I will take the risk, too - because she's the only mold that fits my character As for the broken hand, I hope the better for you!

Hello everybody! It's my first post on this forum - I don't own a doll yet (thanks to Dolkot!), but I feel myself obliged to leave a post here just for people to know how long possibly they'll have to wait. I ordered a doll on 12th of June. Dolkot promised to send it in three days or in a week. Well, they didn't. When I started asking questions they were telling me "on Saturday", "next Wednesday", "in a week". It didn't bother me then because I'm a patient person and thought they need some time to get everything ready. So, then I left for holidays asking them to delay shipping for the 5-6th of July because I woudn't be at home earlier. When I returned on 10th of JulyI found they hadn't sent it. I asked them and they told me "next week", I asked them again and they told me "next week" again. I wrote: Dear Blue Moon, you continue not answering my questions about the order. I don't need apologies. I want to know WHY my order is delayed every time I ask about it. I feel obliged to remind you what YOU have written on 23 of JUNE: "Hi! We will send your order TOMORROW. Are you going to have vacation? If you aorry about it, we cans end your order on 5th of July! Tell me when you will come back from your vacation!" So, according to your words, it was ready a month ago. Then, I want to ask, why is it not sent?! I'm tired and upset - not because I have to wait but because every time you don't keep your word, because I feel disappointment. If you have any problems with the doll you could tell me, by e-mail if you don't want to discuss it on message board! I'm understanding and patient person but I'm annoyed because you don't bother to give any explanations! It's a question of respect to your customers. We make a contract - I pay money, you send me my order. You never told I'll have to wait for so long. Please, don't take it personally because I understand pretty well that it's not your fault but the Dolkot company's in general. But if you're not sure you want Dolkot's doll may be it's better not to order it. I don't know.
I have good news, my Lucifer "Charm of the devil" was shipped today. So I hope in a week or two I'll be able to tell here about doll's quality.
I posted a message in the boad, too. BlueMoon told me that he would cast a brand new doll for me and for my friend, and he explained that sometimes it takes more at casting because they make new dolls for every customer. We'll see. The problem was not about waiting - it was about absence of any explanations that shows attitude to the customers. Lucifer is already in Moscow but it'll take some time to get through the customs. So, in a few days I'll see the doll. *I cross them so much that they may break*)
I have never seen such atrocious company reviews before. I am definitely not touching Dolkot with a 39 1/2-foot pole. What surprises me the most, though, is the doll enthusiasts who are still asking for more reviews on the company, in the hopes that someone will come along and be a 'knight in shining resin', so to speak, and abolish these terrible reviews of this company and their low-quality, expensive dolls by telling a success story. With all of these poor reviews, and pictures to back them up... there is simply no way I would ever spend $500 or so on a doll that arrives cracked and yellow, no matter how elegant the sculpt. I hope that didn't come out terribly unpleasant, I just feel sorry and defensive for those who ordered from Dolkot and met no success.
Malignant Librarian, I know people who own Dolkot dolls of rather good quality. It's a matter of fortune. Their dolls are really beautiful.

I think people who decide not to purchase from Dolkot have their good reasons, because ordering from a foreign country and waiting for the incoming doll is always something that makes everyone of us very anxious. So we expect the best in quality and satisfaction. Well, I would be lying if I tell you that I was not worried at all to choose Dolkot, unfortunately I can't find the right mold to replace Bera, so I will be ordering very soon... I think that not buying is a cautious move, but it makes the situation worse, because quality and service do not improve if Dolkot hasn't any customer. That's why I haven't changed my mind, even if sometimes I was tempted to. I'm ready to face the risk of an unsuccessful transaction, but if the situation turns bad, I think I will do what everyone has already did, send everything back and waiting for a new product. This is just my personal opinion
I agree Nanael I'm pretty sure I'm ordering a Hara as I've not found another mold I really like for the character ;_; I think I'll just pray to every diety I can and hope he comes in perfect condition. I want to have faith in them but with such crappy reviews it's decidedly difficult!

They read all my e-mails and responeded accordingly. * How easy was it to pay / - It was easy and done through Paypal, but it took me a while to figure out. I had my pop-up blocked and I couldn't see their pop-up explaining what their Paypal was. It was a bit confusing and I did forget to add my order number when I wired them the money. I e-mailed them about it after, and they accepted the payment and everything was fine. * How long did it take to ship? - I wasn't motioring my dolls shipping closely, and I'm not sure. But he did ship rather quickly, as far as I'm concerned. He got here August 21, 2008. * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion ? - Yes, it was. He looks very high quality, and I can't see any huge defects in him. There were two seam lines that showed and a few small scuffs on one of his legs, but these things are barely visable, and don't bother me in any way. The only small problem I see is that his arm joints aren't exactly the same, but once again, this doesn't bother me at all. * Did the item look like the sales pictures ? - Yes, he looks just like the Day in photos and his make-up was done just like the picture except for a few small differences due to sculpt and the fact that it's hand painted. * Were you satisfied with the product ? - I'm pleased to say that I am satisfied with my doll. Let's see--he was shipped with a carrier. Of course it would have been nice if they had put him inside the carrier instead of on top of it to ship him. Fortunately he didn't have any damage when he arrived. They sent regular ears when the model I bought came with elf ears, but forgot to give me any eyes for him! I think I overpaid. * Did the item look like the sales pictures ? The fae up is pretty, but he didn't come with the elf ears and eyes they said he would. * Were you satisfied with the product ? Well I'm a Dolkot doll lover (I have 3 of them ^^) because I think these molds are among the most beautiful (excuse my poor english I'm from France ^^;;;; ) But I must say it's difficult to buy from them... I had the chance to buy a Tan Kiss and a White skin Junior Day by second hand, but I had to buy my Loon directly from Dolkot. I don't have complains about his white skin, it's perfect. But I ordered him with a make up and I must say they didn't listen what I asked. They even never answered to my several questions about the discount event, 30% off on the make up during may (and I do ordered in may) so I paid the total cost because I wanted their make up, and finally it wasn't what I asked, and the eyelashes were damaged (this last point isn't "so" important but... well...) And they didn't inform me when my Loon was shipped, so his arrival was a (good) surprise, but what if there was a problem ? I couldn't track it to know T__T I really love their dolls and all this made me anxious about buying again from them, my problem is that I absolutely want a Lucifer... ;__;
Hello, I have been waiting my order since the 17 of july. Last week, dolkot said to me that the doll will be shipped this week, but nothing. Now, they don't reply to my mails. I really worry about my order. I wonder if i will receive the doll one day.

Yes, i have posted on their board again. They have finally reply to me last friday evening, to say me that the doll will be shipped next monday, so today. When, i look my order, it is still in status "confirm receipt". They haven't keep their promise for the second time. It's very stressing and i wonder if i will receive the doll one day. I have never had such problem with other compagnies.
Don't forget about the time difference ^^ But if your status isn't changed by tomorrow then ask them again if the doll's been shipped. Keep on them, don't let em ignore you or else you'll go through more trouble than you should have D:
You should always "be present" in any way if you've ordered from Dolkot. They're not very good at giving you any news about your order. You have to ask for them. BlueMoon answers every day to questions and complaints, the Q&A board is the better way to have a fast Customer Service The Order Status in your personal account's page isn't very reliable. They're really slow at updating it. They may also have shipped without any notice. It could happen at Dolkot XD
Now, the doll is on status "Shipping" with a tracking number since 2 days, but when i enter the tracking number the parcel is unknow.
Maybe your package wasn't registered yet Me and my friend had tracking problems lately with dfferent postal services. Just wait more, maybe you'll see his moves appearing very soon
Well things seemed to have improved, at least somewhat. I think my second doll will be from them. I wont let the negative feedback detour me, I guess im just like that. ^^' Hopefully one day ill have another positive feedback to add.
Ahhh. I'm so disappointed. I've found my dream doll [WS Adam] And now I'm considering giving up as I've read all the bad reviews & feedback. . Are they really that bad? I want him so badly, But I'm really really put off. I don't want a yellow doll with scratches... It's going to be my first doll and I don't want to have a bad experience. I've also read the good reviews, but I'm still not feeling up for dealing with DK. I just really need something that can give me some positive vibes. So I think I'll just hold out for a couple of months and wait for some more positive feedback!
I'm in the same boat. I love Model Adam, but i'm not sure i would want to spend that much money and have to deal with problems like some people had. I also wanted to see more images of him and the body/joints but since no one bought him there is no way of knowing.

Very good, I had a problem with payment and immediately posted on the message board and I was answered very promptly. How easy was it to pay? I tried to use credit card and it didn't work, but that was my fault and not theirs. I sent the money by PayPal after leaving a note on the board, and my payment was confirmed within a couple days. How long did it take to ship? Just about two-and-a-half weeks--ordered on the 7th, shipped on the 24th, arrived the 26th. Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes. There has been a lot of question about their resin colours this year, and now that I have a white skin doll in hand I can say that it's a rather nice colour. I believe Dolkot is casting their dolls in the same resin a lot of Chinese companies use now, as my Abel's resin is pretty much a perfect match colour-wise to the white skin FDoll body I have--so, a nice creamy white that goes well with his two brothers, who are both older Delfs. Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes...a little better, actually. XD The new boy body is much nicer than in the pictures--it has gorgeous hips and a very nice stomach, which I never even noticed in the few pics they have up of it. Were you satisfied with the product? Yes I am. There was a bit of excess resin here and there I had to trim off (most notably between his looong monkey toes XD ) but as I bought him blank I didn't mind a little finishing work...and as a note, I actually had to do that with my first Dollshe boy as well! XD Also, whoever did the final work on the head at the factory was a bit too happy with the sandpaper--there were noticeable scratches in various places on the face--but once I did his faceup they disappeared. There are a few little quirks and things that will take getting used to, as with any new doll body you work with, and I will say that as a blank sculpt he was rather dull--but he came alive quite nicely once I got his faceup done, and I'm going to have loads of fun making him dress in clothes that show off his hips now.... XD

I got very angry when I discovered that people who placed the order after me have their dolls at home. I was so disappointed! Average communication. I kept posting messages on their board while I was waiting for my dolls, and BlueMoon was always keen to answer to all my question. I had problems when I made a complaint about the very long wait (four months), had to do so because of the possible troubles with the delivery. He didn't reply for a week, then he sent my package and he apologized for the lacking of communication. * How easy was it to pay? Very easy by Paypal, my payment has been confirmed after three days. * How long did it take to ship? It was a really long wait. I suspect mine passed as a second order because of the complexity of my requests, but seems like Dolkot staff has very strange time lines. I got the dolls after four months, too much compared to the schedule of other companies. * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes, it was, even if resin tones remain still a mystery to me. The pajama set has a nice feel, although I think that the fabric used is polycotton. * Did the item look like the sales pictures? I don't know how to answer to this question. Me and my friend ordered our dolls in different skin tones, and DK normal skin and White skin almost look like similar! Her Abel was too far light to be nomal skin, while my Bera was of a creamy colour. Maybe she got a ws instead of a ns, but he's nice, anyway. Don't expect the skin to be picture wise, you can't tell when you will receive the doll... * Were you satisfied with the product? All was brand new, custom face ups are wonderful, the night outfit lovely. They did a mistake, I asked for elven ears for Leaf togheter with basic ones for Bera, they sent me two sets for Leaf. Now I have to mod both the pairs, my girl is earless at the moment, but the wig covers the sides of her face. * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I just sent a complaint about the wait, but I received an answer after a week, after sending my package. I think that if you're going to order form Dolkot you should consider better, because of their killing time lines. Maybe you'll be lucky. Don't complain after a month, because the average time to make your doll is about two months and one week. Yes, they're really slow, but it grants you some quality in the dolls. In fact, nothing was missing and I got everything in perfect conditions. Hope this helps.
I WAS thinking of possibly ordering from from DK, but now, definately not! There is no way I want to deal with that, like it was said, they arent cheap, but even so, I would be willing to pay twice the price (money I dont have) to get a GOOD doll and be sure of it. One thing I would suggest to people who have fallen in love with a DK doll is look for the same doll second hand, so you can be sure of the result. Maybe also try buying just the head if possible and use another body, that way at least you have less to deal with and if it is screwed up, its not as pricey of a mistake.
WOW. Has anyone had an more recent experiences? I WANTED to order a Bera but I am WAY too scared now. I was thinking about just getting the head if I could but it looks like even those have been produced with poor quality...Such a shame because they are such beautiful sculpts. Okay, so here's the deal: My friend and I have been looking at Dolkot for a while, and we think that their dolls (and outfits and wigs; holy crap SO PRETTY) are really gorgeous. But see, I had warned my friend about Dolkot, but we both like the dolls so much that we decided to ask a friend about the company. She said that a lot of the major problems happened a while back and that they had been fixed. And just from looking at this thread, it seems that the reviews have been better as of late (not to say that people aren't still scared to order from Dolkot). See, I would totally order from Dolkot if I had the money to do that, but, hey, I don't. So my friend and I were wondering if someone could possibly confirm that the problems (I've read this whole thread, and quite frankly, it's terrifying) had been solved or any other bit of good news.
Ok so pretty much this is what happened (this was almost like a year ago though, I moved on) I REALLY wanted this limited loon, with the red kimono and long black nails and such. and not to get off topic but there limitation dolls are WAAAAAAAAAAY over priced, I mean damn 1,400 bucks?! I didnt relize that cause I was a noob back than So pretty much I ordered him. They had got the conformation and everything, and sent me a letter giving me the tracking code. I waited 6 days and than went to see where the loon doll was. The tracking thingy said there was no such code. I said whatever. I tried again 9 days later, still not in existence. I thought they would just send it so I waited it turns out I have waited for THREE whole monthes!!! THREE!!!!!! I was really pissed now. Its not like they even needed to cast or sculpt him or anything!!!!!!!!!! He was already made!!!!! So i went on the dolkot sight. And asked "Ok was I scammed or something?" they reply back "Oh, the credit card information was lost, please send it again" Ok ONE~~THEY SHOULD OF TOLD ME THAT 3 MONTHES AGO! Second~~I check my credit card company, and YEA it was confermed and everything, INFACT I even got the bill for it. Now I was furious and said that I am not going to pay this money. I was going to take legal action, because they said I owed them money. ME! and i didnt even get the doll yet. This made no sense to me AT ALL. So *many days later with cussing and not paying* It was finally resolved that I wouldnt have to pay.~~thankfully no legal action HOWEVER, they still put the "SOLD OUT" sign on it, in hopes I would pay them. I will NEVER pay that obviously. They took the sign off I think, or should have by now. I will NEVER order from dolkot ever again. EVER! Lol, I bet they think I still owe them money for some odd reason ^^.
