He has a mountain of snacks that he brings along on trips to share with friends he meets. His favorite food is dango, which he sometimes shares with his pet pig. Ever since he adopted Saizo, the two have been inseparable.
He does not like socks at all and has been known to hide them if an occasion to wear them comes up...
