      Mine are in New York for some reason... the only time I've had a doll go through NY was when I had one come First Class from the UK. They normally come through Chicago for me... I hope this goes better than the last time. :shudder

    10. I didn't really start counting my wait time until they actually received the sample I sent, since the first one got lost in the mail. Mostly right now I'm super anxious about how it turned out! Is it going to match? Is it going to look good on him? What if I hate it, how will I sell off a color-matched body? What if it got shipped to the wrong address and that's why it's in New York? Ah, the fun of dolly worries. :XD:
       
    11. Well from what I've heard about Impl, hopefully on the off chance it doesn't match they'll try matching it again, and hopefully they just shipped your package weird. I'm sure everything will turn out fine! :)

Even when items arrive in Australia from o/s they usually sit around in customs for 2-3 weeks. Its very frustrating. Even if my order ships this week I'll still have up to another month to wait.
       
    14. I've just heard back from them, and they did get the address right... so it's apparently a USPS error. Ugh. Hopefully now that it's at a smaller branch, someone will look at it and realize that "Omaha, NE" is not in their delivery range, and get it back on its way, instead of saying "Oh well close enough" and trying to deliver it somewhere.
       
    15. Some relief this morning; the current status is "departed USPS facility," so hopefully that means "via plane because this box is express" and not "via the slowest truck to middle America we can find." :|

      EDIT: Nope, it's "slowest truck to middle America." The package is coming up as "First Class International," which is painfully slow.
       
    16. I just made another payment on my Cedric. That AUD < USD conversion rate is so bad, but it's best I pay it off sooner before the dollar goes down even further as it is expected to by December.
      The BJD group I'm a member of on facebook had a bit of an impldoll scare. Someone ordered an Azalea from DDE and it had a chipped ankle and some green staining on the thighs from the company pamphlet. Apparently there's a new packaging method.
      Thankfully impldoll is getting the girl a new leg piece. It's still pretty scary.
       
    17. That's really scary. I've seen videos with chipped legs too. I really was hoping that they kept the bag at least it'll be functional. I also ordered a Azalea and hope she comes home safe without any chips or stains.
       
    18. I got the bag with my order (though they didn't send it EMS, it was sent ePacket!), which I wasn't expecting since I hadn't ordered a full doll. It's nice, though it's missing one zipper pull, so I'll have to try to fix that up. Still, I think it's going to be nice and handy for me in the future, so I hope they keep using them.
       
    19. I ordered a body for my floating Leeke Noella head March 1st and I'm starting to get impatient! I ordered through Denver Doll Emporium. They let me know up front that because of the Impldoll event it would probably be delayed. Sigh.
       
    20. Yes sailorchiron, joining that sigh. I'm certainly starting to get impatient now too. I just asked for an update yesterday (not very nicely anymore) and this time they promised they'd ship my February 19th Chad/Adela order within a week. That is of course what they told me late April too, so I'm not too confident they'll keep this promise either. I've waited for over 4 months now, so can't help but be a bit annoyed to learn they're busy shipping May orders, when my blank Chad which was paid in full back in February is still not shipped. I've seen plenty of Chads around for months already, so it makes me think they just forgot about my order altogether. Congrats of course to all who have managed to get a doll out of Impldoll this spring!! I hope they're all you wished for! :)

    23. [MENTION=55071]purplemoo[/MENTION], it doesn't look padded, but there's enough room for me to add one of the assorted blankets/pillows/etc I've amassed to it to create the padding. It definitely does look useful, and I'm sure I'll be making use of it, so it's a shame that they're apparently phasing it out.
       
    24. Shout-out to everyone whose orders are taking way longer than anticipated--I hope things get moving for you soon!

      I kept a sharp eye on the latest day my order should've been shipped by, and contacted Impl three days after it passed. They never responded to my question directly, but sent me a shipping confirmation email three days later, which was definitely good enough for me.

      The tracking is driving me nuts though. It's rare that I've had something take so long to make it from its origin to me (though I know it's not unusual for it to take longer), particularly with such sparse tracking updates. It said it was leaving China on the 16th, didn't update for four straight days, said it was in New York on the 20th, no updates for three more days, then it said it was just leaving New York yesterday. It's not like I'm in urgent, life-threatening need of this doll, but it ruffles my feathers a bit when the tracking makes it look like it was just sitting around for days on end .-.
       
    25. When I ordered, Denver Doll told me it would be about three and a half months. I got a notice from them 2 days ago that she'd arrived and they shipped her to me, so I should get her today. I'm sorry everyone else's orders are so delayed! I know they were having an event, but really, if you ordered in FEBRUARY you'd think it would be here by now!

      OMG over a year!? Did they run out of resin? Wtf?

    28. Congrats sailorchiron and R1VET! Mine is still not shipped, even though they swore up and down last week that my parcel would ship at the latest on the 25th of June. I'm opening a dispute, unless I have my tracking by the end of the month. It's just ridiculous that pretty much all orders up until May have shipped, yet not those couple of February ones and that Brigitte's outrageously delayed December one. I don't understand this, I really don't.

      I've had a problem now with all 4 of my latest orders (got a doll in a wrong skintone last autumn, two disgracefully poor quality face-ups during the winter and now this ridiculous delay with a couple of blank dolls). This is not exactly encouraging me to spend more money on their products...

    30. Blankqueen that does not sound good at all. Last time I ordered a couple of years ago they were nice and fast. This is up to now the longest wait I had so far.

      Lehm I hope they keep there promise to you. I know there are companies that have long waiting times. But most of the time Imploll is so nice and fast. That it just feels strange.
       
    31. Yes, I agree Brigitte, a couple of years ago they really were fast and nice. I was very pleased with their customer service in 2013. I got my dolls in a reasonable 2-3 months, they didn't lie to me, and heck, I was just their biggest fan. I felt like I could buy with confidence from them, but now... I don't know what's up with them. Maybe they have more orders now than they can handle or something.

      Well, my week long whining spree seems to have worked, because lo and behold, I finally have a tracking. Now, if only I could get over the aggravation and muster up some enthusiasm for dolls, that would be wonderful... LOL!

      I sure hope they keep their promise and you'll get your shipping notice on Monday, Lelm! You've waited for your Azalea and Moon plenty long enough too.

      @Brigitte and @Blankqueen, so glad you both got your orders shipped! I'm pretty shocked they took so long. I don't normally mind the long wait from companies (well...I do, but I understand it considering how time-consuming making the dolls is, and often how few employees there are), but when it extends beyond the estimated time without any explanation, I think it's reasonable to be antsy or frustrated. I don't think it'd be as bad if the company contacted the customers to say, "Hey there, your order is going to be a bit late, so sorry!" but when the customers always have to contact the company about it first, it feels a little....I dunno, unprofessional. They're probably not meaning to, but it kind of feels like they're ignoring the fact that order's going to be late and hoping the customer won't notice. Then there's the whole "We'll ship next week" response, which, more often than not, is an out-right lie. If you're not absolutely sure you can ship the order next week, say so! "We hope to get your order shipped next week, but it may take a bit longer," is a little more disappointing, but much better than "We'll ship next week" if it doesn't actually get shipped out then.

      Mini-rant aside, so glad your dolls finally shipped!! I also have some happy news--after another three/four days of no tracking updates, my Colin has finally reached a town about five hours away from me~ If the trade I'm currently doing gets shipped on time as well, I'll have two new dolls to welcome on Monday!

I agree with you [MENTION=65067]R1VET[/MENTION], rant warranted. It's a classic case of over promise under deliver. If I was advising them on their marketing strategy, I would be suggesting they lengthen their waiting periods and never give customers the incorrect info. re shipping. Im going with a different company for my next doll.

    46. It says it's out for delivery!! Woohoo!! I'm super nervous though since I'm worried that they may have sent it to my friend's house since I did have them send it to while I was gone. But I did tell them to send it directly to me when I got back.
       
    47. The dolls arrived safely but all the items for my fullset ( the wig and the outfit) are missing. It makes me really upset since those were what made my Azalea's character, plus I paid extra for them. So my box opening for her was pretty bittersweet. I just messaged Impldoll about it, and I hope they send me what I paid for.

    48. so impldoll has finally sent me my extra feet but i still dont have the clothes for my colby :...( they said they will ship it next week... i would rather wait a little longer and get it all at once. this whole this is rather frustrating and i am now officially terrified for when my huge order in feb ships :eusa_pray(only about 1/2 way through the layaway for that one)

    49. My Chad/Adela order arrived. Adela's face is unfortunately dented and scratchy all over the place, and her unicorn horn does not attach where it's supposed to on top of the groove, but right next to it. (Sigh) Chad seems fine, but Impl didn't make him with the old type slot thigh parts like I requested. Oh well, I'll try to make the best of it... some day.

My tracking didn't update since it arrived in Sydney (other side of the country) on Sunday morning. I was all like - "Stop obsessively checking it, its not going to make it get here any faster. You're just going to have to wait for super slow customs and cross your fingers your package arrives next week..." imagine my excitement when the delivery man showed up on Wednesday am!! I've been taking lots and lots of photos and we filmed a box open but it got crashed by my toddler lol! I'll be posting in arrivals etc when I get the chance.

    51. My wait is finally over! After ordering in... January? I no longer even remember, I finally have my replacement parts. They sent me the wrong head with a doll and a broken hand. Today, I got replacement hands and the correct head. They sent another head as well. I'm not sure who it is.

      Maybe now I'll dig out my camera and doll what nots again. I kind of fell off the face of the planet with this hobby. All the delays and mistakes and false promises really stressed me out too much to even work on ooak fashion dolls during the wait. Didn't like fretting over it more than necessary.
       
    52. So typically if you only order one doll is it safe to say that it should ship in a month or so? I finished paying off my girl on the 15th of June so the 15th of July is right around the corner. I hope she ships soon! -impatient- lol

    55. I have to admit, I ordered Ives on impulse because there was such a good sale on ACBJD. He's so much cuter in person than in pictures! The face-up is much more subtle than I thought it would be. So glad I got this little guy!

      Hang in there! These dolls are well worth the wait. :D

    59. Just got confirmation on my free Martin head from the Facebook event. You do have to pay the $25 shipping fee, but that's it. SCORE!! :lol:What a cool promotion. Has anyone else gotten in on it?

      Hopefully they make a good amount on selling bodies to go along with these heads. It's gonna be a while for me; I just dropped my camera in a creek. :doh
