    3. Hey guys? How long does it usually take to get a reply/answer for an email?

    4. I've gotten replies almost immediately (a couple of times) but it usually takes twenty-four to forty-eight business hours. . . I have waited up to four days.

    5. Congratulations! I'm so glad that worked out for you.

    6. Oh, OK... because it's going to be week since I mailed them, but I didn't get any answer yet. I'll give it couple more days and then try again.

    7. Glad to hear dollshe are being generous :D

    9. I have ordered a Rey Lewis and I wonder which eye size would suit him best? Does anyone here have one who could recommend a size that works?

      Thanks!

    10. Can anyone supply comparison pictures of either Honey Raspberry or Honey Strawberry resin? I think I might finally be caving and ordering an Erica Snow (funnily enough, to shell a character named Irika)

    11. I've got Honey Raspberry, and this handy chart I made last year!

    14. Did you get a response?

    15. I finally did it. I ordered a Saint because of the sale. On an enormously long layaway, but its been done. I have some fun mod ideas that I hope to have the skill to do by the time he arrives.:celebrate

    16. @Havra Thank you so much for this! Those eyes look like the perfect size that I want for him, so 12mm it is~

    17. I didn't, so I looked on their website whether or not do they have another contact email. I found that "sometimes the message may be overlooked and left without a response as other newer mails come in, and their advice to repost any mail that went unanswered for longer than a week".
So I emailed them again and got answer couple hours later.
To my surprise I was informed that my doll might be shipped next week (but I don't really keep my hopes up - no expectations, no disappointment...)
I've also been told that the EN head isn't finished (I ordered one of their special packs they had on sale in November), so I should decide whether I want a refund for that head or another available head. So I picked the SA David Kuncci head I was eyeing for some time. (I am not even mad - I never really cared for the EN head anyway.)
Then they answered quite fast that it is possible and that they will contact me again "when the doll is finished".

    18. @Shire13 cautiously optimistic?
I am living vicariously through you guys getting in on the sale.

It's been sunny today and I took a few pictures. New faceup and wig :sweat

    19. @Girrl - Always happy to help. Feel free to do with this as you wish.

@golo - Aww he looks super cute! I love all the colours in the wig, it's got such a lovely depth to it.

    20. @Quiet and Insane Thank you!

Also, does freedom tellerโ€™s 70cm size fit the mystic body, if anyone knows?

    21. I would love to order a bjd from Dollshe but after reading so much negative feedback about their customer service, I am genuinely afraid to spend my money there. What advice could you give me?

    22. The 2nd-hand market is generally a good place to start if what you're after isn't some sort of tough to find doll. Depending on what resin colour/sculpt you want, the search might not even be that hard of a thing. Best thing about 2nd-hand Dollshe is you don't need to wait until the planets align perfectly to finally get your doll. A Dollshe order requires infinite patience.

For me, my only choice was buying direct from Dollshe as I wanted a Saint in espresso ebony in the new 55cm (Classic Mini) size. Finding an espresso ebony for sale would be tough as I haven't seen that many out in the wild in that colour. Finding a Saint in that colour even more of a challenge. The new 55cm size? Yeah, nobody has gotten any of them yet, myself included and I'm part of the first order period for them *sigh*.

I placed my initial order for a Fashion (44cm) Saint in espresso ebony on April 24, 2018 and got the confirmation upgrade for the same sculpt/colour in the 55cm June 27, 2018. I'd sent an email in mid-December 2018 to ask if they had any idea of when my guy would be done and they responded with a few more months. We're now close to 1/2 way through April (4 months later) and no word on when I'll get my doll.

    23. BJDivas often has in stock dolls. I bought my Arsene fashion from them. Basic resins in pureskin. pay the full amount, get your doll in a few days. or use layaway. putting up a WTB here in the marketplace is a good idea, too. put it in your signature. good luck. :clover

    24. I second ordering through BJDivas for Dollshe. They have excellent service and communication. Youโ€™ll still have a long wait though. :)

    25. Hey everyone! I'm thinking about purchasing a doll from Dollshe now that they're having a 50% off...but i have some doubts! are they gonna discontinue the head molds or also the bodies? will they keep producing the same type of bodies with the new heads? (I mean i wanna order a full Grant Philippe but i also need a body for a floater). Also best order straight to them or through a dealer? I've seen that you've said through BJDivas but i'm in Spain so i was wondering if there was a dealer in Europe for them?

    26. A while ago, start of last year I think, Dollshe dumped all their dealers and only kept BJDivas I believe? BJDivas does sell to all over the world though, and it says in their info that they get Dollshe shipped directly to people outside of the US directly from Dollshe so if you're worried about customs, that might help?

    27. Oh i see! So the dolls don't go to the US and then shipped over Europe...I guess that may help with customs and also being less expensive on the shipping and such? hmmm it's something to consider!

    28. Thank you @Iron_Dog!, I am going to have a look around to find second hand dollshe dolls too. I have no rights to search the market place yet so will have a look on Insta.

    29. @petiteballerine and @Chikku, I found bjddivas too and they have indeed good customer service as they replied instantly on questions from me. I am going to check them out further too. Thanks!

    30. @Tureluur I advise caution with other places for 2nd hand Dollshe as his dolls are very heavily recast. I'm not saying that every one you see for sale outside of DoA is a recast but definitely use caution. Likely avoid ebay as well because so much of what you see there is recast *sigh*. Some of the listings on ebay even flat out state they're recast dolls *grrrrrrrr*

Stay active here on DoA and you'll get MP access eventually. There are quite a few Dollshe of various sizes, sculpts and resin colours available at any given time. I know it's hard to wait for access. We've all been there. But it is worth it not only for the dolls but things like wigs, eyes, clothes, face-up artists.... it's a valuable resource for all manner of things you're going to find you need.

    31. Part of me has been wanting to get one of the 26F girls for a really long time, and now that theyโ€™re on sale Iโ€™m so tempted! :sweat Especially since I have a head that could share the body. Every time I think Iโ€™m going to stop buying for a while, Dollshe has a sale! xD

    32. I'm so sad/glad I'm broke right now. Those lovely 26F girls would destroy my bank account if I let them, but I'm going to be a responsible adult about it and only sigh a bit. I'll just console myself that the skin tone I want isn't available in the sale.

    33. The heavy sale is what has actually pushed me off the edge to buy a Grant Phillipe and also a body for a floater that i have...I'm super scared cos it's my first doll, so i'm in full panic mode!

    34. Well, I just got my Grant Phillippe (he is my first doll, only got a head before him) and he is absolutely wonderful :)

      • x 1
    35. I got a crush on him the first day I came across Dollshe for the first time 3 years ago and it was love at first sight. I think it's the bohemian style that the doll has in the company pictures...BUT HE'S SO HANDSOME GOODNES

    36. The sale is seven kinds of tempting but I've already gone waaaaay over the dolly budget and the year isn't even half done. But damn those prices are all kinds of sweet

      • x 1
    37. C'mon Dollshe what are you trying to do to me?? Temptation is very bad right now....damn 50% off SD size girls?? UGH!!!! Must resist!!

    38. Can anyone here tell me the exact measurements of the Arsene body's neck? I would like to know if it is truly 12.5cm as listed on the Dollshe's website. If possible, I would like to know the exact measurements at the top of the neck where the head would sit, and also the measurements where the neck ends and the upper trapezius begin to flare.

    39. Isn't he? :D I tried to resist him for so long until a friend convinced me I needed one. He's absolutely one of my favourites. I'm excited to see what you do with yours!

    40. it's annoying that every other resin option is unavailable now that they're offering such a huge sale on the sculpts.
I'd happily pay not-sale price to get the resin I actually want and am actually kicking myself for not ordering a Honey Raspberry Erica Snow when I still could (the Hus got laid off, so there was some extra hesitation and numbers crunching before I decided that I could still get her)

      • x 2
    41. Right where the head sits, I'm getting 12cm even. Down right about where the muscles flare, I'm getting 13cm, maybe a touch over. So I guess they split the difference?

    42. Thank you so much Sianserais! I am very grateful that you took the time to take measurements for me! (:
I was hoping it was more of a 12.5-13cm neck at the top where the head sits. Oh well, I guess I'll have to just keep looking for better proportioned bodies with wider necks (for the rest of my life maybe, Lol!).

    43. OMG, if Dollshe continues the sales, Imma be broke soon. The sales are so attempted tbh.

    44. Gyah, the 26F ladies are on sale? Too tempting, but I have to focus on other things :(

Here is Salinger modeling womenswear while I just have him:

    45. I am safe from the temptation of the girls as I don't collect them. But oh how tempting it is to get a boy because of that sale price. My inner bargain hunter is weeping piteously to be allowed to buy. It's not going to happen but man, the impulse is tough to say no to.

    46. I better not, I had a Erica Snow full set that sat in her prison coffin for 2yrs until I sold her, so that tells me don't do it either. I do hope that Dollshe will still be around and not disappear like so many others have.

    47. Yes without warning he discontinues entire lines and colours >_>
If Iโ€™d known, I would have budgeted for a 55cm arsene!

      Me too! D:
We all know dollshe likes fake discontinuations, but someday itโ€™s gonna be true. When someone is that bad at managing a business............

      • x 2
    48. I'm not sure he's discontinuing colours. Just for this sale certain colours aren't being made available. Or at least that's the way I read the announcement. I could be wrong....

    49. Well discontinued colours for his current dolls.
If someone wanted the current arsene body in grey, theyโ€™re ouf of luck!

    50. Looks like everything but the sale dolls are 'sold out' at the moment. I wish Mr Kim would fulfill orders from 10 months ago before touching new orders.
(waiting on fashion Amanda with new size head.) :doh

      • x 5
    51. The announcement of being "flooded with orders" made me grit my teeth and maybe growl a little bit because I feel the same way @petiteballerine My order was originally placed in April 2018 for a Fashion Saint in espresso ebony and then upgraded to the new 55cm size (same sculpt/colour) in June 2018 (because Dollshe took nearly a month to reply to my inquiry email about upsizing).

I fully understand about the starry sparkles that happen when a new project/idea hits you. I'm an author and have an embarrassing number of WIP's on my HD because of said starry sparkles. But if you're in a position where you have a contract to produce something (I consider taking money for an item as a contract to produce said item), then you should fulfill your obligations to that first or at least make it the priority among your work. But that's me and YMMV.

      • x 8
    52. That's the fundamental basic of contract law: when 2 parties enter into an agreement to exchange consideration (money, in this instance) for goods or service (the dolls people order), accepting the agreed upon consideration creates a binding contract for the accepting party to produce the goods or services, generally within the timeframe the parties initially agreed upon. The extra nice thing about contract law is that it follows the same fundamental basic principle pretty much everywhere. A contract is a contract is a contract.
TLDR: taking money for a thing always obligates you to produce the thing (or give the money back if you cannot)
Mr. Dollshe would do well to remember that (imo)

      • x 2
    53. I might be less peeved about the timeframe if they hadn't responded to my email back in December 2018 asking about an expected timeframe to get my doll by asking me to be a little more patient and that it would be "a few more months before shipping". We're officially half way through the 4th month of 2019 and.... nothing. I'd prefer an honest answer even if the answer isn't one I'm going to like (say... we need another 6 months to make the doll you paid for).

    54. Reading all this, I am really reluctant to order from Dollshe Craft. Which bodies from other companies are simular, so I can take a look?

    55. That is the main problem, not many companies have bodies like Dollshe. Depending on what you are looking for there are several companies which have skinny bodies and others that have buff bodies but the Dollshe aesthetic is unique.

      • x 2
    56. Thanks @SteamWitch, I am not looking for a skinny/young body and prefer a body with lots of posing possibilities without showing unnatural body structure. I am very new to this so I have no clue where to start looking.

    57. I feel like the L4 bodies (which i'm considering to order) are the best ones posing and the natural and realistic proportions they have is what draws me to them mostly

    58. I have just bought Ausley Love, this is my first new bjd and I am so excited. I know it is a huge risk so fingers crossed I will receive her before the end of the year .
