I hate it when this tread goes to the second page - these are such sweet dolls I'm not sure why there isn't more interest. On a positive note my 4 new sweeties arrived today. They are laying out on the bags to warm up due to our frigid wheater so I haven't played with them yet, but have looked at their faces and they are all sooooo cute and special.

I hope to have my DIL show me how to post pictures, as soon as I learn I will be spaming these cuties

She has different hair and eyes now but I haven't done a photo shoot with her for a while so I have no pics yet of her new hair or eyes. The face up is the same though :]

Merlin's Mom: Her hair is still pink! Has a white stripe in the front and its a shorter fur wig now. Her eyes are pink as well but have a yellow star, kind of anime-ish :] she is my pink cotton candy girl for sure XD

Hi Neena - yes I got the company faceup - I can't use the MSC because of my asthma. I am afraid she may be a little pale, but I may be able to add some blush to her cheeks. Now the long wait

 

I didn't make it, I bought from DOA really. It was listed as Angell-Studio bunny suit. Which I tried to search photos before I bought it, but had no luck finding any. Though it does have the AS little tag on the inside. :\

I finally decided to buy my first Tiny from Island Doll because I couldn't wait 4 months for my favorite dollmaker (off-topic for this thread) to make one. I found an in-stock Cherubim from the Wind Island line and took the plunge when my collection is all 62-75 cm, so this will be a big change! I think this Cherubim comes on a girl body, but tinies are androgynous enough that I'm going to dress her as a boy and call it a day. I've liked seeing how everyone has styled their tinies so far!

I have Jessie and absolutely adore her. I have named her Oona and kept her without a wig because I think it makes her face stand out even more. She is my first BJD, but she'll need friends soon and Sophia is next on my list. She has the Island skin which is very pretty...pale, but not white.

 

She's beautiful! I especially like that photo of her with the rabbit and basket.

Hello! My sweet little MegaMaiden X is a blue modded Island Doll Dafne on a Batchix Mini-Machina body and I am so completely in love with her sweet and sleepy little face!
Here is a picture of her almost complete faceup (she needs lashes and gloss) her colour is more of a turquoise blue than she looks here.

I received few days ago two tiny bjd An An (in sunburned) and Mian Mian (in island... The two colors of resin are really reaaally close). I love them so much ! I would like to know if everyone here have them ? And what kind of make-up they have ^ ^.


I think I will do An an like a cheetah and Mian Mian like... I don't know yet ! XD
The black dress is now on my Tinycherry Lulu from Cerisedoll so I want to find some new clothes for my An an where do you think I can find them ?

Aww~ They're all so cute I'm seriously considering buying the Sense Circus Honey, he fuels my circus obsession On a side note, how long does it take for Island Doll to ship their dolls after you order? The average 3 months or less/more?

Hi Rabbit-moon. I have Jesse and Artemis - they are both double jointed. They seem to be strung pretty tight so they can be a little kicky.

Thanks for your response! I'm so glad the Island Doll tinies are double-jointed. I am so not interested in a doll that is only single-jointed.

It was so inspiring I finally decided to order Island Doll's Wind Sapphire! He's such a cutie!

I got him to partner with one of my 5Star tinies. I hope his head is large enough so that he doesn't look odd next to her.

Maybe you can help me? How do your 26cm 5Star girls look standing next to one of your Island Doll girls? Are the heads of a comparable size?

 

Yes I think they are comparable - they wear the same size wig.
