[MENTION=64464]Miuu[/MENTION] To be honest, I was actually fretting over whether I'd like his lips around 2 weeks before his arrival. :'D The company photos make them resemble those god-awful duck lips the more I look at them, and I had only gone ahead with the order after I found some owner photos of the sculpt. But then I made the mistake of going back to look at the company photos almost everyday after that... Thankfully, he looks waaay better than what I had expected.


I have no sexy pictures this time, but I've just put up a photostory involving Rin with a small cameo from Tsurayuki, my Lahoo. ^^

I've never really considered doll anniversaries, since it'll just give me another excuse to splurge on the dolls, but it sure looks fun!

Celebratory Erynn spam, as I bought her a friend yesterday! (Well, I bought his head! OT for this thread, but I am sure he will come up once in a while - I got an Akagi Ban, then I need to get a body) Erynn is pretty excited about finally having her boy home - he has been planned for a while but I'd never found the right head!

I added new extensions to his wig. Yay~ I will probably trim a few since it's rather long.

@Buzzibee: Oooh that's such a lovely picture of your group there. I never really pictured for birthdays or anniversaries possibly because I don't have the necessary props but I'm building some here and there. Thank you for sharing : D

I finally found the perfect eyes for him and it's from Souldoll. His extension I got from leekeworld and I dyed the color myself. Unfortunately it's not the color I wanted since I wanted a dark purple. I believe it's because the extension is gray which is why the purple doesn't come out. Next time I will search for white ones so I can dye them.

 

[MENTION=67261]BlueyKiwi[/MENTION] - oh my goodness, Krow is gorgeous! I love his eyes, they are amazing! And thank you for the comments on my girl - I made the wee hat ages back (used a plain black one as a base) and think I need to make her a few more!

 

LOVING everyone's pics! I've been working on clothes and things for dolls that are off-topic for this thread, but I think I'll take Tohma out and snap a few pics soon. I'm also about to pay off a body for Orrell, my Dream #13 head, so soon I'll have two complete DoD boys!

Edit: I just realized that I got a Dream 13 head, and I have 13 as part of my SN. I have a thing for that number, can you tell?

Krow looks so beautiful with the purple eyes (purple is my favourite colour ). Rin is gorgeous, like always, too.

I should really stay away from looking at DoD dolls, as they are all so pretty. But Lilth keep on coming (back) to mind!

 

Orrell's body finally came home, so now he's complete! Orrell is a DoT Dream 13 head on the new body 2. I think I'm going to end up getting him the same color eyes in a smaller size, but he's here!

It's fine and thank you! That clothes is from DollHeart. That shirt though...it took me at least 10 minutes to get it on. It's very tight and not looking forward to taking it off x-x. Now that I think about it, I want his ear pierced.

 

God that boy of yours is so cute! How big are the new dream heads measurement wise? DOD just put that they're DOT size but they look a bit bigger to me.

 

It depends on the dream head, I think. Also, DOT and DOI heads are very similar in size. This is my DH 16 on a DOI body. He wears 8-9 inch wigs and 16 mm eyes.

 

Hey guys I need some help with eyes. I'm pretty new still so I'm not too sure if I'm measuring my boys eyes right. I have a DOD Sha and I'm pretty sure he is wearing 16mm eyes. The iris is too big in my opinion and you can barely see any white in his eyes. I was wondering what size eyes other Sha owners have in their boys. Maybe some pictures if you could. I'm thinking of switching him to 14mm eyes but I'm scared he'll end up looking shocked constantly. Please and thank you!~

 

I haven't done the "head switching thing" yet, but they look about the same size. Both Tohma (DoI Luke) and Orrell (Dream head #13) wear 16mm eyes. If you don't mind waiting until later tonight, I can take a pic of them with their heads swapped.

I'm in the process of getting both my DOT boys ready to blush, but things have gotten busy again and they're still sitting in pieces on the floor. It's nice popping in here to see other peoples dolls.

Been making up for it by hanging out with my U-i.

@bellabellababy I swapped all my DOTs out for 14mm eyes. I think the extra white is easier to photograph. I've sanded their eye wells a bit too as I had too much gap with the eye domes and thick eye resin.

 

Welp, here is Tohma (DoI Luke) and Orrell (Dream head #13 on a DoT New-2 boy body). I think the Dream head looks great on the new-2 body. Also, since this is the first time I've had both boys side by side, I can see that there is a definite difference in head size. IIRC, Tohma's wearing a 9/10 and so is Orrie, but its a bit large on him. If I had to guess, I'd say that he's a 8/9, but I love his wig so much I don't really care that its a bit large.

Anyone else have a Dream head? What size wig does s/he wear?



Hmmm...I'm thinking that Tohma's eyes might be 18mm, and Orrie's might be 16mm. They were gifts from various friends.

@bellabellababy I've currently got 16mm in my Sha. I've been meaning to try 14mm, but I, er, don't have any. Except for the ones in my E-line, but they're his so I'm not popping them out, haha. Anyway, here's a pic I'd snapped of my boy (incidentally, from when I got him new eyes).

@Embracing Sky Oh thank you for the help, yeah it looks like my boy is wearing 16mm too then. I also now know that that hair color looks great on him!
