I just got my E-Minor and Maji back with their face ups. I love the job Red Iris did on them! They both still need some work, but here is a quick shot of my E-Minor. The eyes I got for her have too big of an iris, so I'm on the hunt again. (These are a Mako 12mm.) I never could find a wig that is quite what I wanted, so I'm butchering a Leeke wig that never quite worked for any of my girls.

 

She is gorgeous! I would love to order this month, but funds won't allow it.
How long do pre-orders stay open?

Hey everyone! Last night I did some quick hot glue mods to my Maji body to see if it’d help with her atrocious torso flop-age and it did! Figured I’d share a link to my IG post about the fix here for anyone wanting to make their Harucasting girls behave better. c:

I pretty much just put big globs of hot glue inside her belly piece (at both ends) to limit the space for the strings to move around. If you’re not as impatient as me, you could easily do this same thing with apoxie/epoxy. She still clicks backwards a little when when I’m handling her, but that’s much better than her bending in half and completely destroying any progress I made on adjusting her hair and/or clothes.

I’m also planning to thread wire through her legs this weekend so her knees won’t drive me crazy anymore.

I just discovered Harucasting’s E-Minor, and I’m in love! Does Haru do open editions, or are they limited? I saw that I just missed his order for her, and I’m so sad! Will he do more castings of E-Minor in the future?

 

My Maji is a little harder to pose than expected but I still absolutely love her! Think I might need to try the hot glue trick.

I'm really in love with these girls. I have an Adori by HC as well, and I am really impressed with his work. Both of my girls are pretty tightly strung and may need a little fiddling. I've got a couple of things left I want to do for my Maji, and then I can grab some pics of her. Honestly, I like Haru's dolls so much, I've considered getting rid of some of the others I have.

 

Has he fixed the body issues? I know some people had issues with the posing.

Do you pay immediately? I mean...if I sent an email for an order, would Haru accept the first payment in two weeks when I get paid? Or should I just wait and email the day I get paid? I'm anxious that he might close the preorder early if he gets lots of orders.

As far as I know, you're right. This was just the best pic I could find of the colours available. They just happen to be mixed in with the others he can cast for other customers

There is a pretty good chance if you ask, you can order in most of the natural colors. Unless he has tightened up his policies, but he used to be pretty nice about it. But, the more colors you look at, the harder it is to decide! (Can't hurt to ask.)

 

I'm sorry for the silly question but how are you all contacting him to order? I don't see any info on the Weebly page and so far I've only been able to talk to him on Insta and there wasn't really any attempt to take my order even when I asked about layaway.

I emailed some questions, hope it doesn't get lost in the many pre-order emails! Just wanted some confirmation on things before I order.

 

I'm waiting for the shipping and invoice (?), this will be my first Haru doll, so I don't know. I think you could ask him if it's ok you pay when you get paid. I would wait for the payday, but everybody does how they feel is ok for them. Sorry I don't know for sure as I'm paying everything at once when I get the information for the payment. ^^;

 

I’ve been looking for samples of the skin tones too. The ones I’ve found don’t seem to match the names that are listed in the E-Minor price list.

Same! I've just been making approximations based on the pics I could find of the resin colours.

 

There are also some pictures on his Instagram of the different resin colours. They’re the pictures of dolls legs with colourful shoes on. I thought the pictures were showing the shoes, but when I looked more closely, he has also listed the resin colour of each leg.

 

I sent Haru an email to pre-order E-Minor on Friday does anyone know if he responds to the emails when the pre order closes or just in a few days once he gets through them all? I’m a bit anxious my email got lost or something XD

 

I was wondering the same thing, Daemon Fae. I figured out a resin color and sent in my order email, but haven’t heard back. I’ve also been checking to see if he has sent an invoice to my PayPal account yet, but nothing there either.
Does anyone know how long he takes to respond? I don’t want to miss out!

 

@DaemonFae & @coinnle - It took three days for Haru to email me back when I ordered Maji last September. He’ll get back to you soon

Also, I found that a lot of Maji and E-Minor owners on Instagram will list their doll’s resin in a hashtag. So if you search for say, #majimildtan, you’ll see several images of dolls in that particular resin color. It’s a little more work, but since Haru doesn’t have a comprehensive image of every color he offers, it’s at least one way to get an idea of what you want.

@DaemonFae and @coinnle I haven't gotten my response back yet either! However, I know Haru is really worried about recasters since he found out some time ago that a Russian recaster was trying to purchase one of his dolls. I think it will probably take a bit of extra time for him to sort through the emails and validate the information everyone gave.

Congrats on your orders! Who did you guys get? I picked up a Maji in mild tan! I love all the color choices available, but I think that one is so pretty. I've slowly fallen in love with Maji over the past few years. Haru puts so much love into his sculpts!

I Ordered E-Minor in the Normal Peach. I had a hard time deciding what skin color I wanted, but decided to go with the light color skin. She has been my holy grail doll

I ordered Maji in either dark tan or nanni choco, but I'm waiting for him to answer a question about a faceup I saw.

Gonna try and choose something slightly different. I would love to get Maji and Joa in the future. And Nanni. And Geuru. And Som...

Gosh, I'm so impatient... I've been trying to 'entertain' myself my picking faceup artists for my other two girls, but I'm dying inside waiting for order confirmation from Haru!

I think it would be okay! I would just let Haru know once you do the order that you don't have any social media. I'm sure he'll be able to see your activity from your Den of Angels account, though.

I think the tan colors are so pretty. I debated a lot about going for a tan skin, but decided that for how I want my E-Minor to look, the Normal
Peach was the better choice. Maybe I’ll get another one later in the Dark Tan or a chocolate.

Haru has hinted if not outright said that Joa and Neul are a couple... I really hope he lets people order them separately and not just as a package deal cause I can’t afford that much doll at once I so want them both though

I got a reply to my email last night now just waiting for confirmation he got my first layaway payment

 

I got my payment request from Haru! I just sent my payment, and I’m so excited!
Now the waiting begins…

 

I think he does 2-3 preorders per year! He said earlier this year that he might open a preorder for Joa in July, but I think it might be later than that since he told me he is hoping to get this preorder home around late July. I don't think he will start another until everything from this preorder is finished.

I think we can expect at least one more preorder this year, if not two.
