the web site has been down since late Friday (for me) I and several others have emailed a 'service' email. and I made a post about this on the 'waiting room' thread. The site is messed up good. Somone who knows stuff could see the coding is bad... So my advice is if you appear to get on the site... GET OFF (for your safety). DO NOT LOG IN if by chance you seem to be able... just wait until it is up and running. And if you are on Facebook several Iple groups have been following this. I, if not someone else will definitely post if we hear anything.

I just bought my first EID secondhand. He arrived Monday. I used the extra elastic to restring him. I'd like to have a backup of elastic. Can anyone tell me what size and a good source to buy some?

@Mahgiep ... All the elastic I've ever gotten has been from Volks. It's good material and they have lots of other things that are useful, too.

I have always wondered why my Scarlet head is smaller than other EID heads seem to be, today I discovered her head says SID on the inside. It's kind of funny as she was sold only on EID body.

 

@nancy_schroeder_ca , I bought the head tool, and promptly lost it, LOL. It's GREAT though. I think I need a dedicated tool box for doll stuff now.... Yah, another thing to buy, LOL

 

A box with comparments is great for your doll assembly supplies but a cardboard box will do to start!

 

Does anyone who bought the pet bjds from iplehouse have pictures of them with their dolls? I'd like to get one but I'd like to compare their sizes against the human bjds

 

I have a beagle and a cat, and they're definitely more puppy and kitten than adult-size pets, but I assume from the design that they were meant to be. With an nYIDG:

I think I need a pet doll too. They look so cute.

 

I want to get the tortoiseshell kitten and the panther, but at the moment I'm collecting Gaming Heads Mass Effect statues so the money's not there for BJDs (Garrus, Tali and Mordin were about $360 each whereas Wrex was $600 and my upcoming FemShep was $399)

When I finish with the statues I'll get the kitten

 

I really want the panther, thus why I haven't gotten anything yet, LOL

 

Yes, the panther is nice and big and expensive!

 

I just keep thinking of doing an Art Nouveau set up with one of my girls in a flapper dress, walking her panther! Yes! That would be super awesome!

DOA is a good place to meet so many friends who love Iplehouse dolls like me. All the pictures in this thread is excellent.

@Happy moon moon that's so true, and I am super thankful for this community. It makes me so happy to be able to share my 'weird' hobby with nice like minded people I used to be shamed for liking dolls (my mom especially, who never was into dolls as a kid, bless her, she is a love though) since I was like 12 years old. Grandmother 'collected' dolls to make us doll clothes so she is under suspicion, LOL. But with this magical internet, I've found my people

 

So cute! I really like their pets and planned to get one but with the CREAA teaser (they have grown on me) plus wanting to add a nYID back to my collection...so difficult to decide who/which next.

Thank you! I haven't posted him a lot. Or at all here I don't think.
He does and he doesn't. I ordered him as Bane (full choice with the strong man arms), intending him to be both Bruce and Batman, but the mask wasn't working and all it did was wreck the faceup. So I was lucky to get this Luo head that I permanently modded into Batman, but my "Bruce" head is still Bane...and I'm not super-fond of it. I feel like Bruce should be smilier than Batman, not the other way around. So while I do have a faceuped head for him (and clothes), I may not use it and try to get my hands on a more relaxed sculpt in the future. It's ok for now, I did a lot of work to get him into Batman mode. He can stay like that for a while.
