    2. @luluna that is beautiful! Do you find the real skin makes a difference? I also got the glow effect, but have no idea what it looks like because I've never been to a doll meet up.

      • x 1
    3. Thank you! RS is just lovely...and I prefer the glow real skin as it has a more luminous look to it. Sometimes (but not always) regular real skin can look a tad chalky compared to it.

I find all Real Skin resins photograph well under natural and artificial lighting conditions.

All the resins tones are nice...there is really no bad choice. :)

Here she is again under more natural light.

    5. Can FIDs be put on layaway? Cuz Luna is back and I am sorely tempted... also I am so sad I missed the pink beagle. SO CUTE.

      • x 1
    6. @Scholar
yes, you can put FID's on layaway.

    7. Adds one more doll to the list Caleb's just too pretty <3 Happy V-day to me. :love

Oh looks like I'm the first Feb order on the list too.

    8. @Tippetarius Congrats on getting your Caleb.

@luluna It's great to see Avery again. She is so lovely and I love her in that outfit.

    9. Ah yes, forgot to "watch" the new thread.

      @luluna - Stella makes such a lovely model. ^_^

@Scholar - Gethergethergether. As for the beagle, I think at least one of those spots looks like it's meant to be a heart, huh?

@Tippetarius - Congrats! Glad to see someone is getting that cyborg arm at least! I'm eyeing him, but I want his body more than his head, and I'm running out of room anyway. (So terrible sounding.)

    10. @Sianserais I contacted them and they said she was already purchased. XD Otherwise I totally would have given her a home. SO CUTE. That's okay. More funds to stash for a possible Luna. <3

    11. Hey everyone! I ordered a doll choice yid Wendy in realskin over the winter sale and I'm sooo eager. Has anyone gotten any shipping notices from the event yet?

      • x 1
    12. My Fay shipped today! ordered him on the 19th december :O

      • x 2
    13. I ordered the first morning of the winter event and have my 2 SID girls (one doll choice no fu and one regular order with fu) as of 1/31/20. Maybe I got it soon because I was at the beginning of the sale. I ordered clothes and shoes too. Do others have their event orders yet?

    14. I am still waiting, ordered one FID in realskin with custom makeup on the 5th december.

    15. I'm still waiting on my end of Dec, start of Jan orders, but figure I got a touch longer as event around then.

    16. I'm awaiting the new Dylan sculpt, looking forward to an Iple, although I've never had one as large as the EID.

      • x 1
    17. I'm waiting for an YID Nancy. Will Iplehouse send out an e-mail when ones order has been shipped? This is my first time ordering from Iplehouse.. >.<

      • x 1
    18. They're supposed to, and as far as I know they still do, but some of us haven't been receiving them. I've run into a similar issue on another (non doll) site where the staff realized some service providers weren't playing nice with theirs, and delaying or even ignoring emails. Unfortunately, they still haven't found a solution to that. Of course, I can't really say if that's what's going on with Iplehouse too, but it's possible.

    19. @Sianserais Thank you for answering my question! I guess I will just continue to check my order status daily.... just to make sure the doll doesn't ship without me noticing! So exciting t be waiting for a new doll :kitty1:kitty1:kitty1

      • x 1
    20. Did you receive an order-confirmation email? I didn't even get that the last two times. If you did, you may be fine. Whatever the problem is, it seems to have started in the last 4-6 months.

    21. @Sianserais No- I did not receive an order-confirmation email. It left me slightly confused and I ended up writing them on their Q&A board, making sure they had received my order- lucky everything was fine.

    22. @Lotte Rotten - Okay, then you're probably right to keep an eye on the site! Good luck!

    23. I ordered my first Iplehouse and first large doll (Aria) for my collection earlier in the month. 60-90 business days puts me somewhere between May and June delivery. I'm excited for when she gets here. All my previous dolls have been in stock from store within the US since I'm new to the hobby... So this is also my first made to order doll. :) I'm also seriously considering getting her a companion, but I wanted to see her in person before I decided on that.

      • x 1
    24. @VeraLyne - That's a good idea. There's really no other way to be sure if a doll type is for you without actually handling them. I know the wait can be a drag sometimes, but you get used to it if you keep adding to the collection. Or at least some of us do. The good news is that Iplehouse isn't one of the companies putting people through 6-12 month waits lately...
Do you have any particular plans for her?

Edit: :: Adds March to the Waiting Room List. ::

    25. I'm definitely going to be making outfits for her as I am learning to sew better. I hope once I'm better at doll scale, I can be less intimidated by the idea of sewing human size clothing...

None of my dolls are scaled with each other (I have a Pukifee and a 40cm Big Baby) at the moment. I would like to build a small doll family with 1/3 size as parents... but this doll would be the first in the group while I look at sculpts to figure out what I want.

    27. Edit: Whoops! I think I might have post it at the same time as the message above!

I've ordered a BID Linda on the 15th of Dec, still no news and says "payment completed
(preparing to deliver)". Ordered a wig in the same order.

They've updated this recently. I just saw it this morning:

    28. Maybe it's me, and I'm being silly, but does anyone else watch/check the support/Q&A area to get a sense of the volume of orders and what orders are being asked about? The way that order numbers are generated seem to be the date of the order and the number of orders that day? So when I see partials in the subject like #1912... that's December 2019 order, and #2001 is a January 2020 order. Absent any other indicators as how production is moving along, I'm trying to do my own form of divination...

    29. you are correct about how order #'s are made (date of order + # of the order that day) . What you forget is that this is on the english website and they have i think 5 language sites? so you only see 1/5 of the communication with respect to the Q/A board. also I too follow the board (and have for the last 7 years) and it depends on what is happening in general to affect the board...Example new doll comes out and you get a flood of questions about the doll in general. Also I messaged late about 'adding' items (making my order take longer since it was extra blushing), what you wouldn't see was my order # in the subject. So you really can't judge by the board in that sense. You can get an idea if there are issues.... and I have learned over the years who the 'worry warts' are by the # of post a single person might make lol.

    30. @Lady Tiku - Thanks for sharing all the extra info! You are correct that I had not considered the other language sites. I'm trying to not bother Iplehouse for status updates so that they can focus on creation and on processing orders. I am still very new to this world, so I'm happy to learn from those that have been here longer, so I appreciate you sharing your wisdom.

      • x 2
    31. I know what you mean by bothering Iplehouse. I've been tempted to contact them a few times, but since the pending parcels notice I'm sure they're stacking up all the orders safely there. I prefer them to have my doll waiting there to be sent rather that keep going around with the current situation. When did you ordered your doll?

    32. I ordered a Camilla through dollchoice on the nSID body in peach gold on Friday.
I ordered her blank so I could get an elf ear mod done for her~

      • x 2
    33. I placed one order on 11/29 and got it on 1/24
Placed another order on 12/29 and I'm still waiting. Looks like I'll be waiting longer now due to the Coronavirus (sigh)

    34. I ordered my doll 12/5 and it was shipped from Seoul 3/3 via Qatar, and that is the last tracking I have... I live in Norway.

    35. Oh dear. I assume this was sent EMS which takes days. I would ask them to check on their end after this week.

    36. I don't think I've ever asked Iplehouse for an order update. Even when one of my dolls years ago took four months to arrive, I knew from the waiting room that many of us who ordered during that particular sale were in the same boat, so I wasn't worried.

@Kaname Kimura - Congrats! Camilla with elf ears should look great! Hope you'll eventually be sharing photos. ^_^

      @Zinna - That's concerning. I assume you have customs/import taxes there, though?

    37. @Zinna So strange... I live in Denmark and had an EMS parcel (from another doll company) being shipped out from S.Korea on 5th March. My parcel is also stuck in Qatar and I have had no updates on it since it arrived in Qatar... ;___;

    38. Very good news today, my girl has arrived my country and is in the customs/taxes office today. Thank you everybody for your consern and support. I hope I will get her this week. :celebrate

    39. Do they send the notice through email when they ship out your order? I didn't get an order confirmation email so I was thinking they only update the status on the site but I'm not sure. It's my first time ordering a bjd

    40. check your settings both on iple and you spam folders. some settings let you opt out of getting email notices. Also they had been experiencing problems with email notices and were looking into it... i do not know the current status of that though. To be on the safe side when you hit about 60 days after your order date check on the site every 3 or 4 days. If you hit the 3 month mark I tend to check almost daily but that's just me :P But don't 'rely' on emails... they can get missed, lost or w/e happens to them and you don't get them... The only sure way is to check on the website.

    41. I didn't get email when they shipped the order, only checked their site every day...

    42. To anyone in Canada: iple is shipping things to us for sure. They sent a clothing order to me. It hasn’t entered Canada yet, so Im not sure what the Mail situation is like within Canada.

    43. I got a package from the USA middle of last week. The time it took was normal for the type of mail used. My Iple order is due to ship any time now so I'm hopeful it will take the usual 3-7 days.

    44. Thanks for the information! I appreciate it. I'm a little antsy truth be told haha I've been checking the site every day when March hit. But considering the current situation and that I ordered during the winter event, I get the wait.

    45. My blank NS Jud just shipped. :celebrateI didn't get a shipping notice for him, just saw it in my account. He took about three months including weekends and holidays from the date I placed my order.

      • x 2
    46. @sakana_hime Congratulations on your doll shipping! I placed my order for my IH girl almost 3 months ago, so maybe there's hope my girl will ship soon as well *fingers crossed*

      • x 2
    47. Thank you! I'm very excited. I ordered on 12/18, so hopefully yours will be coming up soon!

    48. I got my shipping notice! Excited for my FID Luna fullset and FID Bichun to keep her company.

      • x 3
    49. Congrats!!

    50. Congrats on the shipments and may your dolls get through the mail service quickly!

      • x 1
    51. I'm thinking of ordering a FID, but I'm in the UK and Iplehouse have said they are not delivering to the UK via EMS at the moment. Wondered if anyone has ordered from the UK recently and what the status is on your order? Has it not shipped or did it ship around the time of the virus and its been hovering in postal limbo since? Any insight is appreciated. I don't want to order a FID and it has the potential of getting lost in the system or in limbo at Iplehouse somewhere. Don't know if its worth it.

    52. I would order now and contact Iplehouse on Q&A about letting you know whether to ship or hold your order when it's ready. Right now EMS is saying a one month delay. The dolls won't be ready for 2-3 months and a lot can happen in that time. I'm sure you're not alone and IH wants to make and sell dolls so they may need to figure out a policy for international customers.

    53. I'm not in the UK but EMS for large items (i have two dolls waiting) are being kept AT Iplehouse... mine came ready right at a change over lol I got the 'notice' my status had change by email and a tracking number but my status on the websites didn't change. When I asked they explained the 'waybill' was made and it generates the tracking # and the auto email went out but they didn't take it to the post office since it wouldn't get sent at that time. so they keep them at Iple in storage for you

      • x 1
    54. Bingo. Their policy is to hold.

      • x 2
    55. Tracking claims my FID Luna managed to make it onto a plane and here to the US, but it looks like no one here admits to having her yet, so...

    56. Thank you for all your help :) Iplehouse do obviously have a 1-2 month production of a doll and who knows what will happen by the time they have made it. Like someone suggested, they might consider alternate shipping methods during this time. I think I will order and ask Iplehouse the situation and just be patient.

      • x 1
    57. Two items I ordered at the end of Dec suddenly are shipping this past week. :aeyepop: One a big doll and the other a FID.

      • x 1
    58. Yeah, the production time should give some leeway and hopefully things will calm down a bit by the time the doll is ready.

Grats on the shipping notices to those who have them! Hope your dolls come soon.

*sits down to wait* Waiting on a dark brown SID Yur, new body, small bust, mobility thighs, faceup style from the LE SID Yur they did a while back. I'm so excited. <3
