Does Anyone Collect Tonner? Pt.2

My latest Tonner is West End Opening. She is stunning.


But this is my favorite Tonner-Lady

Thank you. I'm a Wonder Woman fangirl for years and i had to add her. I was lucky to get her on Second Market NRFB and without markup.

She arrived today and needed fresh air after the long journey in a small box.


We sold our house and moved into a flat. My new room is the former guestroom and it is tiny. I replaces most showcases with open shelves and i'm still tweaking around. It feels like playing Tetris. For now, this is her place:


I bought the Autums Sonata outfit from the same seller. Cinderella showed me her best puppy eyes and gained the dress.
In return, the Ladies invited her into their room.

Who needs a price? We found a princess.

 

One of the most GORGEOUS Ellowyne's with painted eyes they ever released. She is one I wish I had.

I thougth i wouldn't like the colorful dress, but it's okay. It's bright and funny and a real pop of color in the shelf. Maybe i should place her next to Nevermore?

I wish I'd had the money to get one of these (would have liked all 4 really). The basic doll was stunning! My next favorite was the one with the braids. Now we'll see them all listed on ebay for more than double the price they were sold through the convention

I agree with you - I hate flash-sales shopping, it’s so stressful. I did that once for a BJD; waited up all night to snag a limited doll on a Korean doll site. So not fun! I told myself I’d never do that again, no matter how much I wanted a doll. That is also why I hate the “lottery” system that some doll companies run to acquire their precious dolls.

Thanks for the Doll Shop video. Wow! Her shop is really awesome! Wish I had a doll shop like that around here. I’d go crazy!

@stellarphenomena Thank you! The wig is beautiful, i love the color. Robert Tonner said, the amethyst eyes will be amazing and i trust him.

But before she arrives, i need to rearrange the Tonner shelves.

 

They had 975 dolls for sale and as i ordered my Ello, there were only 19 "Stripes" availible. Now they are down to 9.

"Stripes" was the plain doll in the collection, so i think, that's okay.

 

Stellarphenomena, no I did not get the doll. It was a Limited Edition Full-set Elfdoll Special K. He sold out immediately on the website in 2007. (Not to mention that overseas websites at the time were not as user friendly as they are today.) I was devastated.

Luckily, several months later I actually found a full-set “K” at a U.S doll shop. They had one in stock. I could not believe it! I still have him; he’s not the best poser and he has the early aesthetic of the old-skool dolls, but I adore his ancient bones.

No, but it was a late order. Plus, she has a long journey to Germany. Usually it takes 3-4 weeks untill a doll from the US arrives. I'm pretty sure, it will take untill November.

But i played with my dolls today and rearranged the shelves.


Looks like i should paint the bottom side too...
