And Ransom is here! That was very quick! He's more gorgeous than I thought, and now I just need a body! He's going to have to wait in line after my Pei Ying though, since I've had that beauty for almost 2 years and he still floats. Album

I asked Impl about the missing parts from Teno (hooves and special hand) and was told that they would stop selling Teno because of the mold. So, they gave me the option of choosing two free heads or half off a doll, any size for both. Went for the free heads, even though I don't need more floating heads lol.
Chose Ransom in white and Zona in cream white. It was a really hard choice, cause I like several of their sculpts lol

Oooh would you possibly be able to take a profile pic of Ransom? All of Impl's are straight on or 3/4 and he's pretty impossible to find owner pics of.

Ahhhh thank you! In Impl's pics his nose looked kind of flat? I'm glad it's larger than I was expecting. I'm definitely more excited for him now. And I love his ears

 

My heads from November made it!! As usual, no shipping notice, just a box waiting for me when I got home!

impl’s faceups are looking really good right now. I got 2 blanks to play with and one with faceup who I’m obsessed with now.

 

Has anyone bought a head with custom faceup during the Thanksgiving event? And if yes, do you know how long their tend to take? I'm not really expecting it to arrive anytime soon, I'm mostly curious

 

Mine was technically considered custom, cause I requested something like one of their insta posts rather than the default for Zona, and then 2 blank heads, and I ordered Nov 24, and received them on Thursday!

 

Congrats on the surprise arrivals! I wonder if this means my Darlene will turn up soon! I’ve never done a layaway with Impldoll before, so don’t know if they begin working on the doll with the first payment or once it’s paid in full.

I emailed Alice to ask about my Sicily I ordered the beginning of December and they said it would be like another two months, I just got an outfit, MGB body, and the head w/o a face-up so that's fun :')

 

I ordered a ransom,pink skin,no face up,1 pair of boots and a pair of eyes on January 29 through Alice collections.
I do hope that it will take 60 business days,don't wont to wait to June for my doll

 

Grabbed a Kamara head! She’s so pretty—I’m a little bit in love with impl’s recent sculpts—especially her, Eudora and Zona!

the Eudora head i bought at the beginning of December arrived yesterday, the sculp is absolutely stunning even better in person but i do regret getting it in white i didn't think it would be so insanely pale lol it rivals RingDolls paper white resin

 

I grabbed her in brown, because I really liked her promo pics, and I’m considering supia’s ballerina body for her, probably! Though at this point I’m just looking for an excuse to get that body!

 

Haha, I'm a terrible enabler of that body, so you'll only get excuses to buy! But in all honesty, I'm pretty certain she would look perfect on it.

 

Haha yep! Either she, or another incoming head is getting the supia body, because it’s one of the prettiest bodies I’ve seen out there recently, and it poses so well!

also, now that my very dark blue artist head is in, impl might be getting a body order soonish for her…

 

I just got a email from Alice collections.
They say average waiting times for impl is 4-6 months!
So that means if they are slow my doll will likely get here by the end of July

 

Dobby is a free elf (but probably not for very long) at least my order came a month earlier and my Sicily is really pretty.

 

My Darlene showed up with no warning today! She came with a string puller and some wire if I want to wire her. Really excited for the string puller, though, that’s a super useful gift. We’ve been blessed with good weather today, too, so I think I’ll start her face up.

 

I just got an email from Alice Collections they send me my order:Ransom,blank!
I honestly didn't aspect this,3 months in total even though they told me it would take 4-6 months.
I'm so relieved now I just have to wait until it arrives at customs

 

I ordered Alma in January, and the further in the year we get the more excite my brain gets when it does the math of how long it's already been. If it takes a year, I'm going to get a headache from excitement, haha.

 

Did you order direct from them or through a dealer? It took about six months for the Mona I ordered to get to me. Hopefully you get Alma soon!

 

I ordered through Alice's. I know she'll take longer to get to me that way, but she was part of a multi-brand order with some in-stock stuff, so it was more efficient.

 

I checked in with AC about the order status on my Eudora and they said it’s about another 20 days waiting so hopefully I will have her here soon!

 

That excites me, because I ordered the day after you did!

So my Eudora arrived today - along with a doll i ordered from another company which i wasn’t expecting to turn up so soon! She is gorgeous, I am especially pleased with how the company faceup is, they also sent her with a stringing tool which was a nice surprise and the eyes Impl sent with her were lovely too! It’s definitely great to have her home finally

 

I was trying to figure out why I hadn't posted a picture of my arrived Alma yet (she arrived on the 22nd), but realized it's because I keep taking photos and noticing after that her eyes aren't quite straight So I guess I'll just share one with crooked eyes, haha.



I got her in normal pink, which is really pink. I like it because my lighting and camera usually take pink out of skin tones, so it looks really natural. However, her company faceup looks really bad with her skin tone; it looks like it was created with yellow undertones in mind, and the pink is much colder, making it clash. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep her and try a different faceup, since I've started really connecting with MSD-sized dolls in the time since I ordered her.

Plus side, though: her body can't accept as many poses as some dolls I own, but it holds poses brilliantly.

 

As I predicted, Impldoll drew me in hook, line, and sinker with Imara and the new body looks so nice my lord,,,

It's a really good deal and the doll isn't that expensive in the first place and I'm doing layaway so I figured it's better I get her now than in a year, lol. (The excuses we make...)

What resin did you choose for her? Also just for my curiosity, what kind of plans do you have for her? I hope your layaway goes smoothly

 

Joining the party. I happened across a post somewhere about the new star body and the deal and well...I swallowed the hook.

I ordered it in creme white as I plan on making her a redhead with freckles. And I wasn't a fan of Imara so I asked if I could have Sicily instead and Impldoll said yes. Sooo stoked. And the layaway terms are awesome. I placed my order via Facebook messenger and man they are quick. They answered me around noon CST ona Sunday lol.

They told me the doll would be ready in September. Do we believe that? Lol. When I bought my Impl Dorisy a number of years ago, they kept saying soon or giving me time frames and when that time would come they would say just another week etc. Over and over to the point they sent me an extra tiny (in addition to the free one for the event) so gotta hand it to them. I just don't want to get my hopes up.

 

Welcome in! I have a Sicily I got on an MGB body and I can't wait to show her off. The sculpt is beautiful tbh and I hope you love her. I am extremely curious to see how the cream white looks, so if it isn't too much trouble, do you mind showing that off for me? I have bought white both times and it works great for what I want.
I also recently bought from Impldoll and while it did say 3 months on the doll listing, it did take more like 4 ish months with a dealer. My hope is that direct is faster, but we shall see if that's true.

It took four months for me through AC. BUT I also had Dikadoll and Island Doll parts in my order, and it shipped the same time as my Dika order from a week later.

 

I picked real skin. I waffled between that and pink, but real skin is the one used in the pics and I liked that a lot.
As for plans... currently none! Luckily I have a lot of time before she arrives to figure it out, haha. But I want to try out sewing.

Noice, I like the faceup on your Sicily. Those kind of ghostly lips look awesome. I think it was actually the lips that drew me to the sculpt in the first place. Coupled with the short hair that they have on her and boom...now I'm buying another tomboy kinda girl lol.

Yeah I'll for sure post some pictures of the cream white when I get her. I don't have their normal white to compare it to but I have a circa 2014 real skin girl.

Ty! I'm very excited to get her home, I got inspired by the super short hair and bought her an Iplehouse mohair wig that I then had to take in I have the normal white so I'm pretty familiar with how it looks, but ty for the look at the old real skin too

 

In for Imara on the new Star body with a Eudora head, both in Real skintone thru AC. I've been eying Eudora for a while and the deal with Imara pushed me over.

Don't have a body for Eudora yet, but I'm trying to take it way slower this year, so I'll keep browsing in the meantime.

 

Anyone given any thought to what clothes fit the new body? I had my heart set on some stuff from Dollmore since my old ImplStar girl fit in Dollmore's Model F clothes...but this new girl seems thicc-er lol.

 

I'm thinking it'll most likely be an Iplehouse nSID situation and I've had great luck with 1/3rd boy stuff aside from just sitting down and sewing.

 

So I'm waiting on 2 Impldolls - I ordered Aurora War of Future head cuz they said they were going to discontinue it (still appears to be for sale tho ), and then I just had to get Imara.
I ordered Aurora's head in May and her body in June after seeing a buddy's pictures of it - right before the new body dropped. I just checked with Impldoll today - it appears my big ol' girl is all made. So, she should be coming to me fairly soon.
When I ordered Imara, Impldoll told me they planned to ship in September, so that gives me some time to paint some of these nakey dolls. I need to get busy.

 

And I just got my shipping notice for Aurora!
I am becoming a hoarder, I swear. I now have the Star MGB body, and Aurora is on the 68 cm Idol body. I *should* let one go.

But I don't wanna.

A buddy already has the Idol body - they said that the feet are the same size as the SD16, so finding shoes should be straightforward. Now - if I can just remember to take pictures when I open this box.

Oh, yeah, if you don't purchase a face-up, Impldoll is pretty quick.
Not saying anyone shouldn't purchase a face-up - just that it's quicker if you don't. (But then if you pay someone else, you've got another, more expensive wait...)

 

I just joined in the waiting game! Ordered the "46cm Fashion Girl Body" in grey skin from Alice's collection today. She's gonna become a Lillycat Manon hybrid :3 It seems like the current wait time is about 4 months? But I have a feeling grey skin might take longer.....

Aurora is here! I feel a little goofy doing an unboxing, though - I think this body may end up being discontinued? (I do NOT know that for sure - I'm just speculating.) Or if anyone is interested in her, what with the new bodies being released.

Also - I paid for the head first, and then I paid for the body - and only the body - but they sent me a second head? I've already emailed the dealer. I think there was a miscommunication, and I want to make sure I don't owe Impldoll any money. The head alone was $100, so that's an expensive mistake, no?

 

Omg what??? You need to post a ton of pictures! I will for sure be posting this body once it arrives, I haven' seen any pictures or videos about this particular body so I was basically going in blind
