I'm not sure how long DF-H's resin has been like this, but my friend just helped me order a DF-H body color matched to Luts 2020 white via DF-H's Taobao, and when she asked about the match they told her that their default white is also color matched to Luts 2020 white.
Useful to know if anyone wanted to put a Luts head on a DF-H body/DF-H head on a Luts body. Last I saw it, DF-H's default white was basically paper white.

 

I just wanted to share this wig I made for my Swallowtail. She still needs a faceup and better eyes but I still think she looks beautiful.

 

I know the topic of what resins does DFH have on file came up, and late 2022 I asked a similar question to Alice Collection and they responded with:

"they have most of these companies' normal and white skin colors: volks, little monica, xaga doll, IOS, Soom, Switch, Dim, Angel studio, Nine9, Dika, DF-A, Charm Doll, LoongSoul, Napi, ramcube, doll zone, myou doll, dearmine"

So if you're wondering what they have/had (at least a year and a bit ago)... this is what I know of.

 

I plan to get the 68cm ver2 boy body and consider to buy jointed hands with it.
Dfh has 1/3 boy hands and 70cm boy hands. I have seen jointed hands can look very big.
Does someone own that body and the 1/3 hands and could show me how it looks?
Do the jointed hands move well?

Wonder if anyone can help me I'm thinking of ordering a body from DF-H, but I'm a little unsure what their resin colours look like these days. Does anyone have a photo of the normal yellow resin? If I remember correctly, it used to be quite yellow, right?

NRei is on a ns yellow 75cm body. It’s just not pink which is what I like.

I can take some photos of resin color comparisons if you like, I have a couple pairs of hands in DF-H yellow from 2023. Would comparisons with any of the following colors be helpful to you? I have Dollshe oriental, Dollshe fresh, Dollshe copper oriental, Iplehouse normal, Iplehouse real, Maskcat normal, JoyDoll's version of Volks normal, Impldoll white, Dollzone white, Dollzone old/discontinued yellow, Aimerai white, Akagidoll white, Akagidoll normal, 2D Doll Normal pink, Universedoll white, DFH tan, and maybe others I'm not thinking of at the moment. Let me know and I can take some photos tomorrow.

@Lotte Rotten Sorry for the delay, thanks for your patience! I prefer taking comparison photos in natural light but the weather did not cooperate, so the photo below is with artificial lighting and a white background to try to keep the color balance accurate. Viewed in person, the colors compare as follows (to my eye): The DF-H yellow is the palest of the three colors, the Dollzone discontinued yellow is the deepest and most saturated yellow of the three, and the JoyDoll Volks normal falls between the other two, slightly deeper than the DF-H yellow and with a slightly more neutral/less yellow tone. I hope this helps!

The floating head that I am trying to find a body for is close in colour to your old Dollzone, so I can see now that getting a DFH body may not be the best choice... Does anyone here have experience with the 63cm DF-H girl body? I just ordered He Lan and this is my first DF-H doll in a very long time. Not since they changed many of their sculpts.

An advanced congratulations on getting He Lan! So far, you are one of the very few DoA members who owns one (gorgeous mold but *very* severely underrated ).

I won't be that much of a help on the DF-H body though, hahahaha, since I chose to hybrid her on an IoS Class65F body.

 

Due to some last minute waffling, I ended up changing my order to Gui Yue. The He Lan is a very beautiful sculpt (that I may still pick up later) but Gui Yue just matches what I wanted more. I'm going for a young Tomie inspired character.

 

Does anyone happen to have the v.5 62cm boy body? I’m really curious about the shoulder measurement. It’s given as 13cm, but is that from outer edge to edge or inner edge to edge?

It took some time, but I succeeded in my quest to hybrid better-looking hands to my Kanadoll Mars / DF-H65 hybrid boy.

I thought I'd gimped myself by ordering a resin-matched body, but thankfully Kanadoll's normal skin (for Mars, at least) was matched to Volks pureskin fair/normal in the first place, so the DF-H 65 body also matched. I was able to hybrid Volks SDGrB hands successfully to my boy. The Volks wrist balls are a smidge large, but overall they look great.

How DFH managed to sculpt such a good-looking 65boy body with such lacklustre hands is beyond me. They don't even have palm creases reeee I won't miss them!

@Rabbit-moon Thank you, I also love beautiful hands on my dolls. Everyone in my house has lovely hands... except Vallant. That was intolerable and needed to be addressed. I'm glad this has a happy ending, and Volks makes plenty of option hands, so I have choices for Vallant now!

 

I've ordered the 58cm (when with head) girl body for my Merry Doll Round Fang head (older, discontinued) via Christina at Clover Singing. I'm hoping for a nice resin match, but I'm not too fussed either way. Also, very delighted with YouGuang and YeZhong, as always. The 68cm body without the waist joint is a dream to pose.

 

Oh Nissa! Would love to see your boys, and especially the 68cm body..

@Rabbit-moon Oh I'd be happy to share! Anything in particular you'd like to see (posing, etc)? My boys are in DF-H's pink resin and so far have fit pretty much all SD17 sized clothing. I adore them both tremendously.

Nissa, by all means, share away! As, I said, I would love to see your handsome boys. But I would love to see their posing abilities, too. Also, would love to see how pretty the body is. Is the jointing nice?

Congrats Astro! Wow! Another 68cm boy. Hope we see pictures of it. What head are you planning to use with it?

 

@Rabbit-moon I have these photos on hand, will get a few more today. The DF-H body is the taller of the two, pale pink. The smaller body is a Dollclans body that unfortunately doesn't pose very well at all, however I managed to get it to do a few things for these photos.

Specifically for the DF-H 68cm body - I love the poseability, he's able to sit, stand, sit with knees tucked up under and resting back on his ankles, sit with knees hiked up and arms looped around or resting over. The chest joint doesn't pop around at random, it's nicely set in place and requires intentional movement to shift it forward or back. He stands very well, even on carpet, although I have cats that are inclined to come by and brush against things so I can't leave my dolls unattended. He also fits well on two different styles of doll stands, but your mileage may vary with those.

In ultra-specifics, his interchangeable parts magnets are Very Strong, which is a huge plus. A couple of my other dolls sometimes lose their pieces down their trousers and the like, or they'll bump off if jostled, but not this body. It's a strong magnet as well as closely fitted, such that my partner forgot they weren't actually fixed and could be swapped.

The feel of the resin itself is also very nice - solid, but also smooth yet very lightly textured? It doesn't feel quite 'toothy' textured, like Dollclans or Dollshe. I'm not an artist, but it feels like a texture that would be very lovely for an artist to paint, and would take sealant very well.

I'm planning on ordering two more of this body for both heads shown in the photos on the link - they're Dollclans Phython (both), and the DF-H body has a very, very slightly wider shoulder width. I feel this suits them well, so the plan is to order two in DF-H's ns/yellow and blush them to match the heads.

Oh these are wonderful pics! It's very good to know that the waist joint also has locks like the chest joint (and that, elsewise, the two bodies I have are exactly the same insofar as thigh, knee, and shoulder joints). I'd purchased mine without the waist joint because usually this joint only ends up frustrating me with other dolls, but it looks beautifully engineered here. I'll consider it for one of my upcoming orders for this body for my Phython heads!

 

LuXian! I bought a body for my Migidoll Mercury when LuXian was released, and it was only like $15 or so more to order it with the head, so it felt like an IQ test and I ordered with the head since in general I like Mori9's work. Buuuut I like my Mercury too much for him to ever have to share a body, so I figured I'd just sell the LuXian eventually. Flash forward to a year or so later and I saw a really cutely painted LuXian around the same time as one of my fav artists (who also painted my Mercury!) had comms open, so I sent him off for a faceup just to see what he'd be like, and liked him so much I had to order him his own body >w<

I've been refreshing tracking like a madman. It's supposed to arrive by the 6th.

Both of my 68 2.0 bodies have the lower waist joint too. It's really sturdy.
I think I might sand their shoulder joint locks down a bit and replace them with silicone discs though, they generally do more harm than good.

 

@Nissa Thanks! I really like the body. It sits/lounges well, and is generally easy to move around. I'll most definitely be purchasing more.

Does anyone have pictures of the 75 cm ver. II body? I'm looking for a body for an artist head, but I don't want it to be too muscular. So I'm curious how it looks in non-company photo's.

 

I got my second 68 2.0 body in today and it's a lot nicer than the other 68 2.0 I have that I ordered when it was first released. The resin feels sturdier and is much toothier to the touch. I think they either adjusted the shoulder joint locks or the nicer resin makes them perform better because they're a lot less annoying to deal with than on my first body. They also started shipping dolls/bodies in carrying bags.
It's a pleasant surprise, but now I wish my first body was just as nice

 

Mine is on the way. I bought it for Nightingale head, so I will be hybriding them as well

Got mine yesterday. What can I say...He's huge! I have old LLT 75cm body (Pearl) and I thought he is the highest. Well, now the new guy with DFh body is the highest ^^' 79cm total with the head.

A lot of Chinese shops do the size iirc, I believe that body fits soom idelian 75 clothing but you may have to get it from other spots like Sartoria J

 

Mostly Taobao. Upper clothes are id75, but be prepared that most of the standard pants will be short
The legs are really a pain with the length. He wears this jeans on the photo. You can compare the length with the promo.
I decided to replace the body with the shorter one, but also will keep this one for more taller character in future.
It's almost 80cm with the regular head, it's too big T_T

 

Can anyone with the 72cm v2 body tell me what size of clothes they wear?

 

Is the head on your DHF75 a FoLeMen artist head? I got their closed eye artist head in white. And have been wondering about the DFH 68cm body they recommended but was wondering about color matching?

This is Yemengjia from this artist. I don't really know if they have instagram or how to spell the name correctly Nightingale as I know from Anubisdolls.
The head was sold in SOOM NS, so I bought DFH with the same color. Match is pretty good

 

So as with what Salvarion said about the 75 body being 79cm, DFH in fact lists the official measurements on their taobao as 78cm with head and 70.5cm without. Alice's Collection erroneously lists it as 75cm with head. The other measurements on Alice are also slightly off for the body.

Thought I should post this here as a heads up.

It's a disappointment to me too, since I really wanted this body but I don't want an 80cm doll : (

I have such a stupid question but I am desperate

I got the 68cm boy with the swappable parts, and he came with the most flaccid one already attached. I can tell there is a seam and Alice didn’t accidentally send me the wrong pelvis, but I cannot for the LIFE of me get this dick off his body. Is there a trick I’m missing?!

 

@SputnikCentury it could be they'd just glued the magnets and the glue didn't fully set, so he's a bit glued-on. (Likeliest thing I can think of.) If you're able to aim a hairdryer at him for a while, the heat might soften the glue and allow you to pull it free. Similarly, hot water (not boiling, but hot) might also soften the glue.

I only use boiling/200-210F water for dyeing dolls, but no harm has come to any of them. As hot as a sink tap will go should be hot enough to soften glue.
