Granado Dolls Waiting Room v4!

Got my boy today on the evolve 32 body and…wow! He is so poseable and detailed! I wasn’t expecting ballet feet either mine and was pleasantly surprised with heel and ballet feet as well as flat feet. Maybe I ordered them and forgot but they are great! Now to figure out clothes lol! And a wig!

edit: The only thing that surprised me was just how small his head is. It looks to be around the same size as my itty bitty Doll Leaves Laura’s!

 

SF Express tracking wasn't of much help (it stalled the same day Granado sent me the details), but I received my jointed hands order after a little over a week in transit. I posted a minor update about it on IG, but I'm so happy my guy finally has functional fingers.

 

My small scale jointed hands are on the way. I got my tracking number last night, but seems to show they were shipped weeks ago and might be in NY already so should get them soon right?
Hopefully they will fit my small wristed MSD boy, every other pair of small scale jointed hands has been too big.

 

Congrats, fingers crossed they fit! I wonder if this means my Bonnie might be shipping soon... I'm trying to be patient but the clothes I bought for her got here, and I want to know if they fit!

 

Got them Friday, but at time was too busy to post. Sadly they are too small for Izzy, which sucks cuz the color matches perfectly too.
Izzy has had the worst luck finding jointed hands. Oh well going to keep them anyway see if anything I can find a use for them. (might go mod a G.I.Joe sized action figure XD)

 

I got a address request from Granado so they can send my V-12 to me, not quite a shipping notice but it will do.
I added his faceup when they showed it. I'm hoping he fits okay with the rest of the guys.

Also me - this body I purchased is perfect for this other head. Now I need a body for my Iplehouse Aaliyah head.
Saw someone do an Iplehouse x Granado hybrid here, and I loved how it looked. So now, I'm here in the waiting room with y'all.

 

Congrats! When did you order him, if you don't mind my asking? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my Bonnie might ship... soon... It seems like Granado is getting to orders from that period. (I can dream, right?)

Soon was in fact soon! She might even have shipped as I made puppy eyes at it, because I got no shipping notice at all! Just a mystery package that turned out to be my Bonnie! I'll post a box opening soon (I got so excited I forgot to eat lunch) but ahhh she's beautiful.

 

That is great! And she is beautiful too. I was asked for my street address for the shipping company on the 20th, but haven't received a shipping notice. I'm hoping that it will show up at my door tomorrow.

 

Hopefully yours shows up as mysteriously as mine, then! I got no notice other than the automated text from the package locker with the access code, haha. I was so confused as to what it could be, then literally squealed with joy in the mail room when I opened it... :B (Good thing I was alone.) Thinking good package thoughts for you!

 

This seals it for me. I am returning that stupid BarbieStyle doll I bought. This is one million times better as a blank, unpainted doll.

 

I just got a shipping notice for my Lucent. I’m so excited to get my first doll.

 

I got my shipping notice for my V12 head. He is already in NY.

 

My V12 arrived. My wonderful maillady waited for me, I was at the post office while she was at my door needing a signature. The guy at the post office called her and she waited for me.
I'm so glad I added the faceup later when they announced it was available. I named him Yarrow Bay.

Your V12 is absolutely handsome! I love Granado face ups and this one is really beautiful. The mail lady was so kind to wait for you, definitely a thing that makes the day better.

I got my Granado Evol body in Syringa on the 19th of August, now my Dark Lord Enoch is complete. Shipping through FedEx is better to reach my place and is really reliable. Also, the wait times got shorter. After my last layaway installment the body was shipped within a month.

Nice! I would just raise his eyes a hair, so that the iris is covered more on top lid than on the bottom. To have them align, look at one eye looking directly at you with other eye covered, then uncover and have the second eye look directly at you with the first covered. Then check them together. You can stand in front or to the side to do this.

Granado has already started working on my female Embody (too late to switch to the Nuevo). I got it in tan, and I plan to put my Iplehouse Aaliyah head on it.

After searching (somewhat fruitlessly) for pictures of the female Embody on DOA, I'm going to be posting lots of pictures, I guess...

Well, I grabbed a Jane head! They're also offering tiny Jane, too, but I couldn't afford both. (I already have a Depths Dolls Latimeria, so I'm not too crushed.)

It's going to add another couple months to my order - but Jane is worth it!

 

Granado Neptune is paid off!! Hope to see him in 2-3 weeks! Let the countdown begin!

 

My 70Adagio body arrived last Friday and Awim arrived a week after. 3 month turnaround time is quick considering I'm still waiting on a Doll Chateau order from August.

Unfortunately I'm finding the Doppel Maiden head a little small for the Adagio body. I may have to wait til the next sale to grab a new head from Granado.

The Titan body is awesome and now I also need to save up to order some custom clothes! And I need to figure out his shoe situation as well. Right now he's lounging in a pink satin pajama set meant for a BuildaBear.

I just ordered granado lucent's head and some eyes for him! Hes gonna be small kars so i am very excited to get him!

 

Neptune arrived in good condition, box too. I didn't take photos, but I will eventually create a share to post. He's so heavy! -By far my heaviest doll. I had a jacket and shirt waiting for him, but he grabbed the antique cotton infant shirt! Tan is a difficult choice I'm discovering. I have only 3 tan, darker dolls and each tan is entirely different.

Hello everyone! I finally placed my order for Noah on Adagio 75 in bronze through LD!! I haven't seen much reference for their bronze option but they all look amazing so far

 

I have ordered 70Adagio NS, body only as I have a head I want to fit on it. And jointed hands too. Busy making some clothes for him.

I was very worried how it will go but luckily this delivery was as uneventful as possible: I originally paid by Paypal and it has the bad habit to set the delivery address the same or at least in the same country as the billing address. Have had problems with gifts already before. Now when I'm moving countries it doesn't help at all. Wrote to Granado reminding the to use the delivery address in my profile. They said ok. Silence. Yesterday a courier quietly put the box in my mailbox. The email that my parcel is sent out arrived today.

I did make unboxing video. Have to understand how to post it here. Photos will be later, when I put his head on and dress him.

 

Well I'm back here again. I ordered their new guy Dustin on the 50Evolve with jointed hands and syringa skin. I needed a doll in their syringa skin color that gray is just so lovely photos. The marks the 4th doll I have ordered from them over the years, and the 3rd one ordered for myself.

I just ordered the new crowdfunded bod in the 70cm size in Bronze, so I'm in here again finally too! Excited to have another Granado body. He makes such lovely men.
(The 50cm size is tempting me too, but I'm gonna wait till I actually have money in my account before I decide.)

 

I've ordered my first Granado body – the new crowdfunded Fortis 70cm in WS.
I'm hoping to use it for my floating LLT Roderich head.
I'm really excited to have a Granado on order. I love their sculpts but unfortunately Volks melonheads rule my house so Granado's realistic heads wouldn't fit in

 

Hello! I ordered the Fortis body with Orion head, 50cm in Amber. I liked the body so much that I put in an order before I even saw a decent video of the head prototype! I'm a little worried I will think the head is too small in person. Fingers crossed I'll get used to it quickly.

 

I ordered a 65 Fortis with open eyed Orion head. So here for two things now. *makes self cozy*

 

I know I just ordered him in October, but I want to see my Orion!!! I need to use the time waiting for him to figure out his character, but I bet it'll change when I actually get him in hand! Any idea on his eye size? I'm guessing 8mm...

I didn't order Orion, but I ordered the Fortis body in 70cm size and haven't received it yet

 

@dbfalcao @castironteapot I also ordered the Fortis body in 50cm. Maybe I'll send them an email, just in case.

 

I've only seen the 32 and 49cm Fortis bodies on Granado's social media. I know they had to remodel the body because the vinyl they planned on using between the joints turned out not to work as well as they'd hoped.
Has anyone received a Fortis body in any size?

I forgot to update the list when my Dustin showed up out of the blue with no tracking a while ago.
Grando never sent me tracking or even updated his listing in my orders as "shipped", which makes me worry about my Fortis 65 boy.
Hopefully we will get updates and dolls sooner then later.

 

Mine which I order with legend doll in December arrived at the beginning of March ☺️
