Hi everyone, I’m just looking for a Dollstown 17 girl body but now on their website the body becomes preorder status . I cry myself for this status line, Am I so emotional? Because I had taken a look at this waiting room for a long time ago and I don’t have any hope for this body come to me sooner than 5-6 months.
Does anyone get DT body in preorder status these days please? Could you tell me how long did your DTs come home from the preorder days? Thank you for your help.

 

I sent DT an email just last week asking how long the wait times were for bodies ordered via preorder and was told 2-3 months. Which resin color you order could have an effect on the wait times. I asked about the oriental resin color.

 

As I read on this topic and another account on youtube, seems like most of the cases received several emails like this or “just wait for more 2 weeks and your dolls will ship” but it’s not true, the account on Youtube said that she waited her DT 18 yrs girl body in 8 months. That’s mean they’re waiting for more than the time DT promised.

 

Well, that could definitely be true since Dollshe casts the DT dolls, and I have first hand experience with how long those waits are. I was just reporting what I was told recently.

 

Oh I'm sorry about that, thank you for your information. Yesterday I was just uneasy with the feeling that I could never had a DT body for my girl right at next month or something nearby this free time. It's my fault to delay the order. Now just remnant heads are shipping on two weeks. I also in DollShe waiting list so sad.

 

I just noticed that Dollstown just put up a 15% off anniversary sale on their bodies. Just in case you are interested.

Hello all!

I put in an order for the J head and the 15yr boy body in pure fresh skin at the end of April. Really excited for this because I fell in love with the sculpt for J and I’m really looking forward to creating this character. He’s perfect!

They said he’ll ship in 1-2 months....so hopefully that’s accurate as I’d love to get him sooner rather than later of course.

 

I just read through this thread and saw that Dollshe does the casting for DT. So I guess we’ll see what the wait is like. I also have a Saint and Arsene in order from Dollshe.

 

Just thought I’d pop in here to wait too. I ordered a body at the end of December and basically made myself forget about it because I know the wait will be long lol.

Yep, same issue here.

though I did send them an email checking in the eta for my order last week and heard back.

just saw that they said on their Flickr account that it’s down for repairs.

Yesterday I send an Email to Dollstown, as I ordered a Soyu head (on stock) shortly before the website broke down. They answered on the same day, that my doll will be shipped at the beginning of next week.
If this was not a lie, my waiting time for shipping is about 3 weeks.

Edit: now is the end of 'next week', still no shipping...

 

just sent dollstown an email about my order. hopefully they get back to me soon!
the site being down and the (understandable, given the circumstances) delay has me a little anxious.....

edit: i got a reply! after clarifying my address + phone number i was told my body would be shipped next week. hopefully it does get sent! it was supposedly being wrapped when i got a reply to my email, but we'll see.

 

I got a response too. Didn’t get an exact date on shipping, but got my address and number reconnected with my order!

ooo i just got a tracking number!! i'm so excited i haven't received anything resin in so long...
hopefully i get my package soon! according to auspost express shipping from korea is taking from 8-14 days, it's not that long compared to the wait i've had until now, but now that i'm so close to getting the body it's going to be like 10 times more excruciating.

 

I got my tracking number as well. They told me, they'll ship it tomorrow.

 

woke up this morning and noticed that i had an unsuccessful delivery attempt on my tracking...
it was going through customs in korea before that, so i can only assume it either didn't get through somehow, or it's just a wrong scan. the reason for unsuccessful delivery is blank, so i'm going to hope it's the latter.
guess i can only wait for another tracking update...

 

Finally got my Soyu head today!!!
My tracking number did not work and I slowly began to worry...
I thought I would have to wait much longer, so I was really surprised and very happy!

 

my body finally arrived today! honestly what a relief!
i'm really happy with it! it was a really expensive body, especially by my standards, but it was 100% worth it. it's the first bit of resin i've had that didn't feel plastic-y in any way.

i didn't get any updates after that, which is pretty strange for EMS! my package arrived within the expected time though and the tracking number on the box was what i'd been provided with, so I guess it was just a mistake? i also checked your profile and noticed we're both in australia, so it could also just be a weird thing happening to packages bound for aus?

i honestly wouldn't bother worrying about it until your package is late!

Yes I’m in Western Australia at the moment, but am from New Zealand and hoping to move back once we have sorted a few things and with all this covid stuff happening it’s crazy times! My order just cleared US customs today. It went in on July 15th, so if you’re in the US, prepare for slow customs.

 

Bhaha! I’m back from Apr and guess what? My 17yrs girl body still doesn't have any shipping information. So, exactly 5 months. And I may wait for more 3 months but I’m ok now. I bought A LOT of dolls after her so I'm not lonely anymore. I’m just bankrupt

 

I have an elf body from May and an 18 yr Girl body from Aug on order, both in copper oriental, Dollstown said that the waits will be longer than normal when I placed my 18 yr body order, so I’m anticipating 6 months at the earliest, but probably longer — I would be stoked at six months lol.

 

Someone on Youtube said that she waited 8 months for her 18yrs body. So I guess it's an 8months waiting now Good luck both of us

Wow! I just got an email told me that my Dolltown 17 body ready to ship after 6 months and 4 days ( I ordered her from Apr 30). Hopefully, all of you will get a shipping notification next month.

 

Just got my notice of ready to ship as well for my Elf body in copper oriental ordered May 26! I also ordered an 18 yr body in August, so still waiting on that one.

Oh man, I also have a Dollshe order of three dolls still waiting from May 2019 lol. Two of them are copper oriental so maybe he did get those done along with the one pale skin. I would love to get those by end of year, would be nice! Right now I'm thinking of getting another Dollstown girl on the 17 yr body, not certain the skin color yet so I'm going to sit on it for a minute.

 

Amazingly, your order is from May 2019? OMG, I can’t expect anything now. I ordered from DollShe 3 dolls: a Bermann mystic body with full payment directed from DollShe website, the other two are Amanda beauty and a Khan in 1 year layaway with BJDivas. All of them are in Copper oriental because I heard that the colour is really nice.
Ah, do you planned to buy some fancy skin colour like cocoa tan or green something?

 

Oh yes, May 2019 and there are people who have been waiting much longer than me. Dollshe is a year at least wait, but think closer to two. I ordered Erica Snow head, Ausley love and Amanda beauty, all 26F Classics, two in copper oriental and one in pale skin. I have a Dollstown 18yr body coming in for the Erica snow head. But I want to get a Dollstown Byula on the 17 yr old body, but I'm waffling between oriental, copper oriental and pale tan. I always wanted a pale tan Soph A on elf body but she was discontinued before I could get her, unfortunately. I have two pale tan dolls from Dollshe and love them, plus a Dolltown 18 yr boy in oriental. The oriental is really really lovely. When I get the copper oriental elf body that I ordered, I'll probably make a choice on skin color since I'll have them all to compare in person.

 

Amazing! You have a lot of dolls from DollShe and Dolltown body. I envy you LOL because they are two of the most beautiful BJD brands that I know. Of course Popovy also, they are the most elegant dolls but they are not the realistic style that I mention.
And do you intend to order any new DollShe? like Lisa 26F or Carl Mars 28M? They attack me at the first look ～♡ really gorgeous faces but his new dolls seem...less characteristic as before.

 

I got my last Dollshes in 2012, then took a very long break from collecting until last year. I have a Dollshe King Corey on order but he will be a long wait. The other sculpts don't interest me at the moment, thankfully! But I will not purchase any Dollshe dolls that aren't in resin yet -- the 3D renders might be nice but I like to see it finished first before making a decision. Dollstown was that brand that was under the radar for me for a long time and once I got my first one, I've been wowed by them! So I wanted to make sure I got the ones I wanted from them. Outside of Byula, I do like Soi, Yujin and Rian so who knows what the future will hold for my DT doll collection. but I'm done for this year LOL

So passionate! Yes, me too. This year I’m run out of cash and will not effort any doll except the Soom ID in layaway. I love Soi and Byula so much that I think about getting her at the time I purchase the DT body for my Dandelion Bingmong. In the end I stop my plan to get their heads and ship them to next year's plan. Seems like Byula head must use the 18yrs body to give the perfect ratio. That's my imagination

My body that I ordered last May got here today! The resin color is not quite what I was expecting, I thought that Dollstown resin would match with Dollshe? Maybe it’s just this batch, but the pure fresh is a lot pinker than I was expecting. Has anyone else experienced this? Still excited and grateful that she got here safe and sound.

 

Unfortunately I read Dollshe changed the resin mix....................the oriental body I ordered in the May sale didn't match my older oriental resin either.

 

Oh that is unfortunate. Oh well.

 

Hello! Did anyone order from Dollstown during the January sales event? I'm still waiting on two bodies, an Elf and the 18yrs boy. Unfortunately, I didn't know Dollshe was casting for Dollstown and his wait times are atrocious :'( I contacted DT a few months after I ordered and they said my Elf body was ready, but they're still waiting for the 18 boy. I'm hearing that Dollshe has changed their resin too? I hope the oriental will still match, it's for my Soom Phonolus head. This may be the most stressed I have been after placing an order for a doll lol

 

I hope others chime in, but I ordered an Elf and a 7yr old body during their April Anniversary sale. I haven't yet emailed them to see if there was a status updates, so I will be looking forward to when your bodies arrive. I have similar concerns to you about the resin color changing as I'm trying to match my Black Cherry Dolls Xiao Yu head. Let's hope it's not so drastic.

Update (2021-08-25): With the launch of their new site, I was able to see some "in stock" items, so I grabbed the 17yr vision body. After @zomjirate mentioned emailing them, I did the same to see if they have any updates, and they finally responded today to confirm that they have my bodies. They are going to try to ship them out next week! So I might be getting 3 bodies at once or at least in short succession if the timeline holds true.

Update (2021-09-15): I got a tracking number for my Elf and 7yr body. No word yet on my "in stock" 17yr Vision body yet. I'm hoping by the end of the month that the two smaller bodies are home and the vision body is shipped. Will update when they arrive!

I'm afraid that since they use Dollshe to cast their dolls, the times could've gone way up since my last order. I ordered from DT way back in 2015 and the doll arrived in less than 3 months. Can I hope for the similar waiting times? Honestly scared to order solely because they use Dollshe as a casting company.

 

I have never had trouble ordering from dollstown. The wait has increased but I know that the copper oriental usually takes longer. I ordered Harang in copper oriental and Teo in fresh skin 3/25/21. I received them this week. The time before that (ordered and delivered pre covid) it took 3 1/2 months.

 

i just got my notice for regular OR skin, 17yr & and 18yr and one Teo head
this was my first order with DT, and they have been so nice about everything.

 

@Xiaoli So the times have doubled, I see. I can deal with 6 months without a problem, it's waiting for more than a few years what scares me

Ordered: 17yr Girl Body in Oriental. Date: 09.30.21. Paid in full.

Fingers crossed I will receive it by New Year's.
This body doesn't even have a head yet, but I was so in love with the sculpting that I had to have it.

 

Ooh! I went ahead and created a wait list wiki page and added my entries and yours here. I hope your wait time is short! Still no shipping notice on my "in stock" vision body, but based on earlier comments in this thread, that's not unexpected.

 

@VeraLyne Appreciate you creating that page and adding my info to the list. I see we've made our orders only 5 days apart from each other, so it'll be interesting to see how soon they arrive. Especially because yours is something that was marked as "in stock".
Honestly, I was also tempted to order the 17yr Body in Fresh because it was in stock, but then I'd have trouble matching the resins, etc. Not worth the shorter waiting time.

i added mine too, and for the record, they were on hand around Sept 25, but not shipped yet, i think they were getting back in the swing after the holiday period. i'm super excited

 

@0100, @Grimalkin - Happy to help! Lucky for me, the DoA mods made a guide, so I just followed the instructions. That said, some threads have the waitlist wiki page connected with the waiting room thread on the first page. I haven't found a way to do that, so I've asked the mods to see if they can help. Hopefully it can get connected so people don't have to hunt and peck for the page!

I actually ordered my "in stock" doll on August 25th, so it's been about six weeks since my order. I plan on making a post on the Q&A board sometime this week to inquire.

I realized I never posted my DT7 & DTElf bodies (I did post in the Black Cherry Doll thread). This is my first time owning a Dollstown body, and they are so elegant. They fall into poses so naturally; I look forward to when I can do a photo session with them. I am really looking forward to when my vision body is home!

Dollstown Elf is without a doubt the most aesthetically pleasing MSD body out there. The realism, the details, the proportions. That sculpting is something else! Does it pose well?
I will admit, I was soooo tempted to get it and pair it with Elysia head. Don't think it'd be a good fit tho. since Elysia was made for the 3.0 line.

 

i got my tracking number! i'm really looking forward to seeing them, i've admired them for so long and I seem to always just miss out on second hand sales.
