    2. It worked that time! What a cutie!

    3. Sometimes it is the picture size, try reducing and reuploading and see what happens (half of mine I forget to reduce size and those end up not showing)

    4. Yup, that's what the problem was!

    5. Thank you! I'm currently working on a sweater to go with this toque, the pompom is made from the muzzle of a chinchilla pelt. I made a sweater for Murder Blythe (my kenner blythe) with the yarn in the spring and it turned out so well I needed to make more with it. (silk, cashmere, rayon. Hand dyed and spun by me)

    6. She's awake now! I love the toque! The color and weight of the yarn are great.

    7. Congratulations! I love the way the normal skin Ante is posed!

    8. @RowsbyWeft - beautiful yarn work! I'm always so awed by people who spin their own yarn. It's a skill I would love to learn, but it just isn't possible, so I will admire those who can and do. :)

@DescendingSky - congrats on your Pukipukis! It's only been this year that I've been able to get my hands on Pukifees, Pukipukis and Realpukis, even though I have been in the hobby a looong time. It's so amazing to finally have these dolls in my hands! :D

    9. Thanks! I dove down the spinning rabbit hole so hard ages ago, I have it down to a "reasonable" five wheels now, I've had a baker's dozen a few times over the years. I love restoration, and bringing a neglected wheel back to a purposeful existence. Let's not discuss the looms, I could outfit a small textile school

    10. Sounds like me. I ended up with a collection of at least twenty spindles and whorls. Maybe we need a Fiber Addict thread in Brigadoon!

Been fiddling with various Rement things for my Pukis. FInished their little portable house box.
It's now got a table, chairs, and wall art from Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz.

    11. @Rosslyn such a cute little travel house!

    12. thank you! It's been around since 2009 and Pip deserved a home reno.

    13. All these new Pukis are such a delight! Congrats everyone.

As much as I love Pukis I doubt my little monster Patti would let me have another. She pretty much rules the roost! Can't believe she's my oldest doll. Yellowed but still as feisty as ever though.

      [IMG]Patti (2024) by Ali MacTavish-Riach, on Flickr

The top she's wearing is a Monster High one from the older versions. Some of their clothes fit although they're a touch big.

    14. I love her little freckles!

    15. She's definitely a confident girl!

    16. Happy Holidays from the gang... Well, part of the gang, anyway (I don't have enough Xmas outfits yet).

Finally my holiday shopping came in, heres my bald and faceless little Pongpong!

      • x 9
    18. @LonelySapphireWolf I love your pong-pong!!! Oh I always feel so happy when I see this sculpt's smiling little face. :D
Can I ask where you got their cute outfit and shoes from if you know? I'm always on the hunt...

      Puki tax!

    19. I adore the smile!
MikalaShopCrafts on Etsy, its OB11 sized and a few things fit abit weird (a dress and and pair of sandals) but the rest looked good. My shipping number didnt work and it seemed like a common problem with the seller but my parcel arrived within the expected time frame and the clothes are very nice quality!

      • x 1
    20. Hi all, I've had my two Pukis for nearly 10 years now, bought them second hand so they could be some of the first ones made.
I looked online recently for new PukiPuki and they seem to be being sold very cheap.
      Are these legit?
Sorry but I'm not sure how to add a photo yet.

    21. If they are very cheap and sold by Chinese sellers, they are most likely recasts.

      • x 1
    22. They are almost assuredly recasts, unless you're looking at the in-stock ones at Denver Doll Emporium. They're otherwise not currently open for orders. They are $180 USD blank from Fairyland (or an authorized dealer, of which the only one I can think of is DDE), and any other price is definitely not legitimate.

FYI: As far as adding photos goes! The FAQs (/faq/how-to-post.6/category) have information on how to do that, but generally speaking you have to host your photos somewhere else (Flickr, Imgur, other services I can't think of) and then use that link to insert the image. You can't upload your images directly to DoA except in a few places, like your doll profiles.

Speaking of photos, just because I haven't shared any in a while: here's one from our Halloween meetup of my two PukiPuki Ante twins (and their parents)! I have since made Mina (the dark-haired girl on the left) a new wig that I'm much happier with, but haven't been taking pictures of my dolls lately...

    23. @Idoru what a cute little family!!

      • x 1
    24. Hopping in with this lil dude! I saw him on DDE and had to get him! And of course after he got here I remembered how much he'd need a friend and now a blue/grey Ante is on her way :3nodding:

    25. He's adorable!

      • x 1
    26. Love him and how you have him styled

      • x 2
    27. DDE sent me the wrong colour Ante. So I got a gray one instead of blue but she's still so cute! I want an army of Pukipuki now though.

      • x 4
    28. Grey Ante is cute, too. (I have to say that, or my elf grey Ante will be upset! :D)
It's too bad you didn't get the one you wanted, though. Maybe they have more? Or a different sculpt?
You definitely need more Pukipukis. They come in flocks.

      • x 1
    29. No more blue ones. I think I saw a grey Rory and a blue Cupid, which I would love, but I think I need to slow my roll. I have a MNF on layaway I need to keep reminding myself

    30. Here's my little Ante, MaoMao! She just got her proper eyes in the mail.
I think Pukipuki Ante is my favorite Ante.

    31. This has probably been asked before but I can’t find answer… do ob11 clothes fit Pukipuki?

      • x 1
    32. The picture I posted of my Ante is her wearing OB11 clothing. It fits a bit baggy but I think it's cute. I can post more pictures of different OB11 outfits on Pukipuki tomorrow if you'd like.

      • x 1
    33. That would be great! Thank you!

      • x 1
    34. @raggedraven here you go!
All the OB11 clothing is a bit big minus the stockings. Long sleeves are extra long a bit bulky. I think overall it looks cute. The shoes are a bit large and the hats don't fit at all even with a wig.

This is a Puki labeled shoe(brown loafer) next to an OB11 sneaker. As you can see the OB11 show is quite a bit bigger. [IMG]

    35. Thanks! They look super cute! Is the black wig a leekeworld Teagan wig? I’ve been trying to decide what wigs might work. Thanks again!

    36. It's actually a JinSun wig from DDE called "Twin Tails" pretty much the same as Teagan just less expensive and maybe a slight quality difference.

    37. It's spring!

    39. I realise I never posted on this thread while my PukiPuki is my main bjd so here are a few pictures I took outside of her (for the first time ahah). This is Romy, my PukiPuki Pipi. She arrived at home back in November 2024.

Funny thing is I almost thought about selling her recently since I wanted to stop collecting dolls. She was even listed for sale until a week ago. But one day, I took her out of her box (she was for sale for about a month) and I pretty much never wanted to put her back in :sweat, I was still attached to her and eventually didn't see me selling this cutie, as I loved this doll as soon as I got her and she means a lot to me, she also has a big history (I might be her 4th or 5th owner ? I tried to contact people who had her before bu they forgot where they got her from :().

Anyway, here are my pictures <3

I was happy to buy her with her sleeping face (I love sleeping faces with dolls ^^)

    40. The tiny flower just make it all more adorable!

    41. Your Romy is so sweet, she's a daisy among daisies!

    42. (Groan). She is gorgeous. It makes me want more Pukies (but can’t afford any at the moment)

      • x 1
    43. She is soooo cute! (Side note: where did you get those SHOES? I have such a mighty need.) They're really easy to keep around in my opinion... they're so little they basically don't count. (Right? ...Right???)

      • x 2
    44. @flornosertao @ElectricMauve @EmanonUK thank you so much for your messages, I'm so happy to share it with you and take pictures of my puki again :3nodding:

@Idoru thank you ^^ for the shoes, to be fair I don't know for sure :sweat To me, it's more likely shoes from a tiny simba doll, the shape is slightly different than a classic barbie shelly shoe.
personally, I love searching for some clothes/shoes bundles secondhand and that's how I found most of my puki's shoes, so mist of the time I don't know the origin for sure, but I'm sure if you search for the bundles online you could have great deals for cute shoes (I think even aliexpress sells a bunch of these shoes at random, like 5 pairs for 2 dollars), that could be an option too ;)

      • x 2
    45. Some Barbie Shelly shoes fit, but they seem to be rather tight, so there is no guarantee that everything will fit.The ballerina type shoes fit, but ones with a strap would probably be too tight. Simba Evi shoes are bigger and fit with socks, they would easily fall off otherwise.

    46. Does anyone happen to have a tan Cupid they would share pictures of?

    47. I have GOT to spend more time with my Tinies. Their happy little world is such a refuge for me and they make me happy. Such cute pics, everyone!
This one's not recent; I owe the tiny girl gang of pukis I have some proper tea party time.
This is Pip (pipi) and Tilly (a cupid and the latest iteration of a character previously known as Timmy) showing the differences between "restored" dyed NS and undyed NS in a reference pic. Pip has had the full spa treatment where I dyed the pinks back into her and dyed her joints, finger, ear, and toes tips all a blush pink so it wouldn't wear off with play.

    49. @Rosslyn your dolls are so cute ^^ I love the little crochet dresses <3

    50. Those look to be Barbie's "little sister" Kelly doll shoes, I have tons for my Troop. The flat ones fit, especially the "jelly" versions, which are very flexible. The opaque ones are a different plastic and sometimes fit snugly, but I haven't personally had an issue with them. Unfortunately they don't make that style of Kelly any longer, so eBay or other secondary markets are your best options. I've had luck at thrift stores or garage sales.

    51. So cute! I love that rainbow dress.

Thank you! I did not make them but I love how they look, and the exquisite work that goes into them, so these are from two different artists. Their friend, the third girl in this puki party, needs her own, I think in pink.

Yeah my favorite mass produced stuff for pukis is usually Kelly/Shelly stuff. Some shoes need to be slit at the backs for ease of removal but they work nicely. I miss the higher quality of older Kelly clothes. Tabloach used to be my go-to vintage kelly clothes dealer.

      • x 1
    52. My tip for kelly shoes is when using boots just forget the feet and put the boot in the feetless leg, some people put a magnet inside the boots to keep the doll standing, i never did, they stand ok in the ones i have

New wig, needing a cut (im so afraid of doing it wrong)

      • x 12
    54. Yeah, mine, too. I was really sad when she stopped selling the vintage Kelly and the Puki wigs. I had a mega-long wish list for her site...

    55. I found a seller with the most lovely little 6 and 8mm eyes!
It took a while in the mail to ship them but the wait was worth it.
Here is Pip my pipi on the left for reference, and Enu, ante, on the right, in the new 6mms. She needed them because the glastic 8mm eyes in the type Pip wears were just blacking out Enu's whole eye socket.

      • x 11
    56. I find that 6mm look the best, i sure need to buy some for Joy!

    57. It's been too long that this thread has been dormant....................a little fall fun with my tan Ante and her little fall friends.
