I didn't realize the Adelas dragons were shipping! I ordered mine through Legenddoll. Hopefully she will come soon. She should have a baby Gary with her. I'm so excited. I've never had a doll like this (mind you, I'm still pretty new to bjds).

 

My Athos should ship soon. Monday was the 20-day area that AC had emailed me about, so I'm watching my phone all week long for an official notice. OwO;;

(I might wait to post for a bit too cuz I want his dye and faceup done, plus his outfit so I can put my entire character together. XD But the basic doll as it is will be posted today for sure!)

Helloo! I thought I will jump in here too as I started a layaway for a Fullset Mia in tan skin last month (body without extra arm).
It was kind of love at first sight when I saw her and like I love that gum bubble! The fullset clothes are so nice too, really like the color. I am excited to see her in real especially how the tan skin looks, hope it's as pretty as I imagine.

Also got a white dumpling for her as you could get one for 30$ with the event.
Ordered her through Alice's Collection, btw does anyone know if the production already starts while doing the layaway or only after?

I received my shipping notice for Ann today! (Took longer due to being tan and I chose both face-up and body blushing)

I haven't posted an unboxing in years, so I might with this one. I haven't seen many tan DV dolls overall, and that's a shame.

 

Oh I would LOVE to see it! Especially since I wasn't successful to find any before I ordered mine in tan so I am curious ^-^

 

Shipping notices are like Christmas Eve. XD The waiting in this hobby is a long time, but man, when that notice finally comes, it's like Christmas multiple times a year. Or your Birthday for those folks who don't celebrate it! It's so awesome!

Seems orders currently take about 3-4 months huh? Guess my body should be ready by the time I finish my layaway. Got the 3rd payment out of 4 coming up end of this month for my 51cm boy body. I’m really stoked to get it! Partly because it looks so dang beautiful, and also because I’ll have another excuse to use my rotary tool again.

 

Hi everyone! I feel like I haven't checked on this waiting room in so long! I'm still waiting on the Yo-SD Ian I ordered in December, but I'm pretty sure he'll be here this month since this is my 5th month in waiting I hope everyone's doing well!

 

Ann arrived today! (Along with the DuoDuo pet doll that was part of AC's promotion at the time)

I only had enough time to open her box and look inside, but can't take her out until later. Her tan resin is translucent and a little on the orangey side, but we'll see when I get her unpacked.

 

Aahh congratulations!!! Ann is such a sweet sculpt and I know there has been some interest in seeing DV's tan skin too, i can't wait to see your girl

 

I'll be at 6 months in a week I'm remembering now why I tend to stick to the second-hand market...

I paid off my layaway early, so now I just have to buckle in and ride out the rest of the wait! On the bright side, the 51cm body should ship around early July, so that's about one more month to go. I can't wait to see a Dream Valley doll in person!

I'm anxiously waiting my DV orders so I had to come here to find others in the same situation. :'D

My biggest jitters at the moment are thanks to an in-stock normal-skinned Ann I found on Alice's Collections - when I was so sure I would never get one since I wasn't around for the event last autumn! I got so lucky, and that kind of created this whole snowballing effect...

You see, I saw the Glen wolf and fell in love, and the Glen doll itself was right up my alley too! Before I found the Ann though I wasn't entirely sure I wanted to buy enough to get the wolf, but then I found myself putting both a white and a normal skinned Glen into my shopping basket (so that I can mix the heads & bodies of Ann and Glen when they arrive) and threw in a Hyaline head too to get that wolf I coveted. So I ended up spending way more than intended, but hey, this is my first doll purchase in 10 years, I feel I'm allowed. xD

Ann is already in the mail and I go to stare at the tracking every day, haha. I know the others will take forever but I hope Ann will get my mind off the wait at least a bit. uwu

Sorry about the long glurge, I'm just a bit too excited!

 

Ugh....I'm still waiting on the Cecelia dolls to start getting shipped. I have about 150 and change left on her layaway and probably a month of wait left.

But hnnnn. I just want to see her! She's my very first full set doll I've bought in this hobby. I mean, I have others to work on while she gets finished. It's just horrid impatience while I wait for bjdivas to tell me she's there so I can fling the rest of the money at them. *siiiiiiigh*

 

Okay, I never posted these things. But I placed an order through Denver doll about December. And I am dying for my doll to get here. I emailed them last month and they quoted me another six to eight weeks to wait. I am so excited for this order. And seeing other people already getting theirs is making me even more excited.

 

This'll be month four on my 70cm body, it seemed like wait times used to be 4months but based on what others are saying here waits may be a bit longer now. :p


The head for mine won't likely be here for a while anyway, but I'd like to get the body in my hands and start commissioning clothes for him!

Decided to pay my 50cm boy body off early last week since I recently put a Lillycat girl on layaway and didn’t want to have to worry about two doll payments being due early next month.

I also asked BJDivas when they’re thinking they’ll be getting late March/early April orders (since I ordered my body in very late March), and they said it might not be until August. D; We’re crossing our fingers for earlier though! Guess I shoulda hopped on getting this body last year when their wait times were still pretty short.

 

Today I got tracking number for my Athos, he was ordered in December

It never hurts to ask. You can just ask how the order is going or any news.

 

I ask dealers about my order all time. I am not very patient person and I always try to find any information about it, so I belive that you should email them. Especially if you wait for so long.

 

Haha, I ordered mine at the very end of May, because I was contemplating until the very end if I want to use that much money to get the wolf... yes. Yes I did. The answer was pretty easy there, in the end. xD My wait will be a bit longer than yours, but at least I know that when yours arrives mine will be following soon after! So I hope yours arrives asap! lol

It seems there will be many wolves joining us this year! I'm really excited to see them all!

I'm not surprised that the wait times ha e increased but I'd be lying if I said I wasnt disappointed.

I really enjoyed my 3.5 month wait time on my first order but after that it seems people are waiting closer to 5-6 months.

Which means I won't get my order until probably Sept- Oct. I've pretty much already burnt myself out of the hobby other than the ideas I have for my Mia and Cerise I ordered here.

 

Just got word my DV Adela + Gary is ready to be shipped! It's been since December, so looks like this could be the average wait?

 

Ooooh yaaay!!! you must be super excited!! Yeah, i imagine DV has really started to get noticed as a company so now they have a lot more orders

I also have a December order so this gives me hope that my own wait is almost done

I ordered my Human Cecelia Fullset through BJDivas in May, I have a 9 month layaway so I have a long time to wait, but I'm so excited!

 

I'm so jealous!! I really wanted a glen but at the time they came out I was in the middle of two other layaways and just couldn't take on another. He is SO CUTE.

I hope so! Cecelia just has the perfect face for the character I want to make her into, and her blushing and faceup just match so perfectly. I'm hoping towards the end of my layaway (January would be my last month) I'll save up enough money to pay her off sooner. Excited to see what others do for her!
