    2. Nice way of making a wig! Looks easier than the methods I've seen before. Makes me tempted to try ^^ Do you ever have the problem that the hair loosens when you cut away the rubber bands?

    3. Oh wow, that looks like a fun way to make a wig. I will have to give it a go at some point! Thanks for the share :)

    4. Thanks :D I was actually worried it'd seem super complicated and no one would care enough to watch the tut but I'm glad to hear it seems simple!
I made the top part twice in the process of making this tutorial, and both times I had no issues with the hair loosening when cutting the bands :) and since making the wig (in November) its still nice and taut, so no issues there!

No problem :D Glad you think it looks fun, I definitely enjoyed working out how to make it hehe. I hope to see what you come up with!!

    5. @saharali thank you for the answer ^^ Makes me even more tempted to try it. What made me say it seems easy is how you use glue to attach the hair, as it seems not as time-consuming while still making a nice result ^^ ...though it's probably not as easy as it looks once I try it x)

    6. @Snyblind It actually doesn't take too long! Waiting for the glue to dry honestly took more time than the gluing and styling xD I try to keep things simple and quick!

    7. Love your alpaca wig tutorials!
What do you use to dye the fiber? the colors are beautiful!

    8. Honestly? I use whatever is cheapest at my local supermarket LOL
In Australia, most local stores have cheap dyes in the beauty/toiletries aisle, and each tube costs about 8aud? so like 5usd? and i'll just grab colours i like when they're there :) Sorry I don't remember the specific brand. I enjoy Dare Hair Colour when I'm feeling a bit more boujee.

    9. Wow really? I can't get my alpaca to dye that intense unless i use Kool-aid. Do you use boiling water or a cold bath? Or by cheap dyes do you mean like human hair dye?

    10. Oh my God, it's so cute! I need to try it when my girl comes home :D

    11. Thank you so much for these tutorials! Everyone really appreciates them!!! I'll make sure to watch them when I make my girl's wig for some more tips~

    12. Oh, sorry! Yes, I use human hair dyes. Usually the cheap temporary hair colours that are made to rinse out after a few washes. As long as the alpaca is a pale/offwhite colour, the dyes will come out intense! And because we don't wash our dolls hair, they won't fade either.

@fairywhale Oo I hope it helps when you come to making her wig!! :D

@meatmelon Thank you so much for your sweet comment <3 I really like knowing that I can help people with all the mistakes i've made while learning haha

    13. If I ever make a wig, I definitely want to try this out!! Thanks for the tutorial ^^

    14. thanks for the tutorial! looks so fun :)

    15. Thank you for interesting tutorial :3nodding:
Will it work with a normal glue, the one that is not specifically for fabric? And is it safe to keep it on the doll's head?
What do you think about using sanitary silicon as an alternative to a glue when making doll wigs, is it safe?
Sorry for too many questions (you look experienced in this area :thumbup).

    16. It'll definitely work with normal glue! I just use fabric glue because it's waterproof :) And its very safe to keep on the dolls head, as long as the fibre you're using has been thoroughly washed and isn't going to rub off on the resin.

Silicone should be usable! I've seen people use it as the glue. I personally wouldn't use it for the wig cap because it would set flexible and I like my wig caps to be very tight and solid, but you totally could if you wanted it to be flexible :)

    17. Thanks a lot for your advice :abow:
