Not sure if this is the right thread for general LLT heads and body, please move my post if it isn't.

Has anybody got wind of the price of the new full dolls?
Any further details about the body posing abilities?

I like Ludwig, there is something very young about him.

 

This thread is kinda dead, does anyone have any news on LLT? I have a Dove head tan that I just removed the faceup and the resin got ruined. I'm trying to get hold of the artist but all updates seem to be from 2016.

 

Perhaps you are looking at the old website? They launched lltdoll.com earlier this year.

I’m only coming here to express my woes. I am desperately seeking this sculpt, I am not allowed access to the marketplace because I’m new to DOA, and I reached out to LLT and she sounded pretty convinced she wasn’t launching Roderich ever again.

Julia has remained non-committal about rereleases in the past but then made sculpts available again. My understanding was that Roderich was going to be retooled for the new slim body she's working on. It might take a couple of years, but I'm sure he'll be available again. And in the meantime you will certainly have gained access to the secondhand MP. He's not terribly difficult to get, but he has been recast so be careful of provenance if you decide to go that route.
I should really take some new photos of my Roderich now that he has a pro face-up. I hated my own paint job on him, so he got ignored for yeeeeears.

 

@St. James A-at least yours has a body! I'm pretty sure when mine finally get some there're just going to choke me in my sleep.

 

Yeah, we got all angsty waiting more than a year for their Dollshe Pure bodies to ship, as if it even matters now. I'm so slow about getting dolls finished. I think seven years is becoming my average? XD

 

Please do take pictures! . I have heard about his recast, I will definitely be cognizant of that when on my search and I will be keeping my fingers crossed on a reworked Roderich!

 

Well, Julia posted on Instagram that she'd been getting so many questions about Roderich she finally confirmed that he will be rereleased on the new slim 70cm body along with Neil and Lazuli.
The slim body has a 12.5cm neck, so the older heads will not fit this new body. She says his face has finer details in the new version. He looks a bit different to me. I suppose when the body is finished I'll be choosing between Neil and Lazuli.

I wonder how different Lazuli will look as his original version was discontinued so she could update the head to fit the new body she was working on. I loved the old version, but never got around to buying one.

Edit: I just saw the new Roderich head and I agree @St. James, the head looks more intense/severe to me now.

 

Slim seems to mean "slim relative to the massive body currently available."

 

Hi all!

Yesterday I got a Roderich head in NS. Right now he is wearing a DollShe Rhythmos body in oriental skin. Their colors match ok and neck hole size fits ok too.

But I would like to know other body options, by color and size.

Any of you could help me with this issue?

After a rather long drawn out shipping ordeal, my DFA 68cm bodies are here! I bought them for my LLT Roderich twins and got them color matched for Volks Normal. The heads work on them perfectly. I sadly won't be able to take pictures until some time tomorrow, but I'm so glad these heads finally have bodies after 10 years. LOL

 

Does anyone know if the company still operates? How do you order their dolls?, I’ve been checking their new website for a while and it’s still doesn’t work properly...

So, after 10 or so years my heads finally have bodies. I'm very pleased with the fit and proportions.

Wow!! he looks perfectll

 

My twins Enna and Ciaran are finally all put together!...mostly. They still don't have their proper eyes, and Enna (on the viewers left) needs a different wig. But this is the closest I've had them to being done in almost 10 years, so wanted to take a few pictures. There faceups were done by the lovely Angel Toast and their mole placement is special. They're mirror images of each other and if you chart most of their moles they make up the Gemini constellation.

@Cloudedmind Congratulations! They are gorgeous! It's a nice feeling to have them sort of done, isn't it? I'm not sure our Roderich twins ever felt quite finished before we repurposed them for a different character.

 

@Cloudedmind Congratulations! They look soooo good! Do you mind if I ask what bodies they're on? I've been trying to find some that have compatible heeled feet

 

@St. James Thank you and yes! They've been long overdue, but I'm glad to finally be getting to the finish line with these two. Next up will hopefully be my Edria head which I think is the last of my really old heads that needs a body or doesn't have one on order.

@Constance I have both of them on a Doll Family-A 68cm body. DF-A does resin matching and already had a sample for Volks so that's the resin color I got the bodies in since my LLT heads are a decent match to mellowed Volks resin. The heeled feet I'm using here are the Monochrome ones, Heel Feet for Guys. They are a perfect fit, and their Apricot color is a really good match to DF-A's version of Volks normal. More so then Volks' actual normal when it's fairly new. I could even get my guy to stand in his heels on a flat surface.

In contrast my Volks Ernest also has a pair of Monochrome heel feet in White and I can't get him to really stand in heeled shoes. The ankle joint on the SD17 and SD13 bodies is bigger then the ankle of the Monochrome feet so they kind of just move around loosely. On an aside after getting some heeled legs with my Luts SDF Slender body I wish Volks would make heeled legs for their SD17, SDGr, and SD13 Revival boy bodies.

 

@Cloudedmind - They look great! I love the mirror-constellation-moles - that's a wonderful touch!

If Volks made heel legs or even just heeled feet for their boy bodies, I'd empty my wallet immediately
