Dearmine waiting room v.2

Mom's starting to get impatient. xD
Today she asked when she'll get here. Told her she had to be patient and that it seems they're updating the company workspace and there happened to be a holiday this month.
I'm sure she'll be shipping soon though. Blank and just a wig was ordered with her. :B

 

Well, it's been almost 55 business days now for a basic doll w/o face-up + wig. -___-
I've been in contact with them on their Q&A, but it's been repeated shipping promises.

 

Well, looking over the more recent order-to-arrival times, 2 months isn't unusual (most companies only count week-days, and the times are just estimations, not a promise). It looks like your order took a bit more time, Distractus! -- I'm SO glad you got a shipping notice!!!

 

Yeah, I'm completely use to 3+ month wait times, but their site specified 30 business days on a basic unpainted doll. @__@
It was actually 3 months, I only counted the 5 week days as business days.

They ended up sending my mom a whole ton of goodies as an apology. She got an outfit, extra wig, story book, and a mousepad.
Very pleased overall, they have excellent customer service and I will be back, but I'll be more prepared for the wait time.

 

Yeah... 3 months is definitely on the long side of waiting!

But it arrived?!!! Was everything as expected? Good? I hope so!

I tried to be good and not buy more dolls, but got weak around Christmas and put in a layaway order for

First at Dolk, but they found out they didn't actually have the Canaria Skin (it's sold out at Dearmine), and then over at FaithZ.

I just PIF, and have just got my shipping notice... and only just added my info to the Waitlist because things have been so busy over the holidays (and I'm still recovering!).

I guess I'm just totally powerless to resist Dearmine dollies!

 

Ohh yes, that's exciting though. Hope your Rey gets to you safely. I completely neglected to check if there was a Dearmine waiting room, heh. Just added mine. I ordered DearPet Lily ~Blue Ribbon~ on... Christmas eve. I feel a bit embarrassed that I bought a doll during Christmas. Ah, I'm glad though. I've very excited to get her!

I'm sure we're not the only ones tempted to buy a doll on Christmas! --I don't think I've done it before... but for some reason, I really had a desire to get a doll... In fact, I put another doll on layaway in December! --I'll need to watch that in the future. I was being pretty good about not ordering too many dolls all year until then! (I really have a HUGE collection of dolls already.)

So I was pursuing Dearmine's website, casually adding a certain bunny bean in my wishlist for future consideration (why am I doing this to myself) when I noticed my Lily order is complete. And shipped. And is in customs. Ahhh ~ I'm excited but a surprised I never got a shipping notice??? Glad she's not lost at least, haha!

Hello everyone! I'm joining in because I just ordered myself a christmas gift from Dearmine. I ordered Saera cool ver.celebrity that was released a few days ago. I really love anthro dolls and especially cats and bunnies! Saera looks so gorgeous in her newly version so I just had to get her.

 

I just ordered Vivien L., the website listed her as “in stock” so I’m hoping she’ll be here soon.

I also hope my doll will be home soon too, but I got a reply from them about processing time and they said its roughly a 2 month wait

 

I looked today and it reads “processed” what does that mean to Dearmine?

I saw she was in stock but did that mean she was ready to ship or they are still making her?

 

In stock means you can order the doll but still takes a couple of months to make. They only make so many (30 I think?) so once that number is reached it is out of stock and can’t be ordered anymore.

 

I'm never quite clear on what "processed" means... It could just mean getting the doll packed up and read to ship. It could mean gathering bits (eyes, string) or doing a faceup or getting other items ordered together. So it can take a little or a longer time (weeks for a faceup and blushing).

But I always think that "processed" is a good sign that a shipping notice should happen soon.

I think Dearmine isn't great at sending out shipping notices...? (It's been a while since I ordered directly from them--but some companies just don't email you, they just post it on the website under your order.) You might have to check now and then to see!

 

Oh! No! I had hoped in stock meant it was ready to ship. Oh well, now to stalk the Dearmine website daily.

 

I've ordered a lot from Dear Mine. "Processed" just means your payment has been confirmed. When your order is ready to ship it will change to "Complete". They do not send email notices that an order has shipped, but the tracking number will be in the comments section of your order when it changes to "Complete". A quick way to check on your order if you stay logged in is to look at your points in the "My Account" drop down menu. They give the points when something ships. So when your point value increases an order has shipped and you can go look for the tracking number.

As previously stated "In Stock" just means available to order. Typically it does take the 50-60 business days they list for dolls. I've had it be shorter only once and that was when I ordered a basic doll.

Even if the doll is ready I don't think Vivien L will ship in less than a month as they have posted there was an error with the wigs. They expect the correct wigs to reach them in about a month. They will then ship the wigs to people who have already received Vivien but I suspect for anyone waiting on her (I am too) they will hold the order until the correct wig is available to ship.

Congrats on your Vivian L. order, Dakashy! I ordered one, too, but through DOLK. Wish I knew she was available from Dearmine directly (missed her during the release period), after reading some less than stellar reviews of Dolk's customer service. No such worries with Dearmine. All I can do now is keep my fingers crossed that I get her, but if not, there will always be more dolls.

I purchased a doll labeled "in stock" from Dearmine in 2017. Ordered it on Feb.13 and got it in hand on March 25 - not too long a wait. Of course, it was a Studio L9 Babara, which is a tiny doll, so not sure if the wait is longer for larger dolls.

 

I am curious to see if the Dolk doll is actually in stock and ready to ship. Please share pics when she arrives. I’ll do the same with mine.

Yes, it appears they do have her in hand. After they confirmed my payment on Monday, they sent a photo of her on Tuesday for me to confirm that she's the item I ordered. I confirmed that it was the correct item and this morning they sent an email saying they would get her ready to ship and that they'll email me the tracking number soon.

The photo showed Vivien nude in her box with her default fashion and accessories spread out around it, including her wig. I can't tell for sure if it is the correct style wig, since it was still in it's package, but it's certainly the correct color pink. Obviously, I'll find out for sure once she gets here. I'll also try to take a couple of pics of her to share with you at that time, too.

Vivien's here! She actually arrived on Saturday, without Dolk sending me a shipping notice, so I was a bit surprised to say the least. Going by the tracking number on her package, she got here in just two days from S. Korea. I've only taken a quick pic of her and probably won't get around to taking more for awhile, partly because there are a few tweaks to her fashion that I'd like to make.

She looks just like Dearmine's promo photos of her. Same intense blue eyes (which I'll need to work on positioning better) and all the pieces of her outfit described in her listing. The only things missing from her fashion, when comparing it to those photos, are the ribbons used on the shoes, but they aren't listed as coming with her. If you like that look, it shouldn't be too hard to take her hair bow over to a fabric or craft store to match it up with some ribbon you can buy there. Also, mine didn't come with anything to lace up her corset with.

When I say that I want to make tweaks to her outfit, it's in part because of that. The corset piece doesn't have any other closures. I think you're supposed to use some thin white ribbon and thread it through the lace trim, like they did in the photos, but none was provided - at least, it wasn't in my package. You can't get the corset to fit right unless you can lace it up. I tried using the bow pin to keep it closed for the pic, but my bow fell off it while trying to get it on and off. I mean, I can re-glue it back on, so it's nothing major. Just difficult to use effectively. Same thing for her hair bow. I believe my doll came with the correct wig - it looks right when I put it on, but when I try to clip the hair bow on, it lifts the section clipped, so the bangs don't sit right anymore. These are little things, like I said. Easy enough to figure out a better way to use them.

One other thing on the wig - and perhaps this is just me - but when I took a photo of her straight on, you can make out the elastic edge to it. I'm not used to having that happen on a doll and maybe it's due to the shape of these cat heads. I'm more comfortable dealing with tiny dolls, so Vivien being larger is a size I'm not as used to. Anyway, here's a pic taken more from an angle. It's not the best, but I think you'll see she's pretty much as expected. I'm sure those of you who are much more skilled will be able to take better pics of her. I had to take it with her seated, since I only have a small light tent. I didn't bother putting her tail on.

I hope your Vivien arrives soon, too, Dakashy! She's much nicer than my pic shows. This was just a quick take. I didn't set her eyes well, couldn't figure out how to use her hair bow more effectively, and didn't have her corset laced up, so she'll look a lot better with those done correctly. I prefer to use Mack's sillicone, but only had that hard putty that comes with her. I find that stuff difficult to use.

 

Just plopped my remaining paypal funds on a Dearmine Beans Lorenz and their new line companion doll Salt. They're so adorable! Now I wait for these little guys to come!

Edit: I figured it out by looking at the stand alone body. He's actually the perfect size for what I want.

Taking a sit here in the room as I am waiting on a Salt. I am hoping he will make a cute little brother for my Elfdoll Catsy twins. I could not resist him. He reminds me a bit of my little lynx point kitten.

 

Salt is so cool. And you all made me go look at Dearmine's site and now I'm sorry I didn't get a Lorenz... But Dearmine makes so many adorable dolls, I can't have them all, even if I wish to!

There were a lot of things about Xander that made him tug at my heart ... so much so that we made a 2000 mile round trip to bring the little guy home. I think he was my midlife crisis....

I did get the grey face up. While it is not exactly like Xander, it was enough for me to hit that buy button! Maybe down the road I will give him some body blushing.

Let’s be honest, we will buy the fancy eyes, no matter what. I will personally go through at least four different pairs, because I love hoarding eyes. But I am sure our dollies will appear soon! It will be so great, I can’t wait.

The Elkhart Joann’t got a new sewing area and maker space in the new store. We need to make new doll bags there! They have everything we need and things we didn’t! We can laser cut special things for our dolls with their Glowforge to make a really cool doll display for the fall meet!

 

Well, it is officially June.. so maybe my Salt will be here next month?

I ordered mine mid March so it shipped exactly three months, so hopefully in mid July you'll receive yours!

Very true. A single Lupy could get terribly lonely.. and who know when or if they will release them again. After all they closed out the Shine line entirely, and companies have disappeared overnight before... I would not leave it to chance.
