Migidoll Secondhand?

When you get access to the marketplace, you'll find there are quite a few second-hand Migidoll heads and full dolls available.

 

There's some available on the various Facebook groups if you're in a hurry.
But I've had better luck with the Marketplace if you're willing to wait!

 

Also if you are looking at those venues (ebay/aliexpress) just be aware they're notorious for selling recasts. You're better off looking at "bjd addicts commissions and sales page" group on Facebook and such.

 

I don’t want to discourage you because Migidolls are awesome but often the secondhand prices are very close to the original price. They hold value well. That’s not to say it’s impossible to find a good deal, but I have bought several migidoll heads secondhand and paid close to retail on all of them.

That being said, working towards your marketplace access here is definitely worth it! Even if there isn’t a Mu available immediately, you can post a ‘wanted’ thread for one and set your requirements in it, like what amount of yellowing or damage is acceptable, if modifications are okay, how much you’ll pay, if you want it to have a faceup, etc.

 

I know this is an old post and hopefully you found your boy. I was looking for the 65cm migi body and found one and randomly asked if she had a ell head lying around as a joke n just by luck she did and she sold to me for only 50extra on top of body. Then within the same day another lady offered me a sleeping ell. Sooo... body and 2 heads less then the cost of new doll with one head n shipping. Not to bad I'd say.
