Iplehouse Discussion ( YID, nYID, SID, EID, HID ) Part 11

Hello! Do any of you happen to have jointed hands on your nYID girls, especially in NS? I have considered getting another YID body but I'm beginning to get bored with the default hands being the same, and option hands aren't really that much better. I've always wanted a doll with jointed hands and maybe now is my chance.

 

@vauhtikatti I had one that was perfect in resin match and was a very good jointed hand, it came pre-strung and had wire in it already (Im pretty sure it did at least). Its expensive, but in my opinion, worth the money.

I would show you pictures, but I sold the doll some time ago to get a grail that was made suddenly available.

I had it on my SID woman (new model type) so I imagine it would fit the nYID girls too since Iplehouse has interchangeable hands between those two sizes. The resin match with normal is really really close in esadol normal and iplehouse normal

@GreenTeaSlug I did paint the tattoo! Thank you so much for your kind words~ I was actually considering letting her go for awhile, but giving her this makeover has cemented her place in my crew! She doesn't want to leave now And I got that wig from a friend at a recent doll swap meet too and the moment I put it on her, I knew she had to have it. I actually have no idea where my friend got it from too so I seriously lucked out...

Wow congrats, your Grace looks so stunning in brown skin. Grace is one of he most gorgeous Iplehouse sculpts in my opinion, her face contains both the young and mature vibe.

I really wonder how Grace is on a EID body. I'm intended to order her as an EID one but so afraid of she could turn into bobblehead look. Could anyone here put her on an EID body? (I will be very thankfulll.) I once saw an EID Stella and she looks very great.

Btw you guys I have just checked their website and I don't know if this is a mistake or not but now EID woman's height is only 62.5 cm (which used to be 65 cm before!). Kinda confused here

 

Sadly it seems I cannot order from Sadol as the system doesn't accept my address (Finland doesn't have official states, procvinces or two line addresses.) I tried messing up my address in all fields many ways so that the parcel wouldn't probably even make it home anymore, but still it says invalid address. So, any other ideas for Iple compatible jointed hands, or dealers for Sadol? I wouldn't really like to order directly from Sadol website, since the website is "not secure" and I feel uncomfortable giving my address to such sites.

Edit: actually I managed, putting it in a certain way! Now I have the hands coming in NS, just have to hope they look my address from PayPal and not that mess lol.

 

@vauhtikatti , make sure you contact them, explain what happened and ask them to be careful.

 

@Vivian Nguyen thats the correct height for EID woman, HID woman is 65cm

HID to me, is a version 2 of the EID woman, their measurements are similar that I would think anything that looks great on EID, would look cool on the HID too. You can see the hybrid of Grace on the HID body here by the very helpful @luluna

@vauhtikatti I never use payment direct from any website, I make the order and then ask for their paypal address and manually send them payment with the order number. I then let them know I paid, and the PP transaction ID on their Q&A. I imagine if you ask them to send you an invoice, they would let you since you are having a problem with check out? I have the same issue with my address so I put my correct full address on the special note AND let them know on their Q&A board, they always reply pretty quick !

You can also buy it from FaithZ.com since they are Sadol dealers, send them a link to the hand you want and they should be able to help you I would think

Another dealer is Dolk, Im not sure if they have improved these days but its better to check their review before buying

Hey guys does anyone have Marien? I was interested if what is her head circumference and how big are her facial features comparing to others? What i found interesting with m Grace is that her head is really 21cm, when her face looks smaller then my Limhwa, that is also 21 cm...I was thinking of putting Marien on Dollstown17 body and hope she wont look like a lolly

I wouldnt think the dollstown 17 (the vision body?) would work, I saw hybrids and the neck is tooooooo thin and short. If you like the skinny look for your Marien you can get her on the SID Model body, or the Granado Jane *might* work because of the measurements. I think her neck might be too thin, but the ratio of everything else looks good. I have her on a long layaway so if you have the patience and still are interested I might be able to show you once Jane arrives if you want.


I am always tempted by the black panther, but I dont think I can ever have the courage to press purchase. With dolls, I feel like you get more bang for the buck, change a wig, eye, makeup and its a new doll. The panther is just a panther, and i dont think I have enough interest to be able to justify it and instead get a black panther figure instead. I still love looking at them, those rare and beautiful panthers. There was a photo I cam across a long time ago but I can never find it again. Its of the Puma ( 2 of them!) painted stripes like tigers and with a doll, I think Bliss, dressed like cleopatra with them. If its someone here I would be very happy to see them

Thanks for reply! I saw that girl and I agree she is so pretty! I've made a thorough research and looks like SID heads go well on Dollstown18 bodies, but despite being nice looking hybrids, they are quite big and tall. What I was lookin for was more broad shoulders then a slimmer body, so I'll put mine on EID body since SID heads fo well with EID bodies and v.v.

Also is it hard to get clothes for HID girls? Do they fit most EID tops but not bottoms? I see shoe size is identical.

I've heard different rumors about posing the EID body, so I wrote to Iplehouse and asked them if they are planning to change the body for EID ladies, but they said there are no plans to do so in 2020.

Thank you. I love the lt brown skins. In regards to the EID body, that body you are seeing now is not the original. So it has been changed from when it first came out.

@Onkani I believe I said that I viewed the HID as a version 2 of the EID woman body. I never meant it as a statement from Iplehouse, just my opinion and my view of it. I see it like how SID model body and SID original body are still under the SID size even though they look different.

HID is not a renewed EID, and was never marketed or stated as such, but I saw it as a version 2 because they are very similar in measurements and can share clothes (well, not the HID L bust) and have better jointing + the improved ankle and foot design, so it seemed like a ver 2 of the EID body to me

 

In reality the HID body is a bigger version of the FID Original female body.

@GreenTeaSlug, yep. I remember you saying that you did view it as such.

 

I'm debating about getting a girlfriend for the twelve heads I will have soon and 2 boy bodies I have (which may increase to 4 bodies if Dollshe comes through). I'm looking at Nancy. She will have a small bust. I would either get her as an SID for good poseability or HID. Do you think SID girls look too young to be dating 70cm boys. What's a mother to do?

 

Adults come in many sizes. My mother was 5' 2" and my father was 6'2".

I've decided to get an SID girl but keep wavering on which. I asked IH about a winter sale event and they just answered without details:
"Winter events are scheduled to open in early December." Yay!

Thanks. Yes. I think the face up has to do a lot with it. Characters as well. I know some of my characters may look young but they are in fact centuries older than their companions or mates.
