So I never post my comparison photos here ? Damn ! There is no real problem to wear Narsha with KID clothes. BUT ! *indeed, trousers and pants are tight. But they can be wear. *KID have very little hands, so some times I have to remove Narsha hand to slip the sleeve on. About the dress on Agathe, I had to remove hands to put on the top of the dress. Even if KID have arms a little shorter than Narsha's, it is not a problem to my mind. About the underwear on Allana, KID have shoulders and torso a little bigger, so the... Nightdress ? is a little hanging loose. Here Allana is wearing the boy garment. The trousers are a little tight, but Narsha can wear them. ... But they are a little stretchy... Maybe these are not the best example ? :s I have to buy anothers KID trousers ! Because Narsha really have well-rounded bottom ! ^^' I hope my English is enough understandable... ^^'
Great pictures everyone. Here's a picture of my Narsha with her little sister Shabee. Dollmore Narsha and Shabee by Toye's Tiny Treasures, on Flickr
thanks for the extra comparisons Heike! my girls have very few clothes and most of them are handmade so i didn't really have much to show, your comparisons are very helpful sweet girls Calphedoll
Thank you auntbear. I make my own clothes but these two dresses also fit my Iplehouse KID and BID girls.
there's always a few that just aren't worth making and you have to buy them aren't there? it's nice that kids and narsha can share clothes it makes it a little easier to find clothes ... and gives them a bigger wardrobe when they can swap back and forth.
Waaah! I managed to knock over a friend's Narsha and break three fingers off her left hand!!! Dollmore tell me they don't sell the hands separately and will only provide replacements for people who have bought Narsha from them, and have the Warranty (whatever that is, presumably the paperwork that goes out with the new doll), and my friend's girl was a secondhand purchase without paperwork.... {sigh!} I feel horribly guilty and I'm somewhat stumped as to what to do now. Does anyone here know of another company that sells hands of the right size that are a reasonable match for the basic Narsha resin? Teddy
Oh no! I wonder if Iplehouse JID hands in normal skin would work? I no longer have my JID or I would try it for you. I hope someone else can help you. Eta: Iple says the JID wrist is 4cm and I just measured my Narsha wrist and it's 4cm.
Thanks I think from pictures on this thread that he JID hands are much smaller/daintier than Narsha's... I'm wondering if the Chibi Unoa hands would work (I have several spare pairs of those so I could give them a try next time I visit my friend). Teddy
The old basic hands aren't dainty. I think they are about the same size as the Narsha hands and I know the normal skin is a good match. http://iplehouse.com/home/shop/item.php?it_id=1320363177&nhn1=en. Good luck!
Thanks! They look like a good prospect {deep sigh!} I was thinking of the KID hands when I said they'd be too small/dainty.... Teddy
Hello! It's my little girl, Susan who took the dive... Here she is before her injury - she doesn't look so sombre most of the time, she was just trying on dresses... This is just to bookmark this thread as I do often hope to bring her home a same-size friend, as she has no one her age in the Chibi Companions Nursery... Alicex
Maybe you could find someone in England who has purchased a Narsha or friend from Dollmore and can order the hands for you.
I love the look for Narsha and her friends. I heard that these dolls are very popular at Korea and Europe since they have classic European features.
I try not to cross post but this picture shows the siblings off so well and I love Aya's new eyes Family by JD, on Flickr
Thanks, Everyone but my Yo Kuuta has CIG eyes (he has urethanes that happened to come with another purchase) I absolutely love them. I wish Aya's looked a little more like May's in pictures (they are the same color in person) but otherwise perfect. Aya by JD, on Flickr
She is a LE of six. Full set. Only I added the wig. She isn't wearing her hat right now. This is her original ensemble.
I know precisely how that happens! When they posted Encre Violette, she jumped immediately into my cart and checked herself out! However, she hates her FS outfit and refuses to even try it on!
I'm waiting on a secondhand tan Narsha... kind of finding it hard to believe. Narsha's were a doll I'd kind of decided that I probably wasn't going to own, I'm shit at saving and I also like cheaper dolls so I usually default to cheap chinese dollies... but... it's happening. So... I'd like to see tan Narsha/friends if possible!
He is heeere! No (good) pictures just yet but I'm about to make the box opening thread. My camera died so I have to find the charging cable xD
The box opening thread c: /threads/sur...-not-planned-tan-narsha.696215/#post-11783075 I'm looking for my camera charger xD but it's too late for photos right now anyway and this thread seems to move pretty quickly (compared to the other threads I participate in bar Realpuki) so I will post one of his box opening pics without eyes on here c: Meeting Charm by Izzy, on Flickr I think he looked a lot like Mowgli from Jungle Book but his style and character is evidently far from it x3 and I have named him Charm
he does look like mowgli. that tan color is really pretty. its funny that you said this thread moves fast, i was just thinking it was nice to actually see some activity on it again, this is one of the slower threads i'm on! (though the sister thread dear doll is waaaay slower)
Idk my other threads are DollLove MSD, PlanetDoll MSD, Onlydoll yoSD and Resinsoul yoSD, besides Realpuki, and I've had relatively quick answers here comparatively. I guess if you have only a couple of active members you won't post but now I have arrived xD The tan colour is even nicer irl, quite a lot deeper and warmer. VERY nice colour. I've been playing with him all day and tomorrow I will take him out for some pictures (assuming I can find dry spots... being too big for yosd shoes and two small for msd shoes... he's barefoot. Like most of my dolls tbh xD)
mine fits some of the bigger yosd shoes. i'm not sure what brands off hand, you'd have to check measurements but i'm pretty sure the releaserain sneakers are some of the shoes my girls wear. (they are really big on my other yosd sized kids)
Okay, I'll look around. I intend to buy from Dollmore at some point anyway xD they have pretty cheap clothes. So I did Charm's faceup today because what I had planned didn't happen, but now it's half past four and I'm out of daylight SO photographs happen tomorrow.
Wow it took me a while to get these done and uploaded xD and I didn't even edit them, though through a lot of them poor Charm looks quite orange so I think I needed to edit them. Here's one of my favourites c: Charm by Izzy, on Flickr
She has a definite style of her own, doesn't she - I love the picture of her sat at the window in the net skirt Teddy
Yeah, I'm quite excited about it actually x3 I had started to expect another natural, earthy doll but he (yeah, my dolls are confusing like this) decided to go crazy with it and apparently is actually a little jester or something ^ - ^ Another little picture, shows his colour better~ Charm by Izzy, on Flickr
he definitely doesn't look like mowgli anymore i like what you've done with him. the pictures are cool. especially the moody black and white ones
I've been eyeing the soft rose white Narsha & real skin Narsha...has anyone seen either of these skin tones? I would love the real skin, but I'd rather have the soft Rose's dress and faceup...so I'm leaning toward the white. Is it like starchy white? ..I wonder if their white has changed..and if it would turn yellowish over time. I still don't know and I miss the free shipping they use up have. I wish I had looked at it in September when I had some money too.
I have a white skin Zaoll that I have had for several years and she has not yellowed. The white is very white. I have the real skin Narsha and really like her! The skin is very pretty! But she will NOT wear the outfit! I don't know what Dollmore was thinking! The Soft Rose Narsha outfit is much, MUCH better! I have been tempted to get her also!
Hi Nancy, Oh, you're lucky~~you have both! I wish I can see them in person...I'm sure I would love the real skin, but not the dress, but I'm afraid the white girl will look too cold for me...But love her dress~of course non of this would be a problem if I have money to blow...lol
I haven't bought Soft Rose yet! You can ask them to add body blushing to Soft Rose. That would soften the white.
If you're interested in the real skin, my Mokashura is in real skin (my profile picture). I could link you to more pictures of her too. I really love the real skin Narsha. I wish I had the money. I'd love to get my Narsha back. Such a lovely doll.
Oh, thank you for the picture~I'm sure her real skin is very pretty....I really wanted to see the faceup Narsha came with. I have a French resin Narsha that's yellowed, and thought that it would be nice to have one that is not yellowed, but I like the faceup on the white one more just from the promo picture...along with the rococo dress. I don't think I can afford a doll right now anyway....gosh, I only got myself a new jacket for Xmas...no doll...boo
I didn't even get any of my planned Christmas pictures, but I will try to get get one of the real skin Narsha soon.with my old and mellowed Narsha. I don't think either model will sell out soon.
Thank you Nancy...I just realized it's not easy to post photos here. I haven't been active here for the longest time, and I forgot how to even add photos here! I was just about to post a picture of my older Narsha and share...oh well.
You're right! I was able to remember my passcode to photobucket~yay! Just took a picture of her from my phone...the lighting is bad though...Here she is:
Isn't she? Her skin tone is more like those old wax dolls or has a honey glow to it. I may have to just settle on her and not get another.
