Oh my goodness! She's adorable! I've had her on my wish list since she came out. Yours makes me want to buy her now! As cute as she is in a Real Skin Normal, I plan on getting her in Real Skin Tan. My YUL is normal skin, and I really want a beautiful Tan doll.

Thank you! I used to have a Senior Delf KARIS in Real Skin Tan, and his tan skin was so lovely! However, I no longer have him, for I had to sell him; I was a little behind in paying my bills—for the first time—and actually ended up selling three of my dolls. But that's okay, because I didn't really bond with his mold and planned on getting another tan doll in the future. Of course, LUTS released the YUL that I had missed out on before and I couldn't resist, so my tan doll was put on hold—which turned out to be a good thing anyway, for I was waiting for the perfect mold to be released.

 

Well, I just could not help myself. I have wanted a RSB Bory for ever. And I was so disappointed when I lost out on one in the MP. So.... I had to place another order just before they closed his sale. I didn't combine it with my other order because this way I could get the free faceup. Plus, I didn't want to delay my other order more. Of course, this means no more dolls for a very, very long time.

I meant to write that I checked yesterday how long production time was on the page. I realized that since my ordering time only about 20ish work days passed - which were only half of the given time estimate (40-45 i think).
Then I got woken up by the sounds of the storm outside, checked my mails on my phone per habit and realized that my Bory is coming home

And yes I ordered just the blank doll
I have plans of my own for him.

Gah, I am so antsy for my first order to ship. I was hoping it would ship this past week but nothing. Now I'm hoping maybe this week but so far I haven't heard anything. Then again, it is only Monday so there is still lots left to the week. I considering asking them about my order but I hate to bug them when the dolls really aren't overdue yet its just... I'm antsy! And last time I placed an order (2015) I never received a shipping notice and was so upset that they didn't e-mail me. I guess I'll give them this week and then I'll start asking if I don't hear anything. Anyone else getting impatient?

 

Seeing everyone else but me in October with a nice green shipping date? You'd better believe I'm impatient! Not that I have a body for the pumpkin head ordered yet, but that doesn't make me any less antsy!

I know I'm not on the list, but I ordered steel heart twins with blushing but no faceups on November 9th, and I got my notice yesterday! Woo!

I honestly have no idea, though I'd guess it was while the Pumpkin head was still available... I think toward the end of the order period for it, actually. (And I know I have the order delay from them, and then the dealer delay... but I just couldn't justify EMS costs for one head.)

 

Completely understand! EMS is so expensive if all I was getting was one small item, I would have bought through a dealer as well. No reason to pay more than $50 when you can pay less than $5.

 

I can really only do the appropriate mental gymnastics for EMS when I'm ordering full dolls. (And even then it hurts!) My two (gorgeous) Luts outfits were ordered through GOs before Luts had a domestic dealer because of that, and the cost of the two of them together was the same as some less expensive dolls, but not resin = not wanting to pay EMS in my mind. (Luckily, now MoC carries Luts goodness so if I decide I want the other outfits I've been eyeing, I can just order through them again.)

Whenever I do finally cave and get a full doll, though, that'll likely go direct.

 

My November order shipped!!!!! Iruka's body and my littlr Pine boy are on their way as of last night! Eeeek. Now to ask for a day off so I can be there when they try to deliver! I'm guessing Wednesday! You don't think it would get e as early as tomorrow, right?

 

My Darae arrived. She's my first BJD, and I'm very impressed. I also got a shipping notice for the Pukifee that I ordered a month later, so soon I'll have two

My Clary just shipped from LUTS and tracking shows her already on origin post is preparing shipment! With any luck she'll come in when I get back from my con Monday~ I have the day off work so I could really enjoy her haha.

 

So my Clary showed up today but unfortunately I'm at a convention and won't be home until Monday ;A; At least I have something to look forward to upon coming home!

 

lol I wonder if we were at the same con then? XD But omg yay! I'm so anxious to get mine but I know mine might take a little longer since I'm getting it through a dealer. Ordered a Luts Betty from Denver Doll Emporium (DDE) and the money just came out. I can't wait until she is on her way to me! They told me 12 weeks. Ugh, such a long wait. But I know it will be worth it. Will do the proper thing when I know the shipping info and stuff.

Anyone can edit the page but if you have trouble you can either post here and someone can help you, or check out how to edit the Wiki.

To anyone that's a bit scared of the wiki, don't be, it's really simple to edit it.
To update your entry:

• Click EDIT for the month that you ordered.
• Copy and paste someone's entry and edit it to show your name and order.
• If unsure, click "show preview" at the bottom of the page and make sure everything looks fine.
• Click "save page" to save your edit.

 

I'm curious. I thought the waiting rooms were to give us an idea of how long it was taking companies to ship. With all the arrival dates gone, we don't have any idea if they are over or under the expected times listed on their website. Have I misunderstood the purpose of the waiting rooms all this time?

 

@ShadowMist, it's both to track waiting times and to chat with others who are also waiting. The list of order and ship times still exists, it's just been moved to a slightly different place.

 

Then I may be looking at the wiki page wrong because from what I saw if either the shipping or delivery time was over 3 weeks it got deleted. Considering that most companies take way longer that that to ship..... well, it doesn't make sense to me. I'll dig around the wiki page some more. Maybe the info is still there somewhere and not deleted.

 

I wonder why they're doing this. I really liked how it was before.

 

Someone just pointed out to me that the Dollshe wiki wasn't completely gutted like ours. AND theirs doesn't say delete everything after 3 weeks. Shouldn't they be consistent? 3 weeks is not enough time for anything.

 

I totally agree ShadowMist. I know they say we should update on the wiki, but is there any rule saying we can't continue to edit the list here too? I personally like the format here better and think it's a bit clearer.

 

@xellos I don't know if they'd allow that. Especially seeing as it looks like the list was deleted from throughout the thread? I haven't been through each page but it looked like it was completely gone?

Well, since this place is just for squee and chat now, what are everyone's plans? I've got a Zuzu KDF and Zuzu MDF on order that address going to be my fursona and my girlfriend's. I'm turning one into a spotted hyena (mine) and one into an Aardwolf (hers).

I'm waiting on the pumpkin head from Halloween; I've wanted a pumpkin head for a while, so I jumped on this one when it came up for order. It'll be waiting a bit, but I plan to get the treant-ish body from Impldoll to hybrid it into a little pumpkin fairy.

 

@xellos that sounds awesome. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

I'm waiting on a brown skinned Bory elf. I've wanted a brown skinned Bory for ages and after losing out on one in the MP decided to jump on them when they came up again.

 

Also waiting on a Brown skin Bory, I had light tan skin of the romance head from the moonlit song unicorn fullset that I got from the marketplace, but I felt the resin was too dark, plus I was having troubles finding a second hand body to match since I wasn't sure if the head had yellowed. Now I will have a full doll without the worry of the resin batches being different. This is the first time I've ever ordered a fullset and got a company faceup so I'm really excited to see him

 

So, much to my surprise, my pumpkin head was waiting in my mailbox when I got home today! It'll be an interesting challenge to blush it to be a bit more realistic while avoiding the light-up mechanism (it doesn't seem easily removable), but I'm looking forward to getting the body for it and putting it all together!

 

@vicemage, that sounds so cool! I hope you'll post pictures when you're all done. And congrats on getting your had. I've always wanted one, but I think I'd be to tempted to make a headless horseman if I ever got one.

@ShadowMist @TenguxChan , Bory in brown skin is gorgeous. And such a cute face!

I also got one of the Bory fullsets, but I bought him on impulse and don't really have any concrete plans for him. I had just always wanted an elf eared Bory, so when he came up for sale, I snapped him up.

 

@xellos, that's exactly why I had to jump in and pick this one up, I've wanted one but it's never worked out before that I could get one! But the price was right, and getting it through MOC meant the shipping wasn't astronomical, even if the wait was a bit more.

Elf Bory is really pretty, he's tempted me a few times, but I don't have a solid place to work one in and I have so many other plans... I can justify an inexpensive pumpkin head that was unplanned, but it's tougher to justify full impulse dolls with the list of planned ones...

 

So I just ordered my first tiny. I have two MDF's so is there anything I should know from the hive mind?
I'll also be using her for my first face-up so I'm a little nervexcited.

 

My poor floating head has been waiting forever for a body and now it is all paid off and all I can do is sit on my hands.

I've named him Bo, he has a wig and eyes AND clothes. He just needs his body to arrive. He even has a set of bongos - just no hands to play them. I feel for the kid.
