Iplehouse seems to be on it! I ordered SID Dean and SID Vanessa (both blank) at the end of July during the summer sale and they were shipped on September 6 and 8, respectively.

I didn't order with faceup and I wonder if that's why mine shipped quicker..

 

Anyways, here is my Dimitri, I did his faceup so I can finally show him

My Dean arrived today, and I am smitten:


He didn't have an outer shipping box, the doll box was wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap and a layer of Tyvek (or similar heavy plastic). The box corners are a bit banged up, but he's fine. The thick foam insert protected him well.

My Vanessa is still traveling, so I'll probably be back in here in a day or two when she arrives.

 

As I mentioned in my last post, here I am two days later. My Vanessa arrived and gave me a little bit of grief when I was trying to dress her; completely on brand for her personality.



She also didn't have an outer shipping box, and the doll box was wrapped in bubble wrap and a gray heavy plastic (maybe it's Tyvek, maybe not?). Both dolls are absolutely fine, it's just that it messes up the corners of the doll box a bit and is quite a bit more frustrating to open. The plus is that there isn't a giant shipping box to break down and store/recycle.

@Quirked - Congrats on both these lovely sculpts! Hope you'll share again when they have face-ups. ^_^ That's interesting about the lack of shipping boxes. The FID I bought earlier this year still came in a box.

 

I'll definitely share them, but probably in the general big Iplehouse doll thread. ^^

RE: shipping boxes: Maybe it's just the larger dolls? Shipping prices have always been high, but they were a shock after not having bought any dolls in 5+ years. I guess shipping like that is to cut costs? Shipping boxes aren't exactly cheap, even in bulk. And shipping prices are definitely pretty high with any carrier now. I know USPS rates change based on the dimensions of your shipping box, maybe EMS is the same?

I had originally made one order that contained both of them, but Iplehouse Customer Service contacted me and told me the shipping would actually be more than what the website calculated ($208) -- they said the shipping would actually cost $275 if I wanted them shipped together. They then said if they were split into separate orders, the total shipping between the two would be $228. I'd rather pay $20 more than $67 more, so we went the route of splitting the orders lol.

 

Is the Iplehouse website working for anybody else? Since Yesterday I've tried getting in but it tells me it can't reach the page. I tried googling it and the same thing. Just wondering if it was just me.

 

@Bren The site doesn't seem to be working for anyone right now.
I'm not waiting on anything from them right now, but as the topic came up in other Iplehouse threads I thought someone should let the waiting room know it's down just in case.

There is a holiday going on over there until about the 5th, but it's still worrying to see the site down for so long.

 

Thank you so much for letting me know. I'm not waiting for anything myself but I did go to look to see what they were up to and was surprised. Hopefully they will fix it to give peace of mind to those who do.

 

I came back to DoA to ask the same thing! I wish they announce those schedule more promptly.

Ooh, a September order arrived! I ordered Doria right at the end of September, and I'm so excited!

 

I'm back in the waiting room! I definitely forgot that this was a thing since I haven't ordered company dolls for a while now 0__0. Ordered an HID Raffine through Doll Choice (in WS). Also ordered a couple pairs of hands with her. I did my clothing order separately and I have so many iple shoes it's not even funny, so I just got the doll this time around.

 

I love Rania on HID, did you request makeup? If so, what did ya request?

 

I'm gonna do my own makeup - and about a zillion tattoos. She's going to be the big version of my FID Raffine Echo! I'm excited to get to work on those tattoos and stuff in more detail than I could get on the FID size.

 

Oh goodness! I was NOT expecting that. . . just checked and she's shipping. After 8 days! It's like old times!

Thanks to @CloakedSchemer , I have learned that if one wants an Iplehouse pet, and one is willing to purchase said pet blank (cuz Iplehouse had major issues with blushing), such a thing is in fact possible.
Yeah. I definitely ran to the Support section and begged for a kitty.
Then I learned that Iplehouse also made big cats. Like a puma. And a panther.
And I am a sucker for big dolls. Big cat doll? Yes, please.

 

It's been YEARS since I've logged on this site and slowly getting back into this hobby. Right as I started getting back into it, Iplehouse Vampire Dane was available and.....I did not hesitate. He's finally finished and just waiting for him to come home!!! I'm so excited and hope he'll be the right height for my eid Asa. She's been waiting for eternity for a bf.

 

My girl got here yesterday, she's absolutely gorgeous! 15 days from order to arrival!

 

Yep, I asked about certain dolls/sculpts before, and was granted my wish.
A lot of people just stopped "asking" and gave up once they saw that Iple discontinued them.
So if you really WANT something/someone, just ASK!

 

But don't ask for Luna. Luna is permanently discontinued. I asked. Well, begged. They were very annoyed with me.

 

Doria is shipping! Well, DoriaS, lol (I got the vampire and the human head). I placed my order on 9/30/2023, @luluna - so, not much longer?

Has anyone else been having problems getting the Iplehouse website to load recently? Pinging it via isitdownrightnow seems to imply that the problem is only on my end, but I'm just curious if others are experiencing the issue too.

 

It loads for me, but I can't log in. It doesn't recognize my username/password any more.

 

Doria is a great fit for the Impldoll new Model body. Normal skin resin is a touch pinker than Impldoll real skin, which is a tad more orange, but a light dusting of pink pastels should color match nicely:

 

I logged out, and logged in, with no problem (I'm using Chrome)

 

If I'm using Chrome, I have to log in twice. I don't know why - that's just how Iplehouse's website rolls. I log in, the page refreshes, and I'm not logged in. But if I hit log in again, then it sticks.
I dunno. But I don't have that problem with Firefox.

 

It seems Iplehouse has an issue with our internet provider and one of our major mobile networks (the site times out no matter what browser I use). Using a different mobile network or a VPN bypasses the block.

While I'm relieved to know that Iplehouse's website isn't totally off the table for me right now, it's annoying that I have to go through so much trouble just to access their site. Which is a bummer, because they're pretty much dependent on it for placing orders / answering inquiries, and are difficult to reach via other channels.

 

Has iplehouse stopped making new sculpts? I havent seen anything new since a while now..

 

I believe David was the last doll issued, and that may have been around 2 years ago.

 

I'm so excited, I placed my first order to iplehouse in 8 years. A SID Edan I'm so hyped and impatient for him to ship!

 

After taking a long "doll break" (had a kid and disconnected from the doll hobby for 4 years) I just placed and order for a FID Tedros in Gray skin + extra hands. I can´t wait to have him home and get a friend for my FID Soo ^^
How long is the waiting time right now ?

 

2 months. I've ordered with makeup & with out.
My last order (with makeup) was placed the end of December, and it just shipped

 

Oh woh o_o ! I am used to wayyyyy longer waiting time. I guess I will have to start my hunt for wig, eyes and shoes (already bought clothes).
Talking about wig. On IH website they say 5-6" but are 6-7" way too big or does it work fine ?

 

I ordered Asa with makeup (EID Asa "A" type, put YID Bliss "B" type brows) the end of December, and she arrived yesterday. Seems like Iple is using "good" artist once again.

Well, I placed the order for my dark brown Benny!... and in an attempt to reset my password through my account, somehow set it to something... wrong... and now it won't let me log in. And all attempts to have a temporary password to my email address have failed (I whitelisted every possible email address and it STILL won't come!) I emailed the webmaster but I have no idea how long that will take and I don't have my order number because it logged me out! But I know the order went through and I have my paypal receipt. I'm trying not to panic but not being able to see the order is bothering me.
