I got mine earlier! It was missing an item so I couldn't pay yet, but I thi k she's starting to send them out.

 

I got the invoice today as well. Mine was received at 4:48am EST.

 

I think I got my invoice!

But there is no reference what I ordered...just an invoice #. Is this how they look?

Edited to add: Ok...when I click on the invoice it then says what I ordered...

I randomly got sent another invoice for my order with a different amount. There was some confusion and some back and forth emails and I'm trying to get my amount confirmed. Did anybody else receive a second mistake invoice? I asked her to confirm everything and got a price breakdown and she said that the order will be shipped by the end of this year? I wonder if production is just faster or if that was inaccurate. I'd love for it to be that fast lol!

 

I've also received one! but it says it's the first bill? i wonder if that's a typo

 

Glad I'm not alone! Mine says first bill too, which is why I was confused. Let me know what she says? I'm surprised the second bill would be due this fast

 

They just got back to me: seems like they used the first bill's template by accident, but the amount reflected should be correct. If you let them know, they should correct it for you.

 

I guess I'm just confused because I was under the assumption the order period would be much longer, and the second half of the doll would be due much later. So I didn't know if it was a mistake for a second first bill. But they got back to me and it looks like the final payment, very exciting.

 

I thought I read for both international and domestic there was 3 months to pay? Although the language was a lil confusing. I paid my balance last week early because I got some extra funds and didn't want to accidentally miss the deadline.

 

I also received a second invoice labeled as the first invoice. I assumed it was correct since I checked both invoices' details. The amounts were correct. I wasn't expecting it so soon since I assumed second payment would reflect a soon to ship date. This was in the previous order confirmation email.

"*If you do not leave a message to pay the full amount, we default to the order to be paid in 2 installments. The first installment is half the order amount plus postage, and the second installment is the other half of the order amount."

 

At some point their was an option for a two or three month layaway. The final ordr instructions said two months. I asked fir the three months and that's what I got.

 

That's all really interesting because it's completely different from what I was told, but either way I'm happy to pay for him! I originally told her I didn't even need layaway. On top of that she revised my invoice several times (on her own) to correct amounts. So needless to say this order process has been confusing, but like I said, I'm just happy for him and am so excited I was able to snag Brilthor

 

Yeah I received the second invoice aswell- on the 30th of september, also with the template for the first, but the amount was in accordance with what remained to be paid, so I paid yesterday.

While it was a surprise to get it so early, I saw that the deadline was a month away, so it seems like a good proactive move on their part.

For those who can pay right away this may help LLT with the brunt of the production costs maybe, I don't know. And for those who can't pay right away at the very least get a set date (with hopefully an opportunity to extend a bit as in reality it is a rather large chunk of change for most to just pay there and then.)

This is my first pre-ordered full doll, all of my others were adopted, so it's very exciting. I always knew that if I ever did pre-order a full-doll it would be an LLT, but I assumed it would be a re-release of my grail; Neil. Brilthor is so beautiful though and she posted pictures of his sculpt very early on, so I kinda had a lot of time to justify and re-justify the expenditure to myself.


Has anyone pre-bought eyes? Are we thinking 14/5? Smaller? Oval?

 

Adding on to the eye question, would anyone know what size might be a close fit, other than 5th Motif? Any Popo, Loongsoul or other 70 sizes that come close?
(Sorry if this has been asked before!)

 

I know alot of taobao sellers do make LTT size but I'm not sure on eyes either. 14/5 and 14/6 are my go-to for 70cm+ dolls

 

I got my second invoice. I'm thinking I only got two payments. So it looks fine.

 

So does anyone know if that means that those who already completed the payment will receive their dolls soon? Because initially the documents said that first payment was due right away and the second invoice would come a month before shipping out. Seeing as many of us have received and paid the final invoice does that mean they will ship soon?

 

I bought on Taobao where the 2nd installment has to be paid within 3 months of the deposit payment (so, by November) I asked about the construction period, and received the reply that it would take an estimated year, so I don’t think it is soon…

 

Okay so I'm not the only one who saw this, thanks. I thought I was going crazy. There was a lot of changes and odd wording, but I 100% saw that the other half was due before the doll was released. When she changed it, she then said the dolls would be shipped in December, but I don't believe that because I keep hearing a year.

I'm willing to wait the year and fully expected it, but it's all so confusing

 

But I find that strange as all prior releases shipped between 2-3 months of full purchase (as far as I've seen).

 

Did they? Because all I've heard is that LLT is part of the 1 year club. I don't think I've heard otherwise. Not doubting you, now I'm just confused.

 

No, for the 2021 Roderich preorder, the doll was ready and shipped around 8 months after 2nd payment.

 

Yeah I see, I very well could be mistaken, it's just what I've gleaned from the LLT feedback/review threads. This was all compounded by them saying it would be shipped out a month from the final payment so I just assumed.
I'm sure I could just ask her but I feel odd doing so.

 

From what i understand, there are 2 batches: first 300 orders take 6 months, the next 300 take a year. Shipping time could depend on when you ordered.

 

Yup my agent was also told 1 year and the 6 months per batch order info is still up on her Taobao.

I wonder though if she has a different production schedule for international though?

 

I received a 3rd invoice just now which was odd. I hastily paid it, but it seems I had already paid for this one singular thing (pointed feet) in the previous two invoices. I emailed asking if maybe there was a mistake. Hope I hear back soon.

It took a few days for a reply, but it turns out it was a mistake, and I was refunded!

 

I just got tracking for my Brilthor and all the extras! Wow that was fast!

 

I got tracking too, but I'm a bit concerned because I ordered two dolls (email mentions "doll") and I bought blank dolls only (email mentions that clothes and gloves will be send separately)
I wrote them to please clarify if this is the correct tracking number for my order. Another person told me they only ordered one blank doll and their email does not mention gloves/outfits, so my idea that maybe they just used this standard message for everyone is not true

 

My email mentions clothing and gloves being sent separately too, but then she gave me the same tracking number as the doll, so I'm not sure if she means now or later?

 

I emailed them about it, and it seems that gloves and clothes are expected to be shipped out around March? The Lunar New Year's coming up, so i expect the factory will be taking a break during the holidays.

 

I got the impression that the clothes would be sent later.

 

They were really fast with the domestic shipping! It arrived overnight to my warehouse sharing in the anticipation jitteries as he is currently en route to me

 

They've not replied to my original email, nor the one I sent yesterday. Guess I'll just have to sit here and hope for the best when the package arrives

 

They haven't replied to mine either. They were pretty fast before, wonder if they're just busy. We'll see! I've seen people get the outfits and stuff already though so it's pretty confusing.

Sigh. I just want to know if both my dolls are coming, and they don't intend to send me gloves/clothes I haven't ordered

 

My agent followed up and told me end of March my tan Roderich would be ready, which works well for me cause I will be traveling most of March (going to India) and prepping for that most of this next month so I would have no time to spend with him. This gives me a minute to find some clothes, eyes, etc, as well. Maybe see if I can pick up a pair of black gloved hands from xianyu too.

 

The wait is driving me nuts, because not only did LLT never reply but tracking is also not moving. So much for "express" shipping Not sure it even has left the country yet.

I got my Brilthor today and I'm both happy and sad. His box got so beat up there was a hole pierced all the way through the shipper, into the doll box and into the foam. There's several holes all over his box and the box was completely unprotected inside from blades/damages etc. The shipper was a lot softer than it probably should have been for a doll that size and the lack of quality in the cardboard ruined my doll's box completely.

As for the doll, he's a total work of art. I got him in the light tan with all the extras and I can't describe this but his skin looks... real?! I've only ever handled her normal skin dolls before, but the resin was different. Just normal resin, but the look and feel of this light tan is incredible. I really like the widening of the new arms a lot and feel it suits my boy.

I'll never get over how beautiful these feet are. The entire doll just looks like a statue in doll form, I adore him. His resin texture seriously looks like real skin.

I wonder what eye size will suit Brilthor. I wasn't expecting them to be so small, so I'm thinking maybe 8mm or narrow?

 

I got my Brilthor today! He's wonderful. I got the two kinds of extra feet and a couple of the ballet tights.

 

I got my Brilthor a couple days ago. At first I was disappointed that I forgot to order the ballet feet but I got over that quickly. He is gorgeous!

 

So your Brilthor came with everything else in box? I also bought feet and 2x ballet tights but I was afraid it would come in an extra shipment. My guy should be here in the next couple of days.

 

I order extra feet, ballet tights and the special outfit. I received the doll, feet and ballet tights. I think it's only the special outfit that is delayed.

 

Yes. I was surprised it was included. But I guess according to @nancy_schroeder_ca - it may be just the special outfit being delayed?

Good news: LLT finally replied to my emails, after I left a comment on Julia's newest post.
They did in fact send me my two dolls, and not just one/not accidentally gloves or an outfit I didn't order.

Bad news: The damn package still has not moved an inch. It's been 11 days now of "Received by the carrier", and since then it's been sitting at the airport (and overall the package got dropped off on the 17th...so in a couple days it will be a month of it cruising through China/sitting around at the airport). Considering Lunar New Year festivities are in full swing I doubt anything will happen the next week either. Sigh. And then it still has to arrive in Germany and go through customs
I hope I'll get it by the end of February.

Honestly wish they had offered different shipping options. I rather pay out of my ass for DHL or Fedex at this point, especially for a package carrying such expensive goods

retain it’s color much better - at least in my Edria heads it has).

My guys finally arrived yesterday! Thankfully no damage, even if some of the corners were completely shattered and one outer box had been punctured several times
But inside boxes, as well as dolls, were fine.

I am absolutely smitten with my Brilthor. Honestly wouldn't mind owning a second one, that face is so perfect!

Hello everyone ^^ sorry for the weird question, but is the ballerino body or a full doll available for pre-order now? I see these items as available on taobao and they don't even marked as 9999$ as when it's sold out.

 

Julia hasn't announced any order periods since 2023 for Brilthor and she only sells them as full dolls, so if you're seeing them sold as a pre-order on Taobao they are definitely not legit.
