May i ask what you think about the male bodies and their poseability? They all look great, I'm especially drawn to the big one with the 5 part torso but 73cm is so big. Maybe I should get the 64cm one, but I wanted to ask first how big is the difference in poseability.

Have you ever tried using female hands on your boys? I noticed the male hands are big and with details like veins, I actually wanted something more delicate looking.

 

@ninive I don't have female hands to compare, but the male jointed hands are on my boy right now. He does have the veins, but they are hard to see unless the light hits them just right. So they are not as drastic in person as the website pictures imply

I have a white skin dikadoll Murong and was able to hybrid it on white skin AOD body without any issue. The head fit on the body just right and looks good proportionally. The resin match is barely slightly off.

I am hoping to get Bobby, a 1/12 sized Dika doll, but I am kinda spoiled for choice in terms of skin colours.
I would be heading to San Francisco and Los Angeles on a school trip and I am wondering if there are any physical stores in the area where I can see Bobby in person?

does anyone have a dika youth head (or something around 20-21cm) on the 68cm body? I have a ringdoll teenager head and I'm still looking around for a body for it and I really like the 68cm dika body but I'm worried it's going to look too small on the body.

Hopping in here because I hope to (sometime in the next year) order Egretta through a dealer - I noticed, at least on LD, that there's an option for 'high heel feet' and 'high heel leg' and I'm wondering how that works. I went to DK's official site and looked at Egretta's page, as well as the page for the 65cm girl body, but I'm still pretty mystified. Does she come with regular knee and ankle joints and flat feet, plus the option of a full high heel leg and also an option for a heel foot to switch out with the flat foot, or something altogether different?

I really need to knuckle down and make an order for a Mo Xia head. Have been waffling on color though. The normal yellow seems very yellow, and the pink very pink (and I've got too many white-turned-yellow dolls here already!). Then there's matching a body - I want one a bit chunkier and not 70cm.

How do the two normal tones age?

Tried to order heads recently (actually 2, one in each color) directly from Dika via email, and kept getting emails back telling me they don't sell tinies' heads separately. Then even after providing links to the 70cm order page for Mo Xia, got more email reminding me that the shipping for "tinies" is high and I probably wouldn't want to pay it. Guess I'm going through AlicesCollections--

 

Good morning all - received the sad news that Aosagihi has been discontinued because his release was limited to a month. I misunderstood the listing on multiple dealers' sites, apparently, and had read it to mean that the fullset + special makeup + accessories was limited, not the doll entirely. Alas, I'm unable to find even a single owner picture of him - if anyone happens to have Aosagihi, I'd love to see him, even if you ordered him blank (in any resin tone)!

 

Following up on my prior reply - I went digging through Dika Doll's site and discovered that Chengxun looks a lot like Aosagihi. I think the Aosagihi sculpt was likely modded from Chengxun - which worked just fine for me! I ordered Chengxun via Clover Singing in mid-December and received a shipping notice today (Jan 22nd), so about a month and a week since I ordered him (blank). Very excited to meet him!

Hello everyone, first time posting to this thread!!

I was on Legend Doll's site and saw that Dika Doll has some new boys up for an event!! Alfred really caught my eye!! He's gorgeous, but the photos that situate his hand near his face are kind of jarring to me because his hand is this weird, clammy-looking white color and it does not look good next to his very handsomely-painted face. Also I'm glad that Legend Doll and Alice's Collections give you a choice when picking his body: the default 73cm seems to be a little too big for him!! I'd personally go with 68cm if I order him, which I might in the future.

I've seen Dika Doll's sculpts before and have been vaguely interested in some of them (namely tan Pan, Lucius (who reminds me of Draco Malfoy ), and Lucius's SP-face), but now I'm seriously considering getting a few of them. I don't know why Dika Dolls don't seem to be more popular; I think a lot of their sculpts are very beautiful!!

 

Kinda itching for a Dikadoll Felis rn. Are the waits for full dolls seriously that short?

 

@deredereyanyan I received my Chengxun very quickly! (It's seriously tempting me to order Egretta, simply because she'd likely be here inside of two months.)

I know I've mentioned getting Egretta in this thread, but with Clover Singing having a 30% off sale on Dika Doll until the end of this month... I think I'm going to do it. Have to see what my finances look like on Monday, but it's about time.

Oh, does anyone have Dika Dolls in normal white and normal pink resin to share a comparison photo? I'm having a heck of a time finding an example of this.

@deredereyanyan they're comparable in measurements to the Iplehouse Eid Woman body, medium bust. Dika Doll will have slightly longer legs though, so something form-fitting like jeans might come out a little above where jeans should sit at the ankle. 3/4th pants or dresses, shirts, sweaters, or historical clothing should all be comparable, presuming it's made for IH medium bust dolls rather than large bust (this is usually the case - but worth double-checking). Hope this helps!

Oh, if you happen to sew, there are patterns for IH women. Adding 2-3cm to the length of trousers should fix the aforementioned. Also, some shops might be willing to do this if you ask nicely, if it's a pre-order item, because it's a simple alteration.

They both arrived super fast. I am thinking of ordering some extra hand parts for them both.

Does anyone own a DikaDoll in dark tan? I can't for the life of me find pictures of it other than their illustrated comparison chart that doesn't really help.
And does anyone know if they still take orders for the dark tan, or if they do custom resin matching? I'm strongly considering their 65cm girl body for the twin sister of a doll that's a Doll Family-A body in their chocolate/dark tan, but I have no idea if Dika's dark tan is even close.

Does anyone happen to have a comparison of how close Dikadoll’s tan resin is too Switch’s mocha brown. From store shots it looks like it has the wrong undertone but was hoping for some first hand experience with the two

Update - just got my shipping notice for Sara! 65 cm body in tan with optional orchid hands. Alice's Collections is sending via FedEx, so I expect she should arrive in the next three business days (probably Wednesday). I'll let you know when I post box opening pictures.

 

How have you found the colour of her?
Was it what you expected? Any comments on the sort of tan tone she is, like is she more warm orange-tan, or cool grey-tan?

 

She is VERY warm and has a strong orange undertone. My Iplehouse Aaliyah is special real skin, which has a very cool, almost gray undertone. Honestly - I prefer Dikadoll. Less, erm, corpse-y.
And HOO BOY, is she HEAVY. Her ankles are the weakest part, because it's so much weight on such tiny (by comparison) joints. The bazongas (boobs) are much more - hmmm - perky? Than I was expecting.
I think the brown Dikadoll resin is a gorgeous color, and I'm looking forward to trying all sorts of brightly colored outfits on her. Waiting for my tan Granado body to do a comparison - Iplehouse, Impldoll, Dikadoll, and Granado tan resins.
And decide which body is going to be Aaliyah's, of course.

The head is driving me nuts, because I think she is the spitting image of somebody - but for the life of me, I can't figure out who.

Dika Doll "65" cm girls are really 62.5 cm, but I still vastly prefer Dika Doll's tan to Iplehouse Special Real or Granado light beige.

Oh, and I'm such a goldfish - here's the Dika Doll Sara unboxing (also with doll nudity).
