Mature 1/6 Dolls - part 2

Oh gosh, I was already debating getting a small Granado boy and a MiracleDoll snek boy, but seeing how good they look together just makes me even more tempted!

Does anyone have a 5stardoll Miss S? I'm trying to find the wig and eye size for her but there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on her at all.

Congrats on getting those legs for your Metato @SteamWitch!! Those fairy legs are lovely but they sure are limiting. And I love the flower censoring.

@SteamWitch - Congrats on finding the human legs! 'Cause sometimes a guy just has to stand on solid ground.

 

I am so happy he has human legs and can run around with his buddies. He is in shorts right now so I can look at those legs! Squeee!!!

Starting the new year with a new addition to the crew. She has a wig and eyes on the way...any clothing ideas?

That often happens. I've passed over many dolls whose company photos did nothing for me. Miss S has a lovely faceup.

 

She does. I can't wait for her new eyes and wig to get here. Bought her some Barbie clothes today so she's not naked. XD

 

What are you doing for shoes? She doesn't look like she'll be able to wear Barbie shoes.

 

Shoes I don't know yet. Barbie clothes are actually a little big on her but they work as lounge clothes. Glasses fit perfectly, lol.

 

If Barbie clothes are a little big, then she might do well in Momoko or Blythe sizes! Shoes, though, those are a little harder.

 

Thanks for the Miss S photos - I was put off by the dreadful company photos, but may reconsider after seeing yours!

Just thought I'd pop in and let all the tiny doll lovers know that Dollzone is discontinuing their mature tiny line of Eugenia, Anita, Ivy, Iris, Ivana and Arwen. I'm not very happy about it.

 

I've been trying to decide all day if I can really afford any of them before they're discontinued, and it doesn't seem likely!

 

at least they gave us some notice!

 

Thanks for letting me know - I was just checking their pages of discontinued dolls and was relieved not to see them there - with this heads up I will finally make up my mind and order!

eta - where did you see the news, QY? I can't see the Specials on any of the lists of discontinued dolls...

 

I'm so sad to hear they're being discontinued :'( At least this gives me an excuse to finally buy one..

If I want a winged doll with the wings white and the body a different color can I order it like that?

Edit- I emailed Denver Doll to ask.
Of course, if I order one several other doll companies will have order periods for dolls I want.

Got an email confirming DZ does not make two-color dolls. I've still got a month to decide.

 

I'm wondering if anyone who got a MYou Alan would mind taking photos of him next to a Ken doll, or any other 12" male-fashion doll, I would be eternally grateful. Bonus points if it's a white Alan. DX

 

Hey everyone, I've been looking for another ~27cm mature doll that comes in a tan color.
Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions?

 

Maskcat offers tan, though her girls are a bit shorter. That's the only easily available one I can think of at the moment. Granado has been hinting at a new mature tiny recently and they make several shades of tan.

Limwa had the "To you" line at one point and they came in tan. Haven't seen them available for quite a while.

 

Limhwa dolls can be ordered directly from Limhwa by email.

Myou also has tan skin and has two new dolls, Alan and Gina.

 

I actually got a normal myou gina. But I didn't know about limhwa. I'll have to take a look.

There's also Atelier Momoni's Pitusa line, though one has to wait for a pre-order period. The dolls come in a variety of resin colors.

 

Hi Everyone my Enoki finally arrived! I was worried I wasn't going to bond with her, but she picked up her own character right when I slapped a wig on her.

It's crazy how beautiful the sculpt is even without a faceup, but I did use the snapchat freckle filter and fell in love with little features it painted on her.

 

She's looking cute, @Geo-Earthling ! I can't wait to see how you style her. Are you planning to paint her yourself or send her out?

 

Thank you! I'll keep you updated with her. I'm leaning more towards sending her out just because I don't think I'll have enough free time. Her details would be so tiny.

 

Tiny dolls are hard to paint, I'll give you that, but I enjoy painting my own--and also saving a bit of money.

She's absolutely stunning! I think the one disappointment I have is the single-jointed arms. Somehow I didn't pay close enough attention to the photographs and didn't realise they were single-jointed before she arrived. The rest of the body has really great joint engineering and posing so the oversight on the elbows is a bit baffling.

@nattherat Wow!! The owner pics are really cool to see!!! Swapping the humanoid arms for the monster arms is a GENIUS idea, I love it so much!

Has anyone seen any owner pics of the mature 1/6 yanxi ? Specifically on the 30cm human body.... His body sculpting looks really nice, and he's double jointed! I barely ever see mature tiny men that are on the buffer side so I wanted to share- outside of ACBJD I haven't found a thing about him.

 

@Beedalee Thank you! I think she looks really cool with the changes. The monster parts are my favourite parts, so it is ideal to have them be her actual arms.

I actually intend to order the doll you mention, or at least the body, but with it currently being unlimited I have felt no rush. I would be interested in seeing how well it poses too.

 

The pictures on the ACBJD sales page shows how far the Miracle Dolls YanXi elbows and knees bend. The only other info I know is that he can be ordered in tan resin through Dolk, and his head size might look out of proportion with some of the other dolls this scale as its 9cm instead of 10cm.
