.

 

My last order direct with Peaks Woods was 7 months (for my big Lottie! From April to November) but they had quite a few releases as well as opening all basic FoC at that time, so I’m thinking with them limiting the orders this time they’ll catch up some.

 

Yeah, the last time I ordered from them was when they were stopping the sale of FOC's, so I really wasn't surprised that it took that long. But man the wait was worth it.

 

Joining the Little Lottie squad Ordered her yesterday, right on the deadline. :3

This will be my first Peakswoods doll, and I'm pretty excited. ^_^ She'll be arriving to me in White Skin and blank, so I'll need to be shopping for the right face up artist for her.

I havent seen many reviews on the FoB body though. Does anyone know of any? I'm a teensy bit obsessed with posing and such for photos, so I'd love to know exactly what I should expect. ^_^

 

@wherethelilacsbloom Congrats on ordering her! Lottie is a beautiful sculpt. As for posing, the elbows are double jointed & my KoonieS touches her face easily. The knees are single jointed and FoB is a solid stander.

I pose my dolls in pretty basic standing, sitting, and laying positions so I don't have any complicated photos to share. But Imo they are sturdy/well balanced and have a beautiful body line.

 

I'm not sure if this helps you but paxita's Dandy Troy arrived recently & he's in the moonlight grey color. Sorry, this reply is a bit late for the most recent event though. (I added the quotes to see her boy below as I had trouble adding them here, for some reason)

It looks pretty similar to the blue grey color to me, but maybe a tad more greyish?

@Calfuray love to see Harriet! Still can’t ge over her gorgeous resin, Peaks Woods does so well with their colors I want to contribute to the thread more but I’m still waiting on my Little Lottie! Currently around day 60, end of March will be her official ship window though I’m prepared for any delays (as tough as those may be ><)

 

Dottie Muse is a dream doll of mine *sigh* Yours is ever so beautiful in that colour and the way you styled her, too. THank you for sharing!

 

That order of 4 dolls I placed in the beginning of 2016 has been paid off. I can't wait for them to be made and sent to me @_@

I received my FPB Lottievtoday, wuite surprisingly too! She' s really the cutest thing and I already love her to bits.
I ordered her on the 23rd of december, she got shipped on 30st of march and arrived here today, which is pretty quick!
I hope that I can do her faceup tomorrow.

My little Lottie has a tracking number but has not shipped yet. I AM SO EXCITED

After 91 business days, my Little Lottie shipped! So excited I didn’t have an extra 2 months like when I ordered by big Lottie! Especially since I got her full set as well as choosing Pink Punch resin I hope shipping isn’t delayed and I have her by the end of the week.

 

Lucky with customs! Sped through the office to get to me in only two days total, I looooove her
