yeah thats what i was planning, but she was ordered through DDE so i'll go through them. i know theyre on hiatus, so all i'll have to do it wait ^^

 

Glad to be ABLE to help! Let us know what you find out over on the What Fits thread. There's quite a few MNF/CLine hybrids!

 

I would go ahead and contact them right away. The hiatus is on sales and ordering, but they are still producing dolls to fill the June orders. You might be able to slip in under the wire because it's a replacement part, not a new part...

 

I've just e-mailed them so I'll see how they go ^^

I'm so happy because I found my camera! It was in my "doll closet" LOL, on a shelf! I only accidentally saw it otherwise I would never have thought to look in there! Anyway, it's not a great camera but it will take a picture, so I can finally show off my Lishe faceplate. Ok, it's just another default faceup Lishe, but I love her! She'll be sharing her body with Ino So here's her picture

I just bought a Lishe off the MP! I'm very excited to be adding one of these fabulous girls to my collection. I don't even have her yet and already I feel a boyfriend coming on...

 

Watch out xhanthi...she likes to have several BF to help carry boxes when she's shopping! LOL!

I'm getting the Anubis mask and the headdress to use with my current fellows.

 

I checked my order status a little bit ago and totally forgot I ordered the headdress. I guess I better start looking at getting it lined up for painting.

 

I'm getting a Fabilis too... and he'll have the little Anubis head and Pharaoh mask and the trident.... (and he's a fullset). It's been three months now, so I'm hoping he won't take much longer.

It is perhaps a stupid question, sorry, but I noticed that Fairyland has stopped taking preorders on the Chicline a la carte dolls; I wanted to order Ineffa and I was asking myself if this stop was temporary or not. Thank you for your answer!

 

bianca: sorry to bear bad news, but production of the Chic Lines is on hiatus until after the end of the year.

 

I ordered mine before production was cut off, through DDE. It's two months and counting...

 

I decided to wait until they restart production before thinking about getting one (instead of looking on the MP)... so hopefully they will come out with more sculpts ^_^

 

I'm hoping for more sculpts too. I just think it's so great to have such a mature looking doll in such a compact size.

 

I want to see what is different about them when they re-release them. I wonder if it's something internal that will make them easier to string for the poor blighters that have to do it for us

 

Did they mention that was why they were taking them out of production, to alter their mechanics/body sculpt? I only saw that they took them off but not why. Did they say why?

I'm waiting for a new sculpt and/or fantasy parts... though I do like Lishe. I gotta wait either way so, hoping for new sculpts is making the wait easier... a tiny bit. lol

 

No word was given on why, just that they were going to be put on hold till after the end of the year.

 

Oh they said on twitter "that also means the body won't be available for purchase as entire production of C-Line will be on halt till update" when I asked them if I could buy just the body when I thought it was just the ALC they were halting the production of.
I took the word update to mean they were changing something but it may very well be that the update is just letting us know about re-production of the line. *snicker reproduction snicker* Ahem! no really, I'm am mature and stuff

 

Herm. Interesting. Well I'm excited to see what they do with them.

 

Well, considering they also took some of Pukis, all the F70s and the RealPukis off sale at the same time for the same amount of time, I don't think they're going to change anything drastic. I believe they're just updating things - and Chic-lines aren't old enough to need any body upgrades or anything.

 

Yes, their Twitter made the additional comment that they're absolutely swamped with orders. THAT could be the primary reason right there!

 

That makes sense since they're supposedly so time consuming to string. Same with the realpuki cos of their teeny tinyness.
Poor Fairyland, it's not their fault they're so darn awesome.

 

Oh for sure that makes sense. I didn't even think about all that.

 

I hope you're right: I love Chicline dolls the way they are now! Sigh, so bad news that I'll have to wait long for my next girl...

Oh she's gorgeous!!!! These dolls just amaze me... so real like an SD but so small... I'm so excited... though I'll be waiting for a while haha

 

The temporary un-listing is sort of a blessing for me... it means more time for me to save up, so I won't be tempted to blow my whole paycheck on a ChicLine right away! My resin addiction is getting really serious...

 

I hear that DFS: I used to just like the CL.. but now there are two on my want list. But I already have 2DZ on layaway, a SOOM Fairy, will be ordering a PP Ante... thank goodness I can't try to eat ramen for a month to get a CL hahahaha

...You know, I totally COULD live on ramen for a month for a ChicLine... I'd just have to be really creative. Soup ramen, ramen salad, fried ramen with chicken and veggies...

After that, any ChicLine I bought would inevitably be nicknamed Ramen, though.

Well, I've been lurking. I had a Lishe head by Forever_Virginia, sold it. No body to go with it and it just seemed too small for me. Then, I started lurking again on the thread and decided I'd go for the whole doll. Doesn't it figure Fariyland puts a HOLD on purchasing? LOL

Luck is with me though... I came across Ino on the marketplace and she's on her way. Yay! I'm really looking forward to having the whole doll this time. I'll be sure to post pics next week once she arrives.

Keep those photos coming. I love all your collections and ideas.

Yes I ordered him in tan with a face up and the anubis head has the face up too. If I would have waited just a few days I could have done a skin comparison between him and the chocopuki I had but she's already on her way to her new home.
