I purchased my last BJD in more than a decade, less than a year ago (also as kind of a Christmas gift to myself) from Alice Collections, also a Myou but mine was a mature tiny. Everything went well, as it has been mentioned they are a reputable dealer. My doll arrived without any damage, and I am a cheapskate when it comes to s/h so I got the free Airmail shipping to the USA. I got the wrong pair of eyes, however, but that was solved without issues since it wasn't my fault -- it was just a human mistake, as it could be expected. I'm not in Mexico, but the last doll I received was bought form Alice's and I have a current layaway there as well because the first experience went so well! They're very friendly and communicative and the shipping to me was VERY fast! It look a few days for me to get my doll once he left their warehouse.
If you're buying by layaway, you will need to set up a reminder for your payments, since they don't send monthly invoices for each payment due, but if you're buying outright, this wouldn't be something to worry about.
