Charm Doll Waiting Room

To be clear: the blush isn't poorly done I just ended up regretting it.
It doesn't suit his character, it would probably be cute if he was a more cutesy guy.
The blush color would also most likely look better on a different resin color, too.

Hi!! I ordered the new Coppelia 9/25 since she was 15% off, they told me approximately 5-6 months wait time, can’t wait to meet her next year! Lol

 

I feel like Charm Doll needs more love. Their dolls are so beautiful. Carson seems so smug, I love it!

 

I agree...they look so nice in pictures (haven’t received mine yet), but the long waiting period is kinda about off...

 

So the average wait time should be 5-6 months right? I'll hit 6 months in 3 days, and I don't want to pester alice collections, so when is a good time to send a message to ask how it's coming along?

 

I'd go ahead and ask her now. A status update is a quick and easy thing to do, and it makes everyone feel better to know what is going on.

 

I asked alice collections when the doll would be ready, and they mailed back that she should be ready in 20 days! I'm excited . I hope the shipping will go well, their site says it might have 1 or 2 months delay x.x

 

I ordered a Circe back in April when she was first released, through BJDivas, and haven’t heard a thing yet

 

I also ordered her in april, through alice collection. I mailed them oct. 22nd, and they said they needed 20 more days. Not sure if they meant days or work days, but it's a decent estimate. Of course then it still has to be shipped to them, and then to me.
I'm assuming yours will have similar times then.

 

I actually got my circe in yesterday! It was super surprising but apparently she was already on her way for 20 days, they sent her out 3 days after I mailed them to ask for the status. She's absolutely amazing! I bought her fullset, but she came without shoes and 1 eye. I suppose the 1 eye is normal, even though her second eye does have a small opening, but I'm not sure about the missing shoes.

Hi everyone! Anyone know the average wait time for charm doll? Im planning my next few dolls and need to decide which to get first.

It was 5 months for my latest Charm doll. Ordered blank on APR 30 through Alice’s Collection, shipped SEP 28.

 

Yeah, time for me to revise my statement! This thread makes it seem like 6-7 months. A recent email exchange with ACBJD told me it would be 6 months.
An email just today containing my tracking number means my order took only 4 months! So I guess it is quite variable honestly.

 

Thank you everyone! Seems like it is pretty variable. I think ill get my charm doll one first, just in case. Then ill grab my other one since that one seems to be a more stable and predictable time.

 

Reporting in to say my body arrived! And wow, I have owned Loongsoul before so I know they are well engineered, but... I’d forgotten just how well! It’s nice to have a doll whose wrists can actually bend!

 

Just ordered a Cherry from acbjd! All there left is to wait... Saw the previous thread saying they got their doll in 4 months, really hope my wait is that short too!

Hi! Joining the waiting room. Ordered a Raccoon with faceup/blushing/wig on Feb 17! So excited!! Alice's Collections said about 7 months.

 

Coppelia is so delicate and beautiful! Can't wait to see pictures of her with the darker hair.

 

Coming up on a year now since I ordered my Circe through BJDivas. I really hope they receive her soon.

 

She arrived just a couple days ago (3/23)! That makes about a 7 month wait-time.

 

Ahh a place of the waiting, ordered my boi Baron on March and I know this is the beginning of a looooog wait. Super exciting, even bought extra clothing and stuff for the long wait lol

Joining this waiting room^^. I ordered a Charmdoll Polly through Alice's Collections last week, I couldn't pass up such a sweet witchy girl and I had to have that scythe . I ordered her blank plus full painting for the scythe, judging by the wait times listed in this thread she will probably arrive just in time for Halloween

 

I received a shipping confirmation from Alice’s for my Coppelia today. It was less than 5 months waiting time. Since she is in light tan, I thought, it would take longer. So it was a nice surprise. I hope, they will have a tan event someday again, I really would like to get little Eudora in this skin tone too.

 

Just ordered my boy Vincent two weeks ago and I mailed Alice’s and they told me that it’ll take roughly around 6-7 months for him to arrive. Its going to be a looong wait :’) so does anyone have any ideas on what I could do while I wait for him?

All right, I guess I can finally take a seat in here. My bf wants to get me Baron, but gets paid on the 6th. And then i takes 3 days (max) to get into my bank account then I can order Baron. I have wanted Baron for a while and I can't express to my man how thankful I am. He said its an early Christmas gift, but I think its more a 'congrats' because as I type this I am still in he hospital in recovery from a massive reconstruction surgery. (So if my past doesn't make its because I am on a lot of pain meds.

I have been out of the hobby for about 6 years. I still had all my dolls so I never really left, but it wasn't thy hyper fixation. And holy crap, I forgot how fun and exciting it is to plan, and looking at dolls, doing research, ect... Will be getting

Hi there! I am also waiting on a Baron. I jut love his face omg. Got mine in white skin no faceup so I can dye him a nice warm tan. Ordered mine back in April and was told anywhere from 4-9 months. So who knows at this point >.< Im hoping mine will be sooner since I got him blank, but i am ready to wait longer.

 

Yes! Everyone seems to like Baron but I NEVER see any owner pics of him. Only a few on instagram but it was mostly from 1 person. Making the total being 3 different owners/dolls.

Howdy! I ordered a Charm Doll 42-cm body, Version II, in WS, no blushing on 7/21/21 through BJDivas and just paid up today. Hoping to use it as a hybrid (some modifications will be necessary).

Is there a Wiki tracking page for CD? Or just this thread?

 

Oh another baron lover!! Congrates I'm waiting on my boi too but I got the fullset and having to wait 7-8 months on him. But its true I never seen anyone have him kinda weird. But once i get him I was going to post an unboxing !

 

Yeah I have only seen like. Two different people have him, but I think he is still fairly new-ish? And Charm Doll having its relation to Loongsoul too, I would think Charm Doll in general would be a bit more popular.
I am supper bummed basic Baron doesn't come with his horns. I noticed other basic Charm Doll sets come with their extras if you want them. I also wanted his wig. Part of why I wanted Baron was because he reminded me of my character (warning for a little bit of blood). I can't say if I will shell that character into my Baron. As I have no idea what I am doing with him.

I did however pay the first part of my layaway with Alice collections though! Please do tag me in your box opening when he gets here. Would love to see. I should also try to do a box open, but I am to excited to stop and take pictures most of the time.

My first resin purchase of the year is a Charm Doll Aria, so I'm joining this waiting room. I got her in the new "XS-size" chest option which ACBJD has no pictures yet of. Hopefully it's indeed 25.2cm as the listings say!

 

I'm waiting for Charm Doll Leo now as well as the Lucas I already ordered. He's another doll that is going to be a TV show character I like. Now I can use the time waiting to learn to make clothes, especially the outfit he wears in the show.

 

I’m waiting for Charm Doll Dyami fullset right now~ I instantly fell in love with the way he looks and his cute face. I started my layaway through ACBJD on 12/25/21 so I’m well into my wait, and I can’t wait to get him!

 

Still waiting on my blank Charm Doll 42cm body (CDB-G42-02). Emailed the dealer - nothing in yet.

 

Got a Renard off the second-hand market! He's my first MSD boy. However... I found it hard to find clothes that could fit him, only the loose fitting ones could. Never realised Charmdoll MSD bodies are larger that the typical ones! Does anyone face the same issues? How do you go about it and what shops do you order clothes from?

 

My Charm Doll Eric should be finished this month!! He may not ship this month because of an outbreak...

At least I managed to get his clothes ready for him.

Yup! It's about 6 months. It might be pushed to seven just because of real world stuff. I can't blame them though!
