Wish I could contribute as well, I've been dreaming of an IDS girl for what seems like forever now - but sadly it never came true for me.

 

Annual reunion I was thinking of this thread the other day. I just gave my Arnoah a new faceup. Must take pictures!

I'm reviving this thread a bit earlier than usual, and I've been back through it and fixed all my broken links, so I'm feeling virtuous. Here's my lovely Marianne checking in for 2021.

 

@mikki This girl just keeps on looking gorgeous, like she never aged a day. Thanks for sharing! I wish I could contribute more than just words, but for me my IDS dreams never came true. Never mind, I love looking at yours!^^

Lovely to see Marianne again! Sad that I can't contribute anymore, as I sold my Osmanthus (Arnoah)...but I love this little community we've built!

Oh, I remember seeing I-Doll Studio girls as a BJD newbie and falling in love with all of them! Reesha and mikki - so good to see photos of your girls, they kinda make me wish I had the means and ability to buy an IDS girl back in the day. Thank you for sharing them and keeping them alive in memory~

Giving this thread a bump, now that I have a couple pics to share of my Arnoah, Paulina Pemberton. She used to belong to @Alewife, who did her face-up.

These gals are a challenge to dress, though a lot easier than a Dollstown 18girl! Jacket and skirt are Volks SD16 girl, tee is EID woman, boots are Volks SDGrB. Jpop wig (I like the soft look it gives her) and orangebabydolly necklace.

 

@beamlette She looks fabulous! Congrats on adopting her too. These girls are so special, I'm forever grateful that I got Marianne when I did. Thanks for listing the sizes of her outfit, that's really helpful, it certainly is a challenge finding stuff for them.

I'm glad I could help a little with clothes sizing. It's still hit and miss, and I need to try more things on my girl. For shoes, I've found some for the Dollmore Model woman can work, like this dress shoe for the Model flat feet: dollmore,bjd,ball jointed doll,doll wig,bjd faceup,bjd collector,人形,球体关节人形,구관,구관인형,doll wig,doll bag,doll hair,resin doll,doll,doll furniture,doll hair,doll boots,doll shoes,doll clothes,doll outfits,saran hair,saran,doll making tool,doll pastel,painting color. Also, the old Dale Rae flats for DM Model size. This gives her a break from the SD boy size tennis shoes, oxfords and loafers

Oh my goodness yes, Marianne and I adore her Dale Rae shoes! I was lucky enough to get these two pairs in her closeout sale in 2010 for the amazing price of $5 a pair!



They are still as good as new, unlike most commercially made shoes.

In the Spoiler pic below are Dollmore Model Size sandals and boots, all of which are deteriorating to some extent.

The red boots are still available from Dollmore - Indus Della Boots (Red) $26.13. Mine are fine on the outside, there's just a slightly sticky patch developing on the inside of one boot. The sandals straps are starting to crumble. The animal print boots began cracking from first use! I'm not sure if they are Dollmore or not, can't remember where I got them. Anyway, I've decided I'm done buying any company shoes and will have to start trying to make some instead

 

@mikki, yes, thank goodness for the old Dale Rae shoes! So far (cross fingers), all mine, including other sizes, are holding up. Sadly, some of my Dollmore shoes are deteriorating too, as well as Dollheart and Volks. Good luck on learning shoemaking!
