Fairyland Feeple 65 Discussion Part 7

Welp, it's exactly what I expected and I don't like it The girth of his of his thighs, calves, and biceps are way smaller and his pecs are flatter. Overall I think he just feels very tight and tense, especially around the shoulders. He's like a dehydrated version of the original. I know I'm the most biased person ever because the original body is my favorite, but why'd they have to mess with perfection??!! I'll stop complaining from now on though!

I edited the 3 Feeple65 male bodies together into one image for the sake of comparison! Maybe it will be useful to somebody.


2022, 2010, 2012?

 

I've often wondered that about all of Fairyland's various bodies- why not offer all versions for sale? Most companies update their bodies to improve posing or fix flaws. In Fairyland's case, their bodies have always posed amazingly and didn't have anything "wrong" with them, so the new bodies aren't so much an "improvement" but instead a different style. Which I understand- as artists, I'm sure they like to change things up. But if they've got multiple body types why not offer them all as options? They probably just don't want to keep up with that many molds.

They could even have special limited-time events where the old bodies are available to order with old and new heads. I feel like that would have a lot of appeal! I know a lot of people prefer the old F60 girl body over the newer Moe one.

And spot on about the new one looking tense and dehydrated! It's the same problem with the newer MNF and F60 bodies too :/ bummer

 

I can't believe how skinny his legs are. I kept looking at the pics on FB and thinking they were using Erda's bod. I love both my F65 boys, Roke and Roh. And CP always made the most beautiful legs. Past tense. I don't care for the angularity of the shoulders either. Too harsh. To be honest, I'm not in love with his face, so he's a miss for me. And I've been waiting forever! for a new 65.

Must go take new pics of lovely old guys now.

 

Oh shoot, the old body was gorgeous! Such a bummer they made the new one skinny I also hope they'll bring back the old body as an option

 

I am the odd man out here, but I like the new body. Maybe for the oddest reason though, it reminds me of a male Viera from FF14, and now I need Rick ever more. I do not think I have fallen this hard for a FairyLand doll in a while, everything about him makes me want this doll all the more.

 

I can empathize @Tippetarius. I have Erda & love his skinny self because it suits his nerdy teen mage character.

I do wish we had choices. Minis only have cutie legs. What happened to the model ones? Only f65 women have shapely legs now. (and why no smaller chest?)

Question, can the female high heel feet fit the male magnet ankles?
I know that the heel feet for MNF A-line girls can go on two of the male MNF bodies with magnet ankles, so kinda hoping it's the same with Feeple dolls.
If anyone knows the answer or has pix please share.

 

The new body is really skinny. I prefer the 2010 muscular body but doesnt seem like it's coming back

 

Welp FL may have finally snagged me. I love the new boy and the body.

 

I love everything about Rick, I'm ordering him soon as I can. The whole demon thing has me falling hard.
I still wonder if high heel feet from the 65 girls could work on either the 65 boys or the 60 ones if anyone can do some testing for me I'd be thankful.

 

Are there any pictures of Rick blank? I love him but I want to see him without makeup.

 

The body is new, you may need to contact Fairyland to find out if the f65 male/female can share feet.

Nope, I am asking about the old Feeple boys fitting the female heal feet, cuz FairyLand doesn't tend to change their feet and hand conecters too much between dolls of close size.

 

Looking at the new boy with that peekaboo outfit & thinking he's not THAT skinny.

 

please send mail to Fairyland. It's look like they'll close the old type body.

Truth be told, I like the old type muscular body more!
The new body looks toooooo slim and looks like F60 body have looooooong belly and legs.

 

I saw someone's old Feeple60 unboxing video where they put the female heeled feet on the male magnets, but I can't for the life of me find it.
I actually ordered the high heel feet with my F60 Alan, so I'll for sure know whenever I get it.

 

Can anyone tell me the actual height of F65 boys from the past? Thank you

 

Thanks @superXasian, that honestly helps to know.

My plan is to maybe order a pair of the heel feet when I order my Rick, and have either my Alan or Rick or both use them.(My Erda's character would never wear lady's shoes.) Logic says it should work as FL tends not to have a lot of deference in the ankle and wrist connections so that the hands and feet have more options, but we will see.

Rick's outfit is so cool, I am tempted.

 

So, nobody has ordered yet? I hope he's available for a few months yet as I can't purchase right now and wouldn't get the full set anyways

 

Well, I went ahead and put Rick on layaway. I also got the relaxed #3 hands and a few other things to bring the price up to the point it could qualify for the Sarang head. I got him in basic tan with no faceup. Do these event heads come with a head back? Or just the faceplate? Also, do you think the F65 faceplate is supposed to be a boy or a girl?

 

Welcome to Rick club @IngieBee , I ordered mine early into the event. As for the face plate I recall seeing something about the face plate needing a head back. So I decided I'd buy one later as my Rick is full set so needed to be on layaway. That and I am not sure I'm going to even use the face plate as much as I like it. As for it's gender I think the answer is yes? lol It looks to me like it could honestly go either way or even non-binary all by face up. Though something about it's lips and chin reminds me of Chic line's Rou. (mold name check?) So I line a little more maleish for the event face.

 

Yah, I can see Rou in there too I like the face, but I guess I'll wait to see which way I want to go with it. I might do non-binary since my first born came out, that's actually a fun idea. Do a doll in their honor

I should watch this thread honestly. Also I think the idea of a doll that's non-binarry to honor a family member is really sweet. I have a lot of different gendered dolls in my resin army. My 60 Erda is a trans-male, and my Rick is going to have a trans-female/genderfliud girlfriend. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my event face plate just yet, but once I make up my mind to get it a head back and a body I'll work from there. Maybe it'll be as close that Rou that got away as chic line is long gone now.

 

The F65 Sarang head reminds me of their old F65 sculpt Lorence! A little softer, perhaps...

Oh, that might be why I like it. @overlordu , Though I didn't get Lorance, he was my favorite of the F65 heads

I hope that helps, I know a lot of people do not like this new body, but I love it. However I like it cuz it reminds me of the male Viera in FF14, and I really like that kind of lean yet muscled build.

That body posing picture strip is also on the basic Rick page. Gosh I'm awfully excited about getting him!!!

 

I looked everywhere, buti couldn't find anything. Even the old info on measurements is inaccessible to me now, but might be there if you know the original URL. But I did find this on DOA and figure it's within the ballpark for Alice's 70 SD?

 

The measurements are the same ones that are available on the wiki. To view the measurments on the FL site you go to INFO -- LINKS -- Measurment Table. I'm assuming the measurements are the same as the previous bodies because they didn't specify "2022 Release" like they did with the F60 body.

Anyone have pictures of previous F65 boys to post? I'm excited for my order and this thread being so quiet makes me want to cry

about Feeple65 old muscular body
Well, I had asked Fairyland about the older Feeple65 muscular body, and he reply there’s no plan to release the older body.

 

I already figured that would be the case. But on a side note, I really didn't like the F60 Moe body when it came out, but I grew to really love its natural posing ability now. I'm putting my trust in this one, and I do hope they will take the time to improve their female body next. They are too hard to get to sit and not everyone likes big books. However, I don't want their realistic style to be changed!

 

Anyone want to post pictures? I've got Rick on layaway, and I can't get to my 2 girls at the moment as my sewing room is full of stuff as we re-arrange furniture, LOL. I really just love all the F65 dolls, and would love to see old and new pictures alike Please?

 

I have a bit of a wait for my Rick which will me my first feeple 65, though I have a small army of other Fairyland sizes. So I second asking if any owners want to post any old pix of their 65 dolls? I'm not picky on male or female or mold show us who you got.
I feel like the Feeple threads are not as active as the MNF one.

I ended up being bad, and found myself with a second Angela Type 2 for Samira, an ancient Persian vampire I had planned years ago, but never really found the right sculpt for. Turns out I can't resist that sensuality, especially when her custom faceup nails the ethnicity I wanted, with the tiny vampire nibblers she needed pre-modded from the get go.

@ChristinasDream , Thank you and thank goodness they finally posted that measurement table, I've been desperate to find it! Oh, and your Angela is stunningly beautiful! She really was made for tan skin! I wish I had waited and ordered her in tan I didn't do that with Rick. Thank goodness they offered him blank in tan!

BTW, I love that cardigan, how does Angela my Ake a simple cardigan look so sexy?!

 

Unfortunately, most people just don't care about anything other than Minifee. Watching nearly everyone I follow sell off their Angela Type 2 and Ingrid within months of getting them has been super upsetting. I know I'm biased towards 1/3 scale dolls, but I genuinely believe Feeple65 has consistently had Fairyland's best face sculpts (Chloe ran circles around her smaller, more popular counterparts), as well as their most aesthetically pleasing body. Only SartoriaJ and Iplehouse do comparably attractive large busts; all the others I've seen look like afterthoughts.

 

@ChristinasDream I know what you mean. It can be frustrating, but I'm just so thankful that they brought back F65 again. I didn't expect to ever see them for sale again. Although I'm disappointed in my Angela's faceup, I'm not disappointed in her sculpt and I'm glad I have her. That they made a boy is just as amazing as them releasing a girl again. I couldn't ask for more, other than I wish I could get the event head a F65 body.

 

I have Roke and Chloe from their first offering, Rho, Sylvia vampire, and Medusa.

I always loved Roke, but never had a character idea for one so never got one. I love seeing them though.

Funnily enough, I restrung my F65 Chloe the other day, too. Guess I need to get all of them together, even if I feel awkward having three Feeple65 girls, and two of them are even the same sculpt.
