So on Impl's own website they're saying they can ship a full blank 75cm boy within a month (if you place the order through them). I'm torn. I want to upgrade my TGB into the new body. I would love to use the new blank head for something. But I don't trust my luck not to be screwed. The last time I ordered a full doll from them, I went through a dealer and did a layaway and everything worked fine.

 

I would agree with not trusting your luck honestly!! That and those of us who’ve been waiting will probably have our waits extended even if impldoll miraculously manages this 1 month turnaround.

 

At this point I expect my head to be a masterpiece with a face up that is kind of a doll version of mona lisa if a body just takes one month head must be taking even less, so what else they have been doing for the whole year+, if not creating an absolute perfection...

They said the head will be shipped this month, so we will find out soon(or not lol).

 

My full doll was shipped within a month. I order September 6 and she was shipped October 19. God willing I’m hoping to get her next week. So I think right now everybody has a different experience. I order through them

 

Well, it looks like impldoll has responded to the issues with custom colours. They just posted this statement on IG saying that they’re no longer accepting custom colours, dark tan orders, or custom faceups.

It’s probably for the best that it went this way. After my experience getting a custom colour I would not recommend their service to anyone else. I just hope, if they’ve messed up my second custom colour they’re willing to do right by me and redo it, because they’re shipping without showing it to me, which is a red flag.

I do hope this solves some of their issues for them, but I don’t think it’s tremendously likely I’ll be ordering from them again!

 

Yeah, this was something I would suggest those still waiting don't accept.
They refused to show me the hands (one pair wasn't painted) and shipped her with flat feet strung instead of heeled (as was requested and accepted by them) to avoid acknowledging the issues with the heel legs. I can get particularly stubborn, and I know some may battle with that, but refuse to accept the order if they wont show it to you - easier for them to fix the issue whilst the order is still with them than to promise you a freebie/replacement they have no financial obligation to actually deliver.

All in all I hope them no longer taking custom orders/'special skin' orders means those waiting for so long can get their items instead of them prioritizing this alleged 1 month turn around on the newest item (because of course they're still focusing on new orders, even after the post on IG/FB...).

 

I’m seconding that hope that they aren’t still deprioritizing people who’ve already ordered and paid to chase new orders. Realistically though, they have to be prioritizing orders for their 75cm body over existing orders—you don’t go from a 6 month wait to a 1 month wait without a serious amount of crunching. I highly suspect that if they make good on their promises for the 75cm boy it’s at the cost of their existing customers.

 

Yeah I'm definitely waiting until later to order him I just want the body anyways, I don't need the event stuff.

I’m so EXCITED! I got my beautiful baby girl Kamara today and she is PERFECT! She even came with a few extras besides the high heel feet I was not expecting. The color is gorgeous and her face even without any face up is so gorgeous. I did snap some very quick pictures because I couldn’t resist and open her in the car. UnfortunatelyI won’t be able to actually take her out of the box properly until later tonight and as soon as I do I will share some better pictures with you all.

impldoll absolutely impressed me with the quality of their doll and their super fast shipping and production time. Again I’m only speaking of my own experience nobody else

Impldoll Vilma has arrived! I ordered the Impldoll 1/3 or 62 cm body in early April 2024 (during the promo period); she arrived Friday, November 29, 2024. She is in Impldoll's peach gold resin, which I suspect contributed significantly to the delay. The head was a free gift; I also received a gift pair of hands.
Two notes: (1) my phone camera was glitchy. It does not like Impldoll's peach gold resin. (2) 3D-printed resin Smartdoll heads were printed from freely available files from the Smart Doll/Culture Japan website and are for my personal use only (waiting to be painted).

Mari was on the Iplehouse nYID body. Impldoll's peach gold resin is more yellow; Iplehouse is more pink.

Iplehouse YID-G clothing fits perfectly. The broad shoulders would also work well with SartoriaJ 61 APH/64 MTN tops.

Haha I immediately recognized your Sicily. She's pretty cool. Love the facial piercings. I definitely remember seeing her when I was considering the sculpt. Helped me decide to go with the cream white instead of the plain white actually. Nothing wrong with the white...just too pale for my purposes lol.

IOS 65F body is an almost perfect hybrid. Total accident (what happens if I put this head on that body?), and I like it so much, it's a lock.

New sculpt and another look at the muscle body. The head is beautiful. I’m almost convinced to give them another chance, but I’ll see how everyone fares with the male body before I even partly consider it.

Hello everyone! I recently ordered the Star 62 body in Mia Pink on layaway. It’s for my QQ Doll Karla head I ordered last month. I’ve been reading through this thread and I’m a little concerned about wait times and quality issues. I’ve never ordered from Impldoll before, and I placed my order directly via email. That being said the body looks stunning and people seem to really love their dolls! My Karla will most likely be shipped in April, so I’m hoping Impldoll will pull through and at least ship around then. I also hope everyone else’s orders ship in a timely manner this year.

 

My most recent order with them was the new 68 body, placed in early July via their Taobao store. The initial wait time was 2–3 months, but the doll didn't ship until late November. Whenever I asked for eta, they would say that my order will ship "next month".

However, it's worth noting that my order was a big order (one body, two heads + wigs, body blushing and faceup), and that I paid in full at the time of placing the order. During the wait, they were very open to communications, and were helpful with my various requests, including address change, order modification, and combining orders.

When the doll arrived, one of the wigs was missing. They admitted that they made a mistake, and offered to either send a wig out "soon", or to give me a discount for the next order.

Quality wise, I have absolutely no complaints. The faceups (Madeline and Imara) are near identical to the promotional photos. I have yet to find any QC issues anywhere.

 

I ordered my Madeline 68cm in June and received her in mid November. Five months. No faceup or accessories. And I love her, especially her body. I have ordered Ansel 75cm in October and expect him in March.

 

@Zacarias Your Madeline reminds me a little of Little Rebel's Noelle head. She's got a great colour, is that Real Skin or Tan?

No - they are very different. You might want to contact Impl (or your dealer of choice) to request them.

 

I'm following Impldoll on rednote and they released the new muscle girl body at last on their taobao so I can finally finish my Ran Mao from Black Butler I pray their pink decides to be cool toned bc it can really match well. Even if it decides to be a peach I'll be content until I'm ready to get her a color matched faceup.

Yeah I feel the same way about the bigger dolls :/ i hope they'll make an actual slim, actual 65 cm boy too, and not closer to 68/70 and ripped like all of the boys seem to be these days. It's like impossible to find any now, and the sculpting for the girls has been so nice, it'd be lovely to have a smaller, slim boy with that same level of posability too.

 

They just released a video of the new muscle girl body on facebook. And a picture of the Moira head (with faceup) that will be free with the purchase of the new body. I wish they would stop doing this, cause it makes it harder for me to say no. I mean if I wait until after the event it will just cost more money lol. I've tried using this to justify buying Transformers and it didn't work...sooo I know it's not going to work for dolls. The wife's not overly fond of them to begin with lol.

I actually really like the Moira head with the faceup they have on it. But Idk if I'd ever get another company faceup. Anytime I've gotten a doll with a company faceup, I've just liked her less. I realize that these are hand painted so no two are EXACTLY alike, but knowing I have something completely unique makes my doll infinitely better...to me at least. Anyone else feel that way about faceups?

 

Hello! Just dropping by to say I'm a huge fan of IMPL dolls. They are some of the most unique and aesthetically pleasing ones I've seen so far. Most especially love the female body sculpts with toned abs and broader shoulders nom nom

Apologies if this is wrong for me to ask here, but has anyone done any hybrids with these bodies?

 

I bought the last Impl 68 girl Madeline and sooooo many heads fit! I especially like the Fan FF doll heads on it.
I’m doing the Meta boycott for two more days but I can show you if I remember.

The neck hole is too big. The neck hole needs to be around 9cm. Iplehouse is 9.7cm.

@Mahgiep Oh, I haven’t even considered that. I’m new to BJD so I’m trying to learn how to best customize my future dolls.

Hypothetically, I could fill in the gap with putty or some other filler to make it fit, right? Better larger than too small. But of course that may sacrifice head movement hmm… Of course the best thing to do is wait for a face sculpt I absolutely adore and just buy a complete IMPLDOLL

 

Yes I have a supia doll head I'm putting on a model body, and a foveo head is on the model body temporarily. I think there's a thread with an impldoll and iplehouse hybrid too and it looks good /threads/are-you-looking-for-a-hybrid-of-any-of-these-dolls.867039/

 

That kinda breaks my heart! I was hoping the 68cm would work with a Carina head I have~ I still plan on getting one of the 68cm anyway to hybrid with a Migidoll Mu head~ Thank you for this info, it's super helpful!
