what do you mean? is it small neck hole?

 

Could you take a picture of the neck problem? Also, can you measure the neck and tell us the size?

 

I ahve vampire vincent too, he's really lovely. Didn't expect Julia to open up an international store. I haven't tried him on a body yet so I can't comment about the neck soze problem.

 

I'm looking at the Roderick as a possible replacement for one of my dolls. I was so sad to hear that he's going to be limited though. I never have any luck with limited dolls (especially when they are so few in number, like this one will be).

Are these heads more 60cm-sized or 70cm-sized?

 

S-sigh I fell fell in love with Roderich at first sight. ;A; I'm really hoping to nab him..he'd be perfect for one of my OCs...

 

hi~ the new head will adjust neck size, and finally decided = 11cm, I think it can march with SSDF body now ^^

 

Oh, that's wonderful to hear! 11 cm should make the neck opening more easily compatible with the taller range of bodies. ^^; Now I really hope I'll be able to get one of heads in time ...

The heads (and the elf) are up for sale. I'm disappointed because I was expecting new pictures of Roderich, with make-up and actual resin color. I was very interested with this head but I'm undecided because I want to see more...

Also, it's not a good idea IMHO to let the Hetalia fan-art as concept design on the site. You should sell your Roderich sculpt (which is great and beautiful) but not using the Hetalia character for advertising.

 

really love the Roderich head, but have been on a major dollie binge recently and not sure if I should...

might have to twist my own arm since he's limited but it will have to be towards the end of the order period

Yeah I believe that's still his sculpted head. Like the one two pictures over. I do wonder if the last few pictures of Vincent though are the beauty resin color.

OK. I can see more in the image on the far left. The texture. And that lip is definitely colorized.

I dunno. I like what I see in the sculpt, but as a newbie I'd like the option of getting a whole doll from one place instead of piecing him together. I also never heard back from a question I emailed two weeks ago.

 

I know what it is said before, but the concept of Roderich is based off of a Hetalia character 8(

The head in the pictures isn't a resin head but the sculpted head. The Vincent pictures are of a resin head, so I'm going to assume the resin for Roderich will be similar, but personally I'd still like to see it.

 

That would be a big factor if I bought i, I want too see the final product first 8(

Id like to get Roderich as Tan, but it would need a group order. There's notice on site that if 10 people buy it as Tan, it is possible to make. I wonder if anyone else would want it as Tan...

I placed the order through email for combined order after LLT replied me once. But Miho (who suspected to be sculptor in my guess?) replied quite slow TvT;; I group order with my friend who orders Vincent Vampire head. No respond for combined order yet. Hopefully the head is still reserved.

 

I may be placing an order for Roderich, but I would like to see him in resin and with a face-up (not photoshopped!) first. I hope there are pictures of him before the ordering period is over.

 

I'd be interested in a tan one too, though at the same time, I wonder what their tan would match. I don't know much about tan, but I hear it can vary a LOT? :I Worries me a bit... And definitely seeing a resin cast head would be a perk.

 

I don't think these heads come with face-ups, there's certainly no option to buy one from what I can see. However, the head in resin would be nice to see.

 

While I am in love with Roderich, I think I'm going to hold out on purchasing his head until it is cast in resin and we see what colors he mataches.

 

OK. As far as I know. Roderich is now under casting process. The maker of the doll said she is now taking pre-orders for the head.
But I am not sure if that means she needs to collect orders before she know how many heads to cast or she will cast some while taking pre-orders online....

The original announcement said they were a Chinese company, but I can't find any other info.

I'm planning to put Roderich on a 70cm body also. The promotional photos seem to show him on an SD17 body in the last shot, but the angle makes it difficult to tell what the proportions actually look like. I've got a white DOI body to try him on, but I'm guessing I'll go for a Super Senior Delf while I wait to see Dollstown's 18yr boy body finished.
I'm not too concerned about his head looking small since he needs to fit in with my Volks Genji and Soom Onyx.

I am little worried, too. I asked them questions and placed an order, but I havent got any responses.
Does anyone know which are Vincent's eyes and wigs size? It says eyes 14mm / 16mm. I want to know which eyes are used in the photo. wig size is kind of confusing, too.

 

BabyJJ put Vincent's head on a SSDF body. The heads neck size was to small though. This hopefully won't be a problem with Roderich as his neck hole is bigger.

 

Their Roderich head is really gorgeous! I wonder if they're going to continue making Hetalia based heads? In which case Ivan please!

As far as I know, Vampire Vincent is limited to 20 heads (not sure this is a separate amount for white / normal skin or not). Roderich head is period limited which you could pre-order within period time. In case other than that, I guess Miho might update some more information. You maybe you could send email to ask her?

I've already asked M_Mihael and she replied that they will be shipped directly from China.
And I also got a confirmation about my order and a combination order with my friend, Raykit too.
It took several days before they will answer your mail or confirm your order.
I've waited for 3 days each time before they answer my mail. -_-"

 

Thanks for the picture BabyJJ! Looking at the picture his head might do better on a 60cm body. I'm getting a doll that'll have a 70cm body so I may just do a test fit with the Roderich head once I get it before buying a body for him.

 

Hmm, looks to me like the problem is just that the neck hole is too small so the head sits too high on the neck. I guess we'll see when he gets here.

 

Just want to let everyone know that I've talked to the sculptor and she told me the skin tone will be close to Volks.
but since the coloring process is done by human.. there may be some variation.. hopefully not much off.
And the new neck size is 11cm

 

Many of us have probably already found out (I know I check the LLT site at least twice every day for updates, haha!), but just thought I'd mention that several new photos of the Roderich head have been posted. Although the photos are grayscale, it definitely looks like this is the finished resin version of the head. ^^ I think it looks marvelous!

 

Oh gosh, he looks so gorgeous. I paid for a Roderich head a few days ago. I did the shipping and the head in separate payments, because the shipping option wasn't working then. I haven't gotten a confirmation yet, but I'm sure it's coming, seeing as it seems they take a few days to get back to people. Oh my, I can't wait to get this beautiful guy~

Roderich head is simply gorgeous! It might be my imagination, but in some pictures it's just look like he has ... teeth? O_O"? (I'm not so sure, it might be a shadow).
